Amazing workout that will change your life! Marnie is truly the best, she created a remarkable technique and phenomenal community. You’ll notice results after one week of classes, its a full body, mind, heart, soul workout. Whether online or in the studio you’ll be so happy that you discovered her incredible sprit and strength.

This is hands-down the best bar class and best workout class I have taken. I have been attending for over a year and I keep wanting to come back, which I am forever grateful for. It is the perfect balance of cardio, sculpting, and stretching. The teachers are amazing and they remember each and every person in class. This class also is very empowering, and I leave ambitious! Thank you, Marnie, for creating this class! This was exactly what my life needed!

I've been sweating here for over a year and am still completely in love with this barre studio, although it feels like calling it a barre studio is somewhat minimizing. M/Body, formerly known as Barre Belle, is a fun, ballet-influenced, full body workout in an hour. It's crazy addicting due to the loving, enthusiastic, motivating and inspiring energy brought by the instructors and all who attend classes there. I highly recommend anyone looking for a challenging group workout to check out M/Body by Marnie Alton. PS. I also love that ALL the teachers kick my butt!

I’ve been working out here since it opened 5 years ago (and was called Barre Belle). M/Body has transformed my relationship with working out. It’s always challenging and it’s fun. I can be quite the critic, so finding this place was a goddess-send. Speaking of goddesses, Marnie Alton is the supreme of M/Body. Genuine, loving, and a total badass. I can confidently say that my relationship with my own body is better due to her influence.
On a practical and less sentimental note —every instructor is fantastic in their own way—there is no sub-par class nor instructor . Also, I’ve tried other barre forms (Barre Method, Pure Barre, and Barre 3) and they don’t compare. I find M/Body to integrate more cardio and to be a more comprehensive full body workout. There are many class offerings which makes it easy for my hectic schedule. There is also no problematic workout culture BS here. They encourage everyone to work according to the needs of their respective bodies—they offer great modifications if you have injuries and there is no judgment about modifying. Simultaneously , the push and challenge their clients in all the right and encouraging ways. Parking is shockingly never a problem (if you are confused about where to park, just look at their website or call them).
Ultimately, it’s not just a place to work out. It’s a community of people who work to grow and deepen both physically and spiritually. I can’t recommend it enough. I hope I never have to move 🤞🏻

I visited Barre Belle while traveling for work and it was great! The instructor was so attentive and helpful, even though I was from out of town and not a regular. Great workout, really positive vibes, and it felt really inclusive!

Hardest class I’ve ever done and I was sore for a whole week and I’ve been working out for 10 years. Best class in LA.

The very day that I saw a Facebook post announcing Marni Alton had opened a Barre studio (and on La Brea no less) I was at the front door to get signed up...that was almost 5 years ago and I haven’t stopped since.
It is a workout like no other, you’ll stand straighter, walk taller and feel like you are in charge, like never before. Come ❤️Barre Belle!
