love the gym, love the environment. But having to freeze my account 3 times because each time was failed and I kept getting charged countless times even after It was confirmed that It was frozen? then having to constantly go and deal with it. Poor communication and mild management. I love this gym, thats why I wanted to freeze my account for the meantime but now I just want to cancel.

Update: they called me and sorted things out. Very rare problem came up which even I was surprised about but the Manager happened to reach out and refund me my 2 past month membership subscriptions and even offered a specialty membership for the first month when I do ever comeback.

The owner put his soul into this place and it shows. Members are serious and still show respect towards each other
and equipment. Really enjoy the yard selection and the newer leg equipment. No other gym upgrades like this nor keeps everything in working order. You can say hello to owner as he is there working out almost every day. Upgrades keep happening, the yard is now covered lit and has music and tvs. Inside and the yard open 24/7.

I just joined last night. Great gym! I used to go to the one in Long Beach. This has a similar vibe and is very well maintained. People here are serious and supportive. It seems like a great culture. I did a two-hour chest workout without even realizing that much time had passed. There's a ton of equipment, from new (indoors) to legacy (mostly outdoors). Big choice of bars for bench, squat, and deadlift. Tons of accessory equipment. Cardio area. Tires etc. are outside. Alternating metal and rap played nice and loud. Bodybuilding videos on the screens. There's a posing area with adjustable lighting if you're doing bodybuilding. Key fob for late night access. They're only closed for a few hours per week for deep cleaning. (The cleaning here is excellent.) They provide chalk. There were five flat benches indoors, and they were all empty on a Monday, slightly off peak hours. At other gyms there would be a line all night long. I was doing a home gym exclusively, but I needed to get back in where I could work out with other people. I have no regrets about joining Metroflex.

All the plates are rusty and old, but that can add to the charm if you like the old school power lifter type gym. Not my personal cup of tea but definitely gets the job done for weightlifting. Definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone trying to do cardio of any sort.

If you’re going to enforce strange cut-off rules for your age in order to get a day pass, at least be a little nicer about it. The gym had a lot of great stuff, possibly worth the extra money, but the one guy that helped me wasn’t too nice. It doesn’t make sense that you’re required to have an adult right by your side of you’re under 16. It could be less than a month from 16, and it would still be enforced. I’ve never seen another gym have a rule like that, plus they can’t really enforce it if you just say you’re 16. The reason I stay with my gym isn’t because I like all the rule, but because they’ll actually be nice and reasonable when enforced. At least be nice

It's a good gym with a lot of equipment, I love how there's always a power rack available, I like the outdoor workout area. I gave it 4 stars tho for a few reasons. It gets very hot in the summer often it feels hotter inside than outside, a lot of the weights are broken or rusted, especially outside I've often picked up a weight just to have to put it back because there's a large piece missing. Third I think this gym should ban recording yourself idk how others feel but there's so many people with cameras set up it's annoying to have to avoid them in the small space that is metroflex.

Metroflex gym Murrieta is a gym that you can call your home. The members, staff, trainers and the owner himself all work hard to keep the gym clean and a friendly environment. The gym has any piece of equipment you can think of including powerlifting bars and racks, strong man equipment, countless machines (old gen and new gen) a fully equipped yard to workout outside. I love metroflex! I just moved to murrieta and now my entire life revolves around it literally! Food, supplements, and the view from the plate Load low row at sunset is actually quite spectacular!

They have a very comfortable belted glute extension though. So that was good to hit the parts I couldn't hit on leg press. My glutes and hams have been neglected due to life on the road recently so I'll be using this machine alot while I'm here.

The environment isn’t what I would call friendly. The front desk isn’t very informative either. Whoever it is answering emails regarding complaints has an attitude that would make any customer relations worker tear their eyelids off with pliers. The equipment isn’t sanitized at all so the place is a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. Mask mandates aren’t followed either. I can’t recommend anyone to come to this gym in good faith.

Horrible gym. The health department shut them down. They then sent a letter via email to all members telling them to ignore it. The county then put them on a restraining order. Again the owner said to ignore it. He then started billing again during the Restraining Order. We cancelled, they still billed. We changed credit cards, they still billed. A year later we moved to Florida and they are still trying to hit our credit card. Horrible. As far as the gym, the owner does a great job demanding that you put your weights back. However you cannot do any cardio in the gym because if 3 pieces of cardio are being used simultaneously the breaker trips and all 3 come to a sudden and complete stop. Those running on the treadmill get hurt-seen it! Glad to be in Florida. Not happy with Metroflex a year after leaving because they still try and get money from members who cancelled 18 months ago. By the way, changing your credit card number is not enough. Not only do you have to change the number but you have to stop all automatic billings in order to prevent this Metroflex scam. I however just changed banks. Inconvenient? Yes. But reviews help others.

I have been training at Metroflex Gym Murrieta for almost two years. Whether you’re a hardcore competitive athlete or somebody wanting to get in shape, this gym will get you results. Wide variety of high quality machines and equipment as well as amazing trainers. There is also a supplement shop inside as well. The atmosphere alone is enough to help you push past your limits. Not to mention the members and staff are amazing and are always willing to help you out and give you pointers. With that being said, this is not your average commercial gym. The music is loud, weights are clangin’ and bangin and chalk and ammonia are more than welcome. I FINALLY joined Metroflex Murrieta, after about three years of following them from when they started building it out. I have found my new gym home! Was a little intimidated to start group training at Metroflex, but Ryon and the staff were so welcoming and made it such a positive experience! I absolutely love Ryon's boot camp as well as my one on one training and would absolutely recommend him for anyone.

My boyfriend (Ryon) recently started training at Metroflex in Murrieta. He offers one on one training, boot camps, small group training and holistic lifestyle coaching. “The yard” at Metroflex is the perfect location to hold boot camps. I enjoy being outside while working out and the atmosphere at Metroflex keeps me moving and motivated to push through a brutal work out. I only jumped into fitness 2 1/2 years ago and at that time I was always nervous to go into new gyms. I often still get that feeling but after training at Metroflex I do not feel intimidated at all. The gym is extremely clean and the music is enough to keep you moving. I don't usually write reviews, but have to after reading some of the negative reviews. Yes, it can be intimidating to come to this gym with members that are so buff and fit, but it is amazing. I have never had a negative experience and I do not have the physique of their clients. The support and the trainers are amazing. I knew after touring a few gyms that this was the one for me after seeing all the weight equipment. This is the place to be if you want to be the best you can be! I find everyone to be very friendly, encouraging, and supporting. I have never met the owner, but I talked to him on the phone and he was very encouraging that it is a gym for everybody.

I just absolutely love this place! I drive 15-20 minutes out of my way, past several other gyms, to go to this gym. I had been looking for a bodybuilding gym in the area for a while. Badass equipment, all the good stuff. Iron weights. Only rule is 'respect the gym by racking your weights'. They provide chalk too
