At Mind & Motion we offer a new type of fitness program that combines fitness with awareness. Think of it as a “Moving Meditation.” With guidance from your practitioner, a variety of cues are given to direct your focus to specific areas. Cues may direct focus to anatomical images, muscular sensations or a movement sequence. This holistic approach engages you more fully into the workout – creating amazing results. You will understand patterns that contribute to pain and how to work in a balanced manner. Your body will change, becoming more biomechanically sound, and aesthetically pleasing. With a greater sense of awareness, you will move with confidence, ease, and grace.

I can assure you that Mind & Motion is the best pilates studio in Los Angeles. Everything’s perfect. Teachers’ expertise, cozy vibe, small class size so that teachers can cater to your needs, welcoming atmosphere, and great customer service!
I had hip pain and diastasis recti after giving birth, and taking private classes for two months and group classes for two months pretty much resolved the pain! I didn’t know pilates could be this helpful to postpartum body. I guess to any bodies as well! I love the feeling of healing, getting stronger, and having a focused time of my own. I feel much happier and more energetic when I start my day at Mind & Motion.
All the teachers are great, but Adrienne is one-of-a-kind. I just LOVE her class. She is knowledgeable, accommodates each person’s requests so well in class, has a sense of humor, and is welcoming. She just knows how to make your body feel better and stronger.
I highly recommend Mind & Motion pilates studio who’s looking for one out there. I’m having the best pilates experience here!

I started at Mind in Motion with private sessions with Sarah while I was in physical therapy to add strength building to my recovery. Sarah is the best - so knowledgeable, flexible, and fun to work with. Now that I've gotten stronger, I asked Sarah to help me prepare to transition to the group classes, and the class instructors are just as great. I also appreciate that the studio itself has a cozy vibe and can only fit like 6-7 students per class. It helps me feel more comfortable that I can easily get help if I feel unsure about any particular movement in a class.

I found Mind and Motion while recovering from an abdominal surgery and preparing for another one. Working with Sarah one-on-one has been a game changer for my health. She is attentive to individual goals and sensitive to injuries/ specific recoveries. Sara is a master at her craft!

By far the best Pilates studio out there. I have tried so many different studios through the years but I always come back to this one. The staff truly know what they are doing. They understand the human body, injuries you may have, stretching properly while also getting the most out of a workout. I used to have some lower back issues, and I really don’t have them anymore, but when I go to other studios, I do. I can’t speak highly enough of Mind & Motion and their expertise. They really know what they are doing.

This studio truly feels like a family. The instructors are welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive, and the community of clients reflects that same positive energy. The location is convenient, with plenty of nearby parking, which makes getting to class easy.
I really appreciate the variety of classes offered—from classical to contemporary to jump flow—there’s always something new to explore. The small class sizes create a more intimate environment where you can really focus on form and feel like the instructors are paying attention to your individual needs.
Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s a wonderful environment to grow, move, and feel inspired.

This is a great studio. I can't believe how much my body and strength level has changed in a year after coming consistently twice a week. I love that I never get bored because each class is different and challenging in a new, fun way. I also love that the classes are small and that the teachers are knowledgeable and welcoming. When I was injured they worked with me to pause my membership and then when I was able to return they took extra care to give me modifications and check on me. I love the personal attention and convenience. Highly recommend!!

Mind & Motion Pilates is absolutely wonderful! The instructors truly care about you and give you all the personal attention you need to improve and feel your best. They take the time to understand your goals and always make sure you’re comfortable and supported throughout each class.
The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and so relaxing—it’s the perfect place to unwind while strengthening your body. Their customer service is excellent too; they’re always accommodating and go above and beyond to fit your schedule and make sure you have a great experience.
Every class leaves me feeling refreshed, stronger, and more centered. I couldn’t recommend Mind & Motion Pilates more highly!

I tried Pilates here for the first time about a year ago after my doctor suggested I practice Pilates to help with knee pain. The studio is small and specializes in reformer classes. The small size of the classes allows the teachers to give you individualized attention and correct your position down to where you place your little toe. For Pilates, such focus on detail is important. I continually surprise myself with the gains I have made in overall strength, flexibility, and agility (and the pain in my knee is manageable most of the time since going here). Meghan and the other teachers really know how the body works and I appreciate learning from such expert teachers who obviously love what they do. The people are friendly and welcoming to everyone at any level and any age. This studio has helped me to become stronger and feel healthier. I hope to practice Pilates for life thanks to Meghan and her excellent instructors.

I have been coming to this studio for two years now, averaging three times a week. It's the most consistent exercise I've probably undertaken since high school, and it's due largely to the atmosphere and community the owner Meghan has cultivated. I look forward to going to class (the largest a class can be is 5 people, so you get plenty of individual instruction), and have noticed a difference in both my mind and body. I can't recommend it enough.

Mehgan has really made a difference in the way I feel! I was looking for a place to help me recover after abdominal surgery and I wanted someone who knew anatomy; Mehgan has studied how the body works and knows how to apply her knowledge to your unique situation. She has picked her instructors carefully and I feel comfortable taking class from anyone here. The studio is small, only 5 reformers, and the teachers pay attention and make sure you are doing the movements correctly. I love the individual attention.

I liked that the studio was small and intimate. They sell you small classes for more individualized attention but the latter never happened for me. I went for a free introductory class. Never took pilates so thought this would help as I was a true beginner. I was in a class with a couple others who had slightly more exposure; felt the instructor gave them more attention and I was written off b/c I was truly new. I felt that there was this elitist vibe which was disappointing. I am sure it is great for those more experienced but definitely wouldn't recommend this place to beginners. I liked the concept of Pilates but most likely not returning here. Pilates studios are a dime a dozen in LA, I'm sure I'll find my spot somewhere.

All of the teachers at Mind and Motion are fantastic: extremely knowledgeable and extremely kind. The founder and owner has a Master's in Kinesiology as well as Pilates certification and this gives her an extra breadth of knowledge which she uses to help people with specific injuries or health challenges. Mind and Motion is not merely a workout studio; it is a place that teaches you to use Pilates to improve your physical and mental health.
