Michael specializes in assessment-based personal training and individualized program design. Every client begins with an assessment where we discover compensation patterns and muscular imbalances. He then designs a program based on the client's unique needs, focusing on exercises that lay the foundation for any fitness program: stability, mobility, posture, core strength and balance. As a compliment to personal training, Michael is also a trained Holistic Lifestyle Coach; and works nutrition, sleep patterns and stress management into client care. Your goals become his mission – losing weight, looking and feeling better, having more energy, or strengthening your body. He incorporates a wide variety of exercise modalities into his programs.

I’ve been an athlete all my life and completed countless workouts both as a team and individual. Michael is all about functional movement and I’ve found his process more beneficial than the typical weight room personal trainer. Michael Krick is the best! I do a lot of physical work so I’m constantly moving my body in all sorts of directions and positions which causes pain. However after talking with Michael about my situatio, measurements were taken and a series of stretches and exercises specifically tailored to me was put in place. After following the recommendations I can continue doing the work I do with ease and don’t have to worry about having pain after I work. Highly recommend his services!

Michael, Megan and Quad are outstanding on every level - fitness, health, nutrition and overall wellness. They are educators who generously share their extensive knowledge with their clients. I’ve had previous trainers and have belonged to “high end” expensive health clubs. None have come close to the personalized training for health and fitness I’ve received from Quad. Michael creates individual exercise programs that far surpass Physical Therapy for chronic back pain. After 7 months of treatment, I’m about 60% improved. That’s significantly better than 0% improvement over 40 years with 15 different Physical Therapists. Furthermore, Michael is always available to monitor and switch exercises that are not helping. I’ve referred 3 others to him, one being my wife. I highly recommend him.

I'm new to The Quad, but I'm already thoroughly impressed with the place! Meghan, the trainer with whom I met for my assessment, is cheerful, professional, extremely competent, and down to earth. The vibe is easygoing and very positive. I'm no spring chicken, but I wasn't made to feel self-conscious about my age or fitness level in any way! Looking forward to my fitness journey with this group. I'm sure I'll be posting more positive reviews as we progress together!

I came hear 6 mos ago because I won a silent auction. Not sure of what I was getting into but thought I would try it. I was massively out of shape and over weight. I had been trying to loose weight for over 16 yrs with off and on success. Not thinking I that personal training was for me I tried it anyway thinking I wouldn't continue after the initial included visits. I was so impressed with Michael Krick with his thorough assessment of all areas of health that I decided to continue and explore what he might be able to do for me from an overall health perspective. I was surprised to see the imbalances corrected, surprised that he had a way of finessing me into doing all the things necessary for over all health that I didn't think I would ever do. He's more than just a fitness coach he really cares about your successes and your overall health. I would recommend him a thousand times over for anybody looking to improve their health, body or mind. Having more optimum health is worth every penny!

I have been fortunate enough to work with both Michael and Meghan on my fitness and overall body health journey. I first came to them for help a year after my 3rd baby. My core muscles were very stretched and weak. Michael’s evaluation of my posture and gait were incredibly thorough. The plan they developed was highly tailored to my needs, both physically and mentally! Both have understood my limitations with time and kids, and worked to motivate and encourage compassionately. I have a major issue with motivation, and I highly recommend using their plan that includes access to the app. It made my workouts clear, organized, and helps with motivation by allowing you to check off each box. With a gym membership, I found myself rarely going after a while. With this I’ve exercised 6 days a week for the first time in 20 years. I feel amazing!

I got to meet Meghan and Mike a couple years ago and work with Mike as a fitness coach. He identified many imbalances in my body that I had been told by others before as well as Found new ones I had no idea about. He gave me simple routines to do at home to reduce risk of injury due to overcompensation, and I could tell he’s one of the best of his kind. He is super knowledgeable, thorough, patient and passionate about helping people. Meghan is equally as wonderful. She has spent years perfecting and expanding her knowledge on nutrition as a wholistic lifestyle coach as well as functional body movement. She’s extremely sweet and passionate about helping as well. El Dorado Hills is blessed to have a newcomer on the fitness scene in Michael and his private gym, KrickFit. I met Michael last year at the beginning of my current fitness journey to develop a regular work-out schedule. During the assessment appointment, he pointed out numerous ways I can refine my movements during exercise. He shared several suggestions on how to avoid injury and build strength. I am grateful to say that as a result, I have successfully remained healthy and succeeded in my goal to exercise consistently for over 6 months now. I can’t speak highly enough about Michael Krick. His 360 approach to health and fitness sets him above and beyond the normal personal trainer experience in this ever saturated industry. I respect his knowledge, education and foundation. He’s a true expert. Most of us are not “100% healthy” to begin with whether it be a prior injury, unhealthy lifestyle, lack of activity, stress accumulation. Michael’s personalized full health assessment creates a foundation for a successful program. I have been training with Michael Krick for 8 years. In that time he has set training programs designed specifically for me. I am more fit, sleep better, have less stress and more energy. I try to see him at his studio once a week and he goes over my entire routine and checks that my form is correct. Michael then uploads the program we have done together onto the Bridge Workout App. For the rest of the week it is on me to complete those workouts. For someone who travels for work and pleasure this set up is perfect. Michael is focusses on the holistic approach and as such during our workouts he gives me info on diet and lifestyle also. Working out at KrickFit has been a big positive.
