At Meltivity, we use a holistic approach integrating our expertise in personal training and bodywork to help you move better. It is a comprehensive fitness solution that provides treatment with a recovery-based fitness alternative that demonstrates the clear and unquestionable connection between physical activity and recovery. At Meltivity, we ensure that your safety is our number one priority. Each 1:1 personal training client is required to go through an extensive assessment before moving forward. This helps provide the trainer with enough information to allow them to design an exercise program based on the client’s specific needs. What works for one person may not work for the next.

Melissa is a well-rounded trainer whose expertise is continuously expanding. With our primary focus on boxing and strength training I personally wanted, I find her very helpful in recovery, stretching, balancing, and agility, all of which are crucial to overall improvement. Thanks to her comprehensive programs and methods, I can try different things that work for me. More importantly, her attention to detail makes a real difference. She will guide you to proper loading, posturing, and balancing. I find her extremely helpful and will continue to work with her.

I just got finished working with Melissa and I feel great. Her level of knowledge is unparalleled; she was immediately able to detect that I was flat-footed and had a super tight quad and psoas. She used a combination of manual therapy, cupping and a vibrating theraGun to relieve the tension. She then provided instruction on “homework” to do to help activate my weak muscles to help get me more balanced. If you’re looking for a recovery (or fitnsss) specialist, I would for sure recommend her and Motivity!!

I have been seeing Melissa over a year. She has been wonderful. A great combination of strength training along with mobility when it come to her training sessions. She pushes me where, at the gym I wouldn’t. She has a great knowledge of which exercises help to increase mobility, much needed as you sit all day.

This is not your average training. In my experience, Melissa combined functionality & movement consultations (prior to any “training”) to identify the root causes of any accessory shortages and prescribing a program from there.
What I always thought was quad & low back issues causing my tightness, turns out to be a compromised solace. The movement difference was evident immediately.

Go see Melissa for your massage therapy needs and help with muscle recovery! She's informative, patient, and first and foremost, knows what she's doing and works with you on what YOU need.
I wanted to seek extra help with muscle therapy/recovery due to suffering from lumbar radiculopathy and sciatica for the past few months. I wasn't seeing the best results from the exercises that my physical therapist told me to do so I decided to go see Melissa. At this point my back muscles were so tight and tense that you could feel it by just poking it. :(
I had a session where she used cupping, massage guns and deep tissue massage techniques. I also had a 1:1 session where she went through and showed me different exercises that helped with my muscles that were weak and inactive (for me it was my core and glutes).
After the massage session, my muscles felt relieved and some of the pain I was feeling in my back and leg was noticeably better. Combining my physical therapy exercises and the stretches + muscle strengthening exercises from Melissa, I have seen a notable difference in my core strength and glute muscles (I'm not shaking from just doing 10 second planks anymore!!)
I would definitely recommend Melissa to anyone who needs a good deep tissue sports massage or help with becoming stronger and strengthening your muscles. Thank you again Melissa!! :)

Since shelter in place started, I began working from home and barely exercised at all. I started gaining a lot of weight and wanted to make a change. I reached out to Melissa at Motivity and she immediately booked me a slot for an initial assessment. She let me know what I was lacking and my weak areas and designed a program for me to specifically lose weight. Within a few sessions I noticed the difference and was more motivated to workout. Melissa always plans out the workout and always has something different so I don’t get bored. She also gives me challenging workouts so I push myself to do better. Also, while I am doing the exercise, she immediately tells me what I am doing wrong and always corrects me. You definitely won’t be able to slack in front of Melissa! She’s a pro. I am confident that she will help me achieve my goals, and definitely recommend her to everyone!

Melissa is an amazing trainer! I’ve worked with her for a couple of years and she’s helped me gain increased strength and helped me work through some injuries. She has more certifications than any other trainer I’ve worked with. Her extensive knowledge in movement and recovery make her an amazing trainer. In addition to helping me gain strength and tone, she’s helped me with pain, stability and range of motion after injuries. She has so many skills to draw on when helping me achieve my goals, whether it’s weight training, stretching, massage or cupping, Melissa is an expert!
