I would highly recommend this gym. I worked out here for almost a year before I had to move for work. Ace (the owner) is one of the most welcoming people I have met and his staff is extremely knowledgeable. They focus on the fundamentals and form which is so important to enhance your strength and add weight to your lifts. The community at Mighty is great and everyone pushes each other. I would definitely go in and experience it for yourself!

Seriously, one of the most comprehensive, supportive, fun, and well stocked CrossFit gyms around. Ace (the owner) is super knowledgeable and form/safety focused.
No D-bags dragging their knuckles here.

Went to Mighty CrossFit for the first time last week while visiting San Diego and was super impressed with both Ace the coach and the members. As a CrossFit coach from North Carolina, I was impressed with Mighty CrossFit's programming, class structure, and hands on coaching - WODs were tough but scalable for new athletes and absolutely what I needed during my week away from our box in NC. Went three times during the week and already looking forward to going back next time I'm in San Diego!

I've been coming to Mighty Crossfit for a couple of months now. Never had more fun or been more driven to train than what I feel here - the coaches are fantastic, the workouts are varied, and the people who come every day are the nicest and most supportive bunch. It's a blast every workout - can't recommend Mighty Crossfit enough

If you’re looking for down to earth, encouraging, knowledgeable, fun, and athletic people to workout with and train you, look no further than Mighty CrossFit. I thought I understood the basics of CrossFit before coming to train with Ace (owner), but he taught me, encouraged me, and pushed me every day to work on my technique and weaknesses. Coach Sam has a yoga background, which brings more focus to mobility and flexibility. With easy and convenient scheduling, I was able to come in the mornings after getting off of work, which was super important to me when choosing a gym. They offer yoga on Sundays, open gym sessions during the week, and plenty of group CrossFit classes, as well as personal training. What I loved most is how much fun I had while working out. I learned so much in just 6 months here, and since recently leaving San Diego, I miss the coaches, environment, and people already!

I have been to five different crossfit gyms in the past, all great, but Mighty definitely stands above. This is not your average gym, but a true group of friends willing to progress together and push each other's limits constantly further, this is a real family, a place where you're always happy to go and where you always feel welcomed.
Coaching is top-notch, and always trying to do what's best for the members, with the latest example being the excellent addition of weightlifting classes.

Mighty Crossfit has started offering weight lifting classes focusing on form and weight lifting. Coach Shaye Patel does a great job coaching these classes. Mighty Crossfit of course offers great crossfit training as well. It's a smaller gym with friendly people and coaches which I think is great.

Some people automatically hear CrossFit and think that’s not for them. I was like that and then I started going to Mighty CrossFit. This is a gym for anyone and everyone! If you’ve never lifted weights to being a hyper competitive athlete you’ll be happy here. The coaches really care and won’t let you do something that would cause injury it’s a wonderful community and everyone is so supportive!

Health and wellness in one’s senior years is not a given. With a little luck(good genes) and a lot of hard work it could be achieved. So when ACE CANADA floated the idea of me joining his CROSSFIT community I was intimidated and skeptical (to say the least). In my advancing youth I was thinking how on earth can I hack this very demanding workout regimen meant only for the young and the athletic. But with ACE’S gentle but persistent prodding I
took on the challenge. With his expert and watchful guidance and unending patience I slowly learned .And now a few years later and much older , I’m proud to say that from knowing nothing about the CROSSFIT concept I can now do rowing 30 minutes at a time, can now climb up and down the stairs carrying a 10 lb weight, do 100 to 120 squats and lunges .For an old hag like me that’s a milestone ! So if I can do it , anybody can do it. Forever grateful to ACE ,Sara and Andrew for the great work they do in keeping us healthy and well. More power to you guys!

I have been with Mighty for almost 3 years and it’s been the best decision ever. The coaching is superb! Ace, Sarah, and Andrew will push you (safely!) and evaluate your goals and help you get there. I’ve been a member at 3 different boxes before joining due to moving around the country and I’ve had the best results here. From proper technique, evaluating and improving your aerobic capacity, gymnastics, to proper diet they’ve got it all. But most importantly, the community is top notch. The people here are friendly and welcoming. My favorite cash out is getting pints at the brewery across the gym with everyone after a long wod.

Mighty CrossFit is an awesome gym! My friend and I have been going for the past month and Ace, Sarah and Andrew have been very helpful with us. We love the community and how everyone is really nice and the vibe just feels great every time we walk in there. My friend had no prior crossfit experience and I had very little, but Ace showed us the fundamentals and everything we needed to know in order to join the classes and I've never felt lost or like I didnt know what I was doing. The coaches have always been patient with us and also keep us motivated! Whether you have experience or not, joining Mighty will be one of the best decisions you will ever make! I definitely feel like I'm in better shape now than I was a month ago!

I am ashamed that It took me this long to write a review. Mighty has changed my life in so many positive ways. As a female and being Asian you were suppose to look a certain way, skinny thighs, no butt, petit all around. I truly can be honest with you guys.. I hated how I look for so many years. I thought I was a woman with too much of a man body type (I was told by Vietnamese/Chinese family member) I tried everything.. running, hot yoga, going to the gym and pretended I knew how to use those weird machines that could had injury me since I wasn't doing it properly. Since I became a member I had better knowledge about my fitness and nutrition, everyday is a learning experience. Mighty help me with my confidence on who I am and accepting my body as it is. The best part is the Mighty coaches, they are amazing..
coach Ace- you can see his passions from his coaching and it's always consistent. His loved with wanting to help other on their weakness really shows. I seen him do miracles with members that thought this is the end for them. From a client that pulled a muscle from throwing a ball because he has no flexibility, to doing a pull up with no problem. I also seen him help so many people lose weights that they thought would be impossible. He doesn't see any weakness in a person, he does see possibilities. He really has the patience and touch of a god. We need more coaches like him in the CF communities. He also in time is a major goofball.. it help make the class more fun.
Coach Sarah- what do you not love about her..! She driven to help members to push themselves but also be safe. She cares about their needs and will accommodate the workout if their is any movement they can't do. Her gymnastic class has help so many people do the impossible. She also has the cutest frenchie (Dunken). Sarah such an inspiration to everyone in Mighty to get better and do better.
Mighty's community- the greatest group of people you will ever meet. They're not the typical kind of CF community, they are your neighbor, nurses, doctors, lawyers, students and parents.. they are everyday people just want to come and have a great workout after a hard day.. in time yes we will drink a beer or two across the building at Bay city, and yes we do eat carbs and a couple donuts in time! But that's what make Mighty's so great.. we are all real people! Been in mighty for 5 years, and with two pregnancies and still going strong. Mighty's is my second home sweet home.

Mighty is the best! Everyone is super cool and the coaches are awesome. I have been a member for about five months and am most impressed with how well Ace and Sarah tailor workouts for each person depending on his/her ability. This methodology helps SAFELY build strength and endurance. I stared off with the woman's bar and am now using the men's bar, with weights! There are no egos at Mighty...JOIN!

There aren't enough stars for this gym and the Mighty coaches. This is coming from someone who was extremely skeptical of CF prior to starting here and I'm so grateful I did. Every class feels like personal training because Ace and Sarah are so in-tune with every members goals/abilities and will customize and modify programs to meet whatever you need. This gym is a must if you are looking for the best coaches, a welcoming, non-intimidating environment, awesome CF family, and a kick-ass workout!

Please take a change and visit Mighty! I strongly believe it is the best gym in San Diego. After moving here and searching for a gym for a few weeks (trust me, I tried A LOT of them) I finally stumbled into Mighty and never looked back. The people here are amazing and welcoming, the gym has everything you could need including a meal prep company that delivers to the gym, but Ace, the coach and owner, is what makes this place really special. He makes you feel like part of the community immediately and is such a genuine person. He is definitely a Crossfit expert and it shows in his coaching and corrections. I owe a lot of my fitness today to this gym. Definitely try it out, you won't regret it.

Was in town from NYC and got taken here by a good friend. I have been doing CF for a little more than a year and have visited some good box’s and some not so good ones. Coaching here was awesome. He had some amazing progressions that he shared and that I will take with me on my journey. Also has an all star warm up game that I also loved. The workout was top notch in terms of cardio and strength. I was going to visit Invictus but I found what I loved here. You have to visit! Nothing better than a coach dedicated to his craft! 🙏💕👍👊
