I am a 64 year old male. Prior to joining Mint I was in reasonable shape (170 lbs, 6'0"), hiking regularly in the Santa Cruz hills. When I was younger I could do many (15+) pull-ups, but when I by chance went to a fitness circuit I realized I couldn't do a single pull-up! So in order to increase my strength I joined the program. My coach, Kyle, is fantastic. The training sessions are 1 hour in length, twice weekly. During the original testing (to determine my fitness level) what surprised me was how much my balance had deteriorated since my mid-fifties! Another surprise was the relative lack of strength in my left elbow that I had injured in my youth. I've been in the program now for 3 months and the increase in muscle mass is evident. (One thing that also surprised me is that after the first month I didn't seem to be putting on muscle mass, even though I felt stronger -- after reading some scientific literature I wondered if I needed more protein and creatine . . . in short, once I daily added more protein and 5 g of creatine I definitely started to put on more muscle mass.) The diversity of exercises we do create overall strength, especially core. Yesterday I was tested for how long I could do a plank: 2.5 minutes! Not bad for 64.
The only downside of the program is the expense -- it is not cheap. But, as is often the case, you get what you pay for -- and Mint provides premium services (coaching/training) and facilities for what might be considered to be a premium price. But my health is definitely worth it!
Mint has succeeded in building a positive and fun community feeling, thanks largely to all of the fantastic staff.

After years of being out of shape, I started looking for a fitness program and found Mint. I was drawn to the semi-private sessions with a coach. I meet with my coach, Chante, twice a week. Chante walks me through my strength exercises and helps me with proper form. During my sessions, we also focus on endurance, stretching, and setting goals to stay active outside of Mint. After our early morning sessions, I always feel better, more energetic, and ready to tackle my workday. I’ve also met with Haley, Mint’s nutrition coach, via Zoom calls and she’s helped me to create, adjust and maintain healthier eating habits. Chante, Haley and the other coaches who I’ve worked with are all attentive and caring professionals and are committed to help you succeed. Fitness will always be a work in progress for me, but being with Mint these last 3 years, my core strength is much better, the aches in my back and hip are gone, I am now doing 1 hour Zumba classes again, I can go on long walking/hiking tours, and I have confidence in my fitness to try new activities. My wife and I are over 70 years old. We realized we lacked exercise and noticed that our physical strength needed a boost. Fortunately my son found the perfect place that suited our needs - Mint Condition Fitness. It is a well-established, fully equipped gym with professional coaches creating programs for each individual.
We really feel stronger and our posture is better than before. Every session our coach Chante follows my training program and adjusts my body position, providing detailed explanations. Also Mint tests our body improvements every month to fine tune our program.
We also were surprised that they offer all kinds of health seminars. No doubt Mint Condition Fitness is a wonderful place to help people to get healthy lives.

I started training with Mint fitness several weeks ago after a hiatus in my workout routine of several years. I have nothing but praise for the whole setup. The equipment is appropriate and very well laid out, with technology suited to their clients. The assessment is very thorough and the workout is tailored to your needs and abilities. The trainers are not only friendly, but are knowledgeable and very professional. I can highly recommend them, you will start to see and feel results quicker than you might expect.

My husband and I felt we really needed to get back in shape and we weren't getting any younger. The program for those over 55 years old offered at Mint sounded like what we were looking for. In 2 months, we already feel healthier and stronger. We have applied what we have learned and, with our new strength, we were able to help do heavy lifting and moving of large and heavy boxes of books. We did it without any problems! We are really seeing a difference quickly, and look forward to meeting our goals we have laid out for ourselves. The plans, staff and equipment are helping us make it happen.

5/16/2025 Update:
I've been a member of Mint Condition Fitness for 2.5 years. My first year was really good—I had a goal of getting back on my bike for recreation, and my workout program was customized to support that. I felt big improvements in strength, balance, and stamina. A year later, after a shoulder injury (unrelated to the gym), I had to pause (twice) for surgery and recovery. When I returned the team was very supportive, adjusting my workout program as needed. I'm now back and progressing again, even if a bit slower. My coach, Michelle, has been encouraging every step of the way. If you're looking to start a fitness routine but don’t know where to begin, Mint offers friendly, non-judgmental coaching that meets you where you are.
2-years ago - Mint Condition Fitness was a great find for me. I’ve been to the usual gyms in the past, didn’t really know what to do to help myself, got some personal training from people who were uninterested, didn’t really take my history or current condition into account and I ended up hurting or not really knowing how to proceed. Mint Condition Fitness BEGINS with your history, your condition, your goals. They are very approachable, understanding, friendly. As a 62-yo, out of shape, wanting to get started on improving myself, normally not open to presenting myself like that to anyone, much less people who work at a fitness studio, I felt very comfortable in every way. I was evaluated and introduced to Coach Michelle. She is so supportive and encouraging. Works with me on every strength or flexibility exercise. Explaining, watching my form, making sure I don’t injure myself. It’s generally a group of 2 or 3 people and Michelle engages with each of us throughout our workouts, checking our programs, where we’re at, how we’re feeling. She’s more than happy to time my planks (or some other torturous task!). After 4 weeks a new program appeared, to build upon what I had accomplished so far. It’s steady, but not slow. I had doubts as to what I could do, but I could do almost all of it. My initial goal was to be able to gain strength and stamina so I feel better, have more energy, get back on my bike, and I’ve done that. My next goal is to actually ride my bike to the gym, workout, and ride home! I’m confident after a few more weeks I’ll be able to do that too.

I found Mint Condition about three months ago after trying out different products to help me lose weight from cancer treatments and hormone suppression meds. I was drawn to their specialization on clients in my age group. What I love most is how they customize their programs and make adjustments to fit my specific needs. They track progress on the goals I set for myself with state-of-the-art equipment. Plus, they keep me motivated with regular check-ins, newsletters, fun blogs, and tasty recipes. All the Difference in the World! I came to Mint Condition Fitness after seeing a clear decline in my strength and flexibility over the past three years. I was intrigued to first learn of their specialization in my age group. From the very first conversations, the team asked probing questions to understand my goals and needs. The environment is warm, welcoming and vital. You experience the structures, expert program design and progression in action. I see unmistakably how my program is designed specifically to what was shared in previous conversations.
Completing 3 months, I can say that the tactile, physical, weakness, my identified goals, are being directly addressed. I feel clear overall improvement in my health and know that is made possible by the deep skill, expertise and instruction provided by Mint Condition Fitness. My Trainer, Kyle is where the rubber hits the road and I can't be more happy with his ability to impart his expert knowledge and train skills for safe, effective strength building. I joined Mint nearly a year ago as I sought to improve my overall fitness, especially my functional strength. The atmosphere at the gym has been encouraging, supportive, and fun! Michelle is my trainer and she really listens to my goals and assists my progress. I started working out at Mint Fitness with my physical trainer, Mitchell early this year and really love the experience. It’s a spacious , neat and friendly studio with a ton of equipment. Mitchell is very knowledgeable and encouraging. I feel very safe working out with her as she understands my limitations well and knows how to push me to achieve my goals without making me feel overwhelmed. I am happy with the progress I have made in my body strength and posture with her and that keeps me motivated to continue working out at this amazing fitness studio.
Just adding few more accomplishments to my journey at Mint Condition Fitness. I know take advantage of the cardio sessions and I am training for a long hike that I signed up for in mid 2025. I am happy with the endurance I am building due to my well planned workouts here at Mint by Mitchell. I also get nutrition advice and feel good about my upper body strength so I can carry my backpack on the hike.

I joined Mint in April 2024 and began working out twice a week with Coach Kyle. Before I signed up with Mint my health was not the best, I lacked physical confidence, my balance and posture wasn't great and my joints were hurting due to lack of strength training.
(I used to work out a lot when I was younger: swimming (1-2 miles), biking (many times at least 75 miles per ride), jogging (many times 6-9 miles each time), hiking (a lot of long hikes through the years) and other sports. Life happened and I had let go of a lot of those sports.)
One of the reasons I joined Mint is that I wanted someone I had to be accountable to and who would increasingly and safely challenge me. Since I joined in April and the weeks click by, Kyle changes up my routine every month and challenges me a little more each time. My strength & confidence have increased, my joints no longer hurt and my posture has improved. In Sept 2024, much to my surprise, I was informed that I had been selected as Member of the Month! They were acknowledging that I had been putting in a lot of effort to improve my strength and overall fitness. I still have a ways to go to meet my goals, and I am meeting those goals one day at a time, one workout at a time. I'm really glad I joined and am taking care of myself in this way. I'm proud of my progress thus far.
The staff is friendly and always available to answer any questions I might have. I look forward to continuing getting stronger and meeting more goals. I would recommend Mint to anyone who is looking to join a gym with supportive and informative staff by your side.

I joined Mint in Jan 2024 when I hit an absolute low point on my health and fitness and was hopeless. Being a busy tech executive, a mother of a teenager and I let life take over and had ignored my health for years. As a result, I was morbidly obese, barely able to walk 100 steps without losing my breath, could barely take a few stairs or even stand for more than 15 mins. I wanted to finally stop procrastinating and take control of my health and life again. Tried several methods only to see the weight come back or strength deteriorate further. The struggle for me was finding the right gym and a personal trainer. I have been to several before finalizing MInt and every other place left me feeling overwhelmed and even intimidated. I realized I cannot go to a run-of-the-mill gym where some 30 people are running on treadmills and I was struggling to even move. I researched and found Mint Condition Fitness and what caught my attention was their philosophy and focus on middle aged and active adults. I am so thankful I found them! I started at the beginning of Jan 2024 and the people and the experience at Mint Condition have been wonderful! The initial meeting with Brad was very thorough. Brad really took the time to discuss my goals, answer questions, and complete a full health & fitness evaluation. Hannah and Mimi at the front desk have always been very friendly and able to answer any questions.
The best though is my personal trainer Kyle. I can't say enough good things about Kyle!! He customized a workout plan for me that met me where I was taking into account my limitations and strengths. Over the months, my strength increased, weight dropped and my functionality improved drastically. Kyle has been a trusted partner, a friend and a coach that was understanding and encouraging. He is kind, yet pushy and would nudge you gently to do your best. I have nothing but gratitude for him and Mint. I feel so much better overall and can see so many improvements in my health and lifestyle. I have a more positive mindset and approach towards my fitness. l so look forward to my sessions and always feel a sense of accomplishment after each one! I have seen some real results in the few months I have been here. Lost 15 lbs and most of it was fat. The periodic SECA and data driven tracking helps me stay on top of my progress towards the goals. 2024 Update:
I continue to be grateful for Mint's role in my journey towards the person I aspire to be. The coaches continue to be top-notch and the environment supportive of change & growth (facility, staff, vibe...)I love the mobility that a more-agile me has to explore life and help ward off the inevitable aging process... Especially helpful for me is that my fitness program is still tailored to my body's needs and my personal objectives, as they change over time. And Mint continues to work for me; I have never been in better shape. And if it helps me be more healthy for longer in this life, then that's a most worthy goal. In fact, dare I say, a regular fitness program could the best anti-aging solution there is?

I have been working out at Mint in downtown Los Gatos for a couple of years now and have found the experience to be enjoyable, rewarding, and just right for what I want and need.
I like that your coach will partner with you to identify your fitness goals, develop a realistic plan to achieve these goals, track progress and then update your regimen as milestones are reached.
Mint has a holistic approach to fitness, including diet, and a typical workout is a blend of training approaches (e.g., aerobic, strength, HIIT...) I choose to work out in a small group of 1-2 others, but private 1-on-1 sessions are available as well. Whether solo or with your small team, the vibe is one of support and camaraderie.
But the best aspect of Mint are the coaches. They are a group knowledgeable and personable men and women that really know how to help me get to where I want to be, without any of the swagger or bravado that is often associated with “gyms.” My trainer, Max, is a good example of the talent at Mint. He is very experienced and motivational, but knows when I’m reaching my limits, even if I’m not aware of it. His humor and overall nice-guy-ness makes working out fun, not a chore, which is just what I need.
In summary: nice facility, effective training programs and great people make Mint my fitness place.

I am officially addicted to MCF now! I joined Feb 2024. I just don't feel good if I don't show up regularly. Being data-driven (duh - silicon valley!), I love how MCF quantifies your progress! Monthly SECA checkups and quarterly PNOE results.
The staff is super friendly and my trainer, Michelle, is so devoted and involved in my growth and my goals!
My journey here has not be smooth. I had a couple of injuries from the workout but I refused to quit. Michelle, my trainer, told me to get it checked with the doctor and not ignore. I listened and was advised some rest and put on medical leave. I recovered and came back wiser :-) I can feel the muscles in my arms and legs and abdomen now. I thought God forgot to put them in my body when he made me!! LOL! My second PNOE results showed improvements everywhere!
The price can be off-putting but you get more than what you pay for. At least 8 personal trainer sessions per month, Red light therapy, Compression, Cardio equipment and a nutritionist! Totally worth the price you pay! Highly recommend this place.

I joined Mint in early January because I had stopped strength training for about 4 months after I became dissatisfied with the place I was receiving training. It was expensive, and only once a week, and there was no variety in the workout or other people to train with. I wanted to find a gym where I could work out with a personal trainer who knows how to support my fitness needs -- not only just building muscle, but understands how and why I move a certain way, and what to correct to prevent injury and maintain good balance and mobility.
There are so many reasons why I like Mint -- I can work out consistently 2 times a week, at a reasonable fee, and they are flexible if I need to change times due to frequent travel and work. In addition to that, my coach is great, and creates a new program for me every few weeks so I don't get bored, yet I'm still focusing on specific fitness and muscle goals. The lessons are semi-private, meaning there will be 2-3 people per session, everyone working on their own program, except how we open and close the sessions, with some group warm-ups and a cardio WOW at the end. The gym is big, yet 'cozy' and everyone knows me, and each other -- very much a community. There's consistent ways to track your progress and frequent check-ins against goals. It is a solution that is working for me and has become an important part of my life. If you are looking for partnership and accountability for meeting your health goals, you need to join Mint!

Updated 3/20/24: Since my last review in the spring of 2023, I have transitioned to the semi-private training 2x a week. I have several goals I want to achieve, primarily increasing my strength and mobility. I especially want to increase my upper body strength so that I can effectively hold a plank, do mountain climbers and assisted pull ups. The coaching I have received since July 2023 has been focused on helping me achieve these goals and I have made tremendous progress. I am able to lift heavier weights and my endurance has increased greatly. I am also able to hold a plank for up to 60 seconds which is a huge improvement for me!
Mint also offers weekly SECA analysis that allows me to track my weight loss, lean muscle mass and adipose fat percentages along with other measures. This has helped me work with my trainer Michelle to adjust my training plans to focus on my goals.
I recently took the PNOE test that measured my metabolic, performance, and biological age factors and I was pleasantly surprised by the results, which I attribute to the excellent coaching and training I receive at Mint. I highly recommend anyone wanting to dial in to their fitness, mobility, and longevity goals to give Mint Condition a try.
I started taking Saturday morning group classes with Michelle in November and have really seen and felt a difference in my strength, mobility, and cardio conditioning. The sessions are 45 minutes long but between the group camaraderie and Michelle’s expert coaching, the session flies by. Michelle is great at suggesting modifications based on everyone’s fitness level and ability. I especially like that we dedicate 8 weeks for each circuit so I have the opportunity to learn, perfect, and see improvement over the course of several weeks. I really enjoy working out at Mint Condition and look forward to all my weekly sessions with Michelle.

I had gained some weight over the last few years and started taking cholesterol medication. I wanted to finally stop procrastinating and take control of my health again. What made it worse was I broke my foot and couldn’t do much exercise for several months. I had heard about Mint Condition Fitness on my neighborhood Nextdoor group and I am so thankful I did! Since 2012, the fantastic team at Mint Condition Fitness has been instrumental in my fitness success. Starting at 250 pounds with not much strength, my trainers guided me to a current 164. In particular, Max continues to challenge me physically and mentally.
The personalized programs and flexibility of remote training have made exercise a top priority. As a Junior High teacher, keeping up the fitness regimen remains paramount. I am beyond grateful to Max, Hanna, and the entire Mint family for always pushing me towards greatness.
Incorporating more protein and the ease of completing my workouts at home has yielded the latest SECA data:
Fat Mass is down 1.5 lbs. making my lowest percent to date at 10.82.

I started with Mint in June 2023. I primarily work with Sean who is responsible for writing up my workout plans. I also work with Kyle and Mark when my schedule gets crazy and I cannot get in a session with Sean. I have gotten great experiences with all of them. I have been a Mint member for almost a year and I cannot say enough good things about the amazing staff, the approach to fitness, and the beautiful facility. I started out at Mint about 6 months ago, and so far I’ve had the best experience I ever had when it comes to exercising in a gym. The staff is super friendly and motivating, and the overall atmosphere is great. I’ve been under Kyle’s guidance as my trainer since I started and I really appreciate how mindful of my fitness goals he is and just how well he caters our programs to them so I can get the most out of them. He also frequently checks in on my progress and gives very helpful advice on anything ranging from general nutrition to sleep patterns whenever I feel like I am in a slump. Hanna and Bradley are also always very helpful when it comes to general questions about membership and other program options, always look to give everyone the best experience they can and very much look forward to improve it even more.

I originally came to Mint to explore the idea of private training , it turns out it is something that fits my life style. I like to travel and play golf multiple times per week so I needed knowledgeable coaches to help me figure out how to train my mobility, strength, balance, while losing some weight and staying accountable.
I've particularly enjoyed the private, small group atmosphere where I work with my coach Max who is the best! He is dedicated, professional, and really listens to me and makes sure I am working toward my goals. I started at Mint Condition Fitness over 8 months ago after having a full hip replacement. I went through 3 months of physical therapy but found it did not add much value. I was feeling like I was losing overall mobility and strength and knew something had to change! Mint has been a positive change in my life. I realized on day one that Mint was very different from a traditional gym. The staff is truly invested in my healing and wellness and care about me as a person. My initial couple of sessions was with Max, who was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Max creates a workout for me every 2 weeks that meets my specific needs and includes stretching, balance and strength building. The progress is very evident at a comfortable pace for me. Mint Condition is THE VERY BEST!!! It is all personal training, but you are in a max group of 3, where each person is at their own level, doing individualized workouts set specifically for them. I wasn’t sure how that was going to work out, but the trainers are all so smooth in transitioning each person into their next set of exercises and you’re never left waiting to know what to do next. What I love most is the extremely high quality of all the trainers. Last year, I started noticing that my balance, strength and mobility were all declining. It seemed like I kept falling and injuring myself. I just felt old. I noticed that one of my friends moved like she was always comfortable—like she was 10 years younger than either of us actually are. I wanted to feel the way she looked! Having been an athlete in college and very active during my twenties, my recent pattern in the gym was very similar to others I've spoken with. Go to gym, after about six seeks or so, decide to push it a bit more, get some kind of injury, have to stop, months later come back and do it all again. Over and over. Mint Condition has broken that pattern for me. Their approach of practical fitness (as opposed to growing big muscles for looks) has improved my balance, flexibility, and practical strength. One of the best side effects is that my plantar fasciitis has been cured! No more inserts for me. I've been going there over two years now, and no injuries, just steady progress. If you are interested in fitness, and especially if you are over 40, you should really check them out.

Initially I joined Mint Condition because of their proximity to my house and the convenience to go for a workout before work starts in the morning. What I liked the most in my 1 year experience, in addition to getting a good and regular workout, is the connection that everyone at Mint has with people in understanding every one's specific needs and helping out. Max is a great trainer and pays a lot of attention to your form and its correctness. Hanna is always there to listen and make sure that things are comfortable, and the overall experience is the best it can be. It's always easy to start going to the gym with a good motivation, but staying motivated and wanting to go regularly for a long time is hard. After walking past Mint Condition Fitness for almost a decade, I stopped in one day to get some information. The staff was truly amazing (no pressure at all and very informative). I explained my concerns and goals in beginning a workout program and Andrew answered all my questions and made it unbelievably easy to try a 30 day workout routine and see if it met my expectations. I was paired with Max, who coincidentally had a volleyball background that aligned with my interests and goals. I am now over 90 days in and and the experience has been entirely positive. My program is tailored toward my personal goals and seemingly everybody's workout is designed specifically for them. After 30+ years of working out off and on, it is nice to show up and know that the time I am spending with Max is specific to my needs. This is a completely different experience than the old days of spending 90 minutes in the gym and not really knowing what I should be lifting and if I am doing it properly. My workouts with Max last under an hour per session and I have seen much better results than when I was spending twice the time working out on my own. One other thing to note is you can get a monthly check in/reading to see your progression and they provide guidance on regulating your calories to best meet your desired result; this is something I have never been good at in the past. The combination of exercise, weight training, diet and commitment have resulted in exceeding my goals in a much shorter time than expected. Everyone is different and your results may vary but I am happy to have made the commitment to working out and am stoked to be training with Max. One last comment is the vibe there is very low key and positive; a truly welcoming atmosphere and Hanna always has a smiling face when you walk through the door...a great way to start the day!

I was encouraged to join a gym by my children. Researching gyms in the Saratoga-Los Gatos area, I found Mint Condition Fitness and I couldn’t be happier, thrilled, in fact! In the past I’ve paid for gym memberships but seldom, if ever, showed up. I came to the realization that I am not self-motivated, and a personal trainer would be my best option.
I set an appointment with Mint Condition Fitness and when I arrived, I was greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile from Hannah! I then met with Andrew, who went over the membership plans available. Andrew was informative, professional, and not at all pushy! I found this refreshing. It was a big decision, but I decided to take the big step! I was overweight and out of shape and I owed it to myself to get in the best physical shape I can be at my age. I decided on six training sessions per month for six months.
On my first visit, Bradley evaluated my strengths and weaknesses, along with my goals and set a training program to help me reach my goals. From the beginning, I felt in very competent hands at MCF! The professionalism, education and fitness proficiency and training of the MCF staff was a welcome difference from the other gyms.
I can’t say enough good things about my Personal Trainer, Sean. He is always positive, patient and encouraging! He is, quite frankly, amazing and one of many reasons I look forward to coming to my workouts! His positive attitude and belief in me are greatly appreciated and has helped to keep me motivated. I haven’t missed a single workout in six months. I am very proud of myself and can’t thank Sean enough. He patiently helps me to do my workouts using the correct form to get the best out of my workouts and not injure myself. My neck and hip have given me trouble for the past decade. Sean works with me to adjust my workouts, so I don’t aggravate those areas. Since working with Sean, I have become stronger, have more muscle tone and the pain in my hip and neck have improved. As a bonus, I have lost 14 pounds!

He was very careful in trying to understand how much he could push me while ensuring I was making progress. My program keeps evolving to ensure I strengthen my knee, but it also holistically focuses on my whole body. I have been a Mint member (on and off!) for the last 10 years, and I've been going there regularly since November 2021 for the semi-private sessions. I cannot say enough great things about the gym, about the trainers and the rest of the staff. The trainers really pay attention to your individual needs/ goals when they build the program for you. And during the session, they play close attention to your form and make sure you get the most out of the workouts. It's a fun, supportive environment and I could not be happier. After my doctor recommended to see a fitness trainer to help with my lower back pain, I joined Mint Condition Fitness a month ago a couldn't have been happier. There are 1 on 1 sessions as well as group classes and I have enrolled in both and they are fantastic.
The group classes are fun to be in. Michelle is an experienced and professional fitness trainer, and her classes are focused mainly on building strength and endurance. After just a span of 6 weeks, I can see changes in my flexibility and strength.
The 1 on 1 sessions are geared towards my personal health goals and fitness levels. I was so happy to get back to my gym after Covid mask requirements were lifted. Oh how I missed my twice weekly workouts. I was assigned a new trainer by the name of Coach Michelle Bradshaw and we started back to establish our new normal. Nothing says "You are getting a bit doughy" like a gift certificate for a month of personal training. Honestly, I did feel like an out of shape, shaggy, lumpy mass. Well, I can take a hint, so I signed up at Mint.
I was impressed at how thorough the initial assessment was, one on one sessions that worked through my "body mechanics," past injuries, my goals and pointed out some weird vestibular issues that have all gotten so much better. They also have a magic machine put numbers to my out-of-shapeness. Even though my goal was to get stronger and lose weight, I also could track the areas that improved or stayed the same. My trainers have been awesome about coaching me through what to work on, how to do the exercises the right way to avoid injuries.
I will say that my journey wasn't without hiccups, the pandemic closed things down and Mint moved to an online format which was organized and thoughtful. . With limited workout equipment at home and a pandemic baking hobby, I was still much more active but I wasn't losing much weight. When things started to open up, I went back in person only briefly until I got injured kayaking. (I blame the duck!).
After being back in person again now, for a few months, going once a week felt like I was coasting in maintenance mode and I finally started wanting to see Results, with a capital R. I shifted to twice a week. They accommodated my not so busy schedule. I do small the group sessions where you get to meet some awesome people on their fitness journeys.
Every few weeks my custom program changes to focus on improving the thing I need to work on more, or want to work on more, and to keep a whole-body regimen, building strength, endurance, and flexibility. They have a ton of equipment but it's not all about the weights. There are a lot of times when I'm getting a challenging workout just using my body weight and focusing on the proper form.
The team at Mint are professional, sincere, compassionate, respectful, and, to be honest, pretty chill. Everything I've seen shows that they want the best for people like me and want to see them become their best selves and live their best lives. Don't get me wrong my trainer pushes me, but there is no judgment or dismissiveness in any way ever. He's all about positive support and reinforcement, and doing the work.
Since starting to go twice per week I'm down 15 pounds, gained some muscle mass, can run a 2.5 mile trail run in twenty five minutes from barely being able to run 1 mile. Most of all, I feel great and I've said goodbye to that doughy dad-bod and hello to some buff pastry.

Covid and other factors had contributed to some weight gain and muscle loss, and I was looking for a way to return to fitness and prioritizing good nutrition a part of my daily life. I had the ambition but needed the right partner.
Mint has been a perfect fit for my needs. After a wholistic assessment that included the use of their state-of-the-art SECA body composition analyzer, together with my trainer I set goals and put together a complementary nutrition plan. Going to the gym and exercising has been part of my routine for many many years. However the big wrench got thrown into the works when Covid hit and gyms closed. I moved out to the garage and bought some equipment but it wasn’t the same. So I started to look at options. Of course I knew I could always go back to the gym but I was looking for a routine that is specific to me in my needs with consideration with some issues I’ve gathered with age such as a ruptured disc in my spine. I came in and got a full diagnostic exam by Bradley and then based upon my goals and a customized routine developed for me. Sean has been my coach and it’s really been the experience with the depth, diversity and structure that I wanted. He thoughtfully guides, motivates and instructs me through a myriad of different exercises.
I’ve always been a student and open to listen and learn but after decades of exercising I wasn’t expected to learn anything new. The reality is I’m surprised by how little I actually knew. I have to say that all the staff is great, strict Covid protocols, and a warm and accommodating atmosphere.

Hi, I am so utterly impressed by Mint Condition Fitness. It all started when I called to find out more of the program. The gentleman listened intently in order to determine my individual needs. From there, Hanna helped me schedule an appointment for an evaluation.
Next I met Bradley who walked me through the most thorough evaluation I could imagine. This gave me great confidence and trust in the program. I could see they were individualizing the program to meet my needs specifically. Within the next couple days, I was surprised by a nice gift with tools needed to succeed! What a nice surprise.
Next I was scheduled to train with my new trainer, Jenn Chia. Words can hardly express her level of professionalism, compassion and skill. All of our sessions were done over Zoom due to the pandemic, yet she was able to sense if I was having pain or compensating in my movements. She would quickly change the exercise to one that didn't cause me pain. My favorite aspect of the many things I love about Jenn was her ability not to judge. With COVID in March it became more important to stay focused on exercise to maintain a healthy life style. I'm one of the younger people at mint, being 15 and all. And throughout working out here on and off for a few years I have only had positive experiences. A few years ago I left mint for awhile, only because of time management issues and school. But with quarantine and everything, I have rejoined. They're incredibly motivating and help you get out of bed in the morning to work out instead of sleeping in. After a total hip replacement, ongoing osteoarthritis pain in my shoulder and taking ibuprofen daily, I saw an ad for “in home remote training” with Mint Condition Fitness. I knew I needed to get “moving again”, however I was fearful. I did not trust my body (especially my hip) and I was in constant pain.
I reached out to Mint Condition Fitness and began “shelter in place” remote training in my home. The professionals at Mint Condition Fitness have put me “back into the game” of life!
From my living room, my fitness world has turned around! I AM moving again! I am no longer limited by pain and fear. I started working out at Mint Condition after the shelter-in-place order closed my gym. As a "group exerciser" I was worried that I would not be able to maintain my fitness level working out by myself at home, so after a conversation with Colin, I thought why not give Mint's remote Zoom-based training a try. The experience surpassed my expectations. I have enjoyed my sessions with Jenn, and the follow-up with Bradley to make sure that I was not just maintaining, but progressing and improving my strength and on the physical imbalances I had "learned to live with." The remote coaching experience has been excellent. I feel that I did not miss a beat with my exercise program. I am thankful to Mint that I could continue with the training sessions in spite of the "shelter in place" period.
Max is doing an excellent job in training me online. He is watchful and corrects me when I am making a mistake. I feel that I am progressing at a good pace.
At first, I was skeptical because I was concerned that the remote experience might not work well for me. But to my surprise, it has been excellent because the coach has to be even more focused to make sure that I am doing the exercises correctly. I feel that I am getting a great workout every single time.
If you have minimal exercise accessories at home (stretch bands and weights) and a device with a decent camera, I would suggest not to waste time but to get on with the program.
If Mint provides the option, I might consider exercising from home for part of my sessions even after the "shelter in place" is lifted. Thanks to Max for providing a great experience.

Game changer. When I started at Mint over a year and a half ago, I was in a low spot physically and mentally. I've consistently gotten stronger and gained confidence, losing over 20lbs while putting on quite a bit of muscle. I'm a high altitude climber and finally reached lifelong goals of climbing the 12th and 13th highest peaks in the world without using oxygen. And this winter, when I was caught alone in 100+ mph winds two days of downclimbing to safety, it was the recent functional strength gains I made with Max that helped keep me alive. Buy into the system...it works. Con: It's expensive especially when you keep having to buy new clothes.

- I originally came to Mint after my meniscus repair surgery. I had some major weight gain previously from a side effect of an anti depressant and that was exasperated by 6 weeks of no mobility. I also wanted to rebuild my right leg due to atrophy.
- I really like how warm the environment is. Everyone is super friendly and non competitive which has been an issue in the past at other gyms. I also like how adaptable and flexible the workouts are and the degree of knowledge each trainer has to come up with solutions.
-I feel a lot stronger without feeling bulky which has been an issue in the past when I seriously lifted weights. My flexibility is back and range of motion in my back and knee have also improved (yay!)
- I would definitely recommend Mint because it is personalized and low pressure. It’s an accommodating gym where the pressure and competition is low. The trainers and staff all are very caring and make you feel welcome. Also, the workouts are personalized and easily modified for the day or if something doesn’t sit right.

This is my second time at Mint, and my first time with Coach Jeremy. He encourages me and coaches me. He doesn't give me fake praise when it is obvious that I am not putting in all my effort, but he does give me the positive reinforcement I need to keep going! Jeremy keeps me from getting distracted during my workout and his positive personality keeps me coming in to my workouts in the first place! I decided to come back to Mint through their 28 day Rejuvenation Program at the start of the year and ended up signing up for a full membership. I saw the numbers on the scale creeping up and I saw that I was losing muscle tone. I knew at the age of 55 it wasn't going to get easier, and bloodwork showed I had pre-diabetic glucose levels. All this told me it was time to make a change.
Since starting my program, my hydration has massively improved and I've gained muscle and lost fat! Past that though, I've achieved a sense of knowing it's not too late, I'm not too old, and I can do this! It makes me feel confident and proud that I can be committed to myself while still doing what I love to do most...being a mom. I'm usually committed to others so it is nice to have this for me.
If you are in a funk this is a great place to find the motivation to keep going, you will achieve something and it will make you feel better. It will pick you up and give you more confidence! But, as a mom, I would say that for all you other moms out there remember that it's okay to be committed to yourself as well. Invest in your health, like I did, and you'll feel better about yourself and you'll see the positive changes in all aspects of your life!

I have been a member of MCF for a few months. I had not exercised for a few years and was recovering from knee injury and frozen shoulder. I have found the staff and trainers to be very friendly and knowledgeable. As I walk in, I feel like I am at home. My Coach, Garrett is fun and motivates me to do more. Bradley keeps me on track to reach my goals with a monthly meeting. Hanna and Daryen in front are helpful and smiling. I have never been a fan of exercise! After decades of sitting at a desk and commuting in Silicon Valley traffic, I was really out of shape and working out at a traditional gym just wasn't helping. So a year ago I joined Mint Condition Fitness and that all changed. I got stronger and more flexible, improved my cardio fitness level, and lost 15 pounds.
At Mint, nothing is cookie cutter. Every workout is customized to you and the coaches watch like hawks to keep you injury free and ensure you're getting the most out of the workouts. The coaches know when to encourage you to do more and when to help you correct bad habits.
Today, I can happily do things like go for a strenuous 18-mile hike, lift heavy boxes, run up stairs without gasping for breath, fit into all my clothes. These were all things I couldn't do a year ago. I can thank Mint for this and for the many, many other ways being fit makes my life just a lot better overall.

I just celebrated my 1 year anniversary with Mint. I never liked gyms before, but I started coming because I knew I needed to do something to change my lifestyle. I was strong, but I was KLUTZY strong. I needed to work on my balance and flexibility, so I could keep enjoying horseback riding without getting injured. I've been coming consistently 3 or 4 times a week and look forward to it every time! Everything has improved so dramatically -- my flexibility, my balance, my strength and energy. I'm constantly amazed at what my coach comes up with for me to do! It's never boring, I'm surprised that my body can do them, but if Coach Brandon thinks I can, then I trust his belief in me. I've been at Mint Condition Fitness (MCF) for just over a year and it is hands down the best thing I've ever done for myself. If you want to feel great, you should consider MCF. They have something very special there. As soon as I walk through the door (always with a warm welcome, ususally by Hanna or Daryen), I know I'm right where I should be. I'm not a gym person at all, but I really love the workouts that are tailored to your abilities with just the right amount of challenge to drive progress. I mostly do semi-private lessons (1-3 people) and usually one group bootcamp a week which is lots of fun, but self-regulated so accommodates all fitness levels. MCF is lower pressure, but somehow manages to inspire its members, myself included, and bring out the best in us. I would go every day if I could…and sometimes I do! They work on body and mind (with weekly inspirational quotes and monthly 1x1 check in's and goal setting) and nutrition (with a plan tailored to your specific needs) and help address any physical challenges you may have (shoulder pain, heel pain, back issues, balance problems – they have a solution for it). The folks at MCF truly support the WHOLE person and help me be the best for everyone who depends on me: my husband, our daughter, friends, and colleagues.
All of the coaches at MCF are superb; they’re friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I’m lucky enough to work mostly with Coach GARRETT NELMS. Garrett is a natural motivator and keeps me on track and focused. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Somehow he knows exactly what I need to push myself a bit more. He anticipates my needs and my progress and makes adjustments to help keep me motivated. I travel a lot with my job and Garrett adjusts accordingly and doesn’t’ hesitate to create a custom “on the road” plan for me so I can keep up my MCF routine from the hotel. I always leave Garrett feeling like a better version of myself – which carries on throughout the rest of my date. Every part of my life is better because of the MCF community and Garrett. I love MCF and Coach Garrett so much that I just signed up for another 18 months!

I visited Mint for the first time last year and I was really surprised at how welcoming everyone was. I felt comfortable from day one.
In similar Environments you might feel pressured, as if a car salesman is after you. Here I really felt the staff were truly interested in helping educate and not overdoing it when it comes to pushing you to your highest ability.
The place is clean as a whistle which I can really appreciate and you couldn’t ask for more variety when it comes to equipment/options.
FUN is a good word for this gym as the staff are committed to your success but having fun all the while.

I’m new to Mint Condition, a member just over two months. I am a very active athlete and runner who had not run for a couple years due to knee surgery. I joined the early morning boot camp to workout with friends… I stayed because of Brandon’s energy. He is the real deal, professional, knowledgeable and provides a solid workout every week. I ran a 10K last weekend, I fully expected to walk part of it but at each mile I body checked and realized I felt great so kept running… the entire race. The workouts with Brandon has strengthened my knee and core and enhanced my mobility to where I can run again. The studio is bright and clean, staff are all upbeat and welcoming. My take away is even if we workout regularly and feel strong and fit, a trainer will help us get to next level fierce.

I have seen great results from my time going to Mint Condition Fitness; especially with the morning Boot Camp Classes. Brandon/Boot Camp instructor is always on time and on point to help make sure that we are structurally doing the exercises correctly and making any modifications where necessary. He has an upbeat positive attitude which makes waking up for a 6AM class worth it. The workout itself has really helped me with my other activities such as running and hiking. I attend the group exercise classes with Coach Brandon at 6am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I cannot say enough good things about Brandon and the quality of his workouts. I've been to many gyms in the area over the years and I can definitely say this is one of the best. He is very knowledgeable with regard to his craft and always has great advice with regard to fitness as well as an overall healthy lifestyle. He is meticulous with making sure that your form is correct so that you get the absolute most out of the workout. On the other hand, he is always able to give you an option if a particular exercise is above your level or if you have an injury that prevents you from doing it. Given that I am an early bird and like to get my workout out of the way early in the morning, it is a bonus that Brandon is very upbeat at 6am and has a great sense of humor. We always have fun while we workout but we also pushes you to work hard at the same time. The workout changes each week which is also nice so that you don't get bored and you stay challenged. I can honestly say that I look forward to getting up early and going to the class each day.

I started at Mint Condition transitioning from a physical therapy program where I was rehabbing from an ACL replacement. I'd been somewhat sedentary for years and coming back to do regular exercise was hard, mentally and physically. Colin, the owner of Mint, evaluated me to gauge my abilities and tailor a program. Everyone I've worked with at Mint since then, from the trainers who worked with me in private, semi-private and eventually group classes has been professional and contributed in some way to my physical well-being and I always enjoy coming in. Hanna runs the front of the house efficiently and brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to our classes when she works out. All the trainers have fun working with the clients - one night, on a lark, several of the coaches (including Koi and Kendra, at least) joined into one of our group classes just for fun. Of the current staff, I've worked individually with Bradley and Garrett in semi-privates and with Kendra and Jeremy in groups. They, as well as past trainers all have their strengths but they are all conscious of form, aware of individual needs/adjustments, pacing, and have positive attitudes without being over-the-top. I think the staff truly enjoys their work and care about their clients. This, along with the regulars I've seen over the 3.5 years I've been coming, really creates a sense of community. In particular, the Saturday morning bootcamp with Garrett has been a great way to start off weekends - you get a great workout and walkout with a better attitude than when you walked in. Give Mint a try.

I became active with Mint Condition Fitness in Los Gatos by participating in their "Bring a Buddy" promotional event. After my first session, I immediately joined as a member. I already led an active lifestyle, but as an older adult was realizing that I needed more. I needed things that Mint specializes in such as overall strength, balance, and flexibility. I always resisted joining a "traditional" gym and Mint Condition has proven it is far more superior than most. The staff at Mint (Hannah, Brad, and Garrett) are professional, extremely knowledgeable and patient. My trainer Bradley takes his time in not only showing me the exercises, but explaining why the movements are important for the body and everyday lifestyle. Mint condition is a wonderful, inspiring place to workout. Every single person there is supportive, from the coaches, to the membership specialists, to the members.
Anyway this team can make your experience better, they’ll jump right on it. I suggested on an internal review form that I’d like some nutritional support, not thinking it would amount to much. However, Colin, the owner, emailed me that afternoon and we set up a nutrition review meeting.
I was stuck for a few weeks and not coming in to work out, and I got supportive emails and calls from my Mint peeps. They encouraged me to come back in a very gentle, positive, caring way. And that was all I needed to come unstuck.
In addition to the team they’ve built, they also breakdown your strengths and weaknesses in a thorough assessment that lasts a couple of hours. Then they build a program that is highly individualized to help you get what you want out of moving your body, whatever your goals are. The mint community has people who are training for tough mudders, as well as people who are using a walker and want to move better.
I love the inclusivity and supportive atmosphere here. I am so glad I took the chance with these guys.

First and foremost, this is probably the most professional and motivating gyms that I have ever joined. The culture of this gym is not about "ego"s but rather improving a lifestyle that you want to improve on by knowing your potential and drilling down on your weak spot (whether that is mental or physical). This gym is about integrity and accountability training with results.
I have not had this much confidence and good self esteem about myself since May of 2008 which is before my injuries in the Army. These trainers don't treat you like clients but rather they make you feel part of team that incorporates strong values and high standards.
I look forward to each class as another challenge to overcome, that brings back the fighting spirit in me. They believed in me when I questioned myself.

A life changing experience that has given me the tools to live my life without limits!! I recommend this place 100% (if I could give more stars I would). This is not your normal gym, there is more about it that makes it unique. It starts with the first call, your evaluation, your first visit. It is all personalized and you feel from all the employees (especially your coach/trainer) that they care about you and the coaches empower you.
I am a skeptical person and I wasn’t sure if this was for me (have never been able to stick to a gym’s membership), but this is different. I have been a member for the past 6 months (and I renewed my membership because I love it!).
I had a great start...very challenging exercises at each individual’s level. They have levels to achieve, so you keep motivated to go to the next level. Even on my lowest point (when I was not progressing with my goals- each individual set his/her goals with the help of a coach)...they understood, talked to me, motivated me and made me feel that it is ok to slip a little. My coach Kendra encouraged and motivated me to continue. I got back on track and achieved another level.

A few years back I found myself at the point where even minor activities caused me pain. I no longer enjoyed my weekend warrior activities because the recovery was too long and painful. It turned out I didn't need more fitness articles, workout routines, or videos (I tried many). Joining Mint Condition Fitness was a great decision for me! After many, many years of having pretty much no fitness routine, I am now making measurable (and very visible!) progress toward the fitness goals they helped me to define. And I’m having fun doing it. Three things that make Mint Condition Fitness such a good choice are their People, Program and Professionalism.
First, the people. The staff at MCF are terrific. Not only are they very knowledgeable about fitness, personal training and nutrition, they are also really pleasant people! The staff genuinely cares about each member, and it shows. They are supportive and very friendly, as are all the members of the gym. No judgment and one-upmanship, just positive encouragement and some laughs along the way.
Another reason that MCF is a great choice is their program and all of the accountability built into it. I was initially drawn to MCF’s focus on ‘functional mobility’ and their commitment to personalizing the training program for each individual. My program is designed to strengthen what I need to strengthen while also working toward my goals, like developing beautiful arms! My program is designed just for me - with my abilities, limitations and goals in mind - and it changes every six sessions. In the course of those six sessions, we can modify any exercises that are problematic, and they continuously increase the level of challenge, so I’m not spending time doing exercises that are too hard, cause pain or heaven forbid, seem too easy.
Mint also stands out for their level of professionalism. The staff is really impressive, and they have their act together. Mint Condition Fitness has a clear vision and all of the staff members know what they’re doing, are completely focused on doing it, and seem happy to be working there.
I have the good fortune of working with Coach Garrett who teaches, inspires and entertains. Garrett is on top of his game – he knows what he’s doing, knows how to motivate people, and is very patient. :-) Warm welcomes, scheduling, monthly check-ins, and billing matters are skillfully handled by Hanna, who brings her positive outlook on life to work everyday.
I look and feel like a very different person than the one who walked into Mint Condition Fitness with trepidation a year ago - - kudos to the Mint staff for creating a fun, positive and supportive environment that produces measurable results!

I've been a member of MCF for approximately 4 years.The trainers are enthusiastic, friendly and encouraging. They are always welcoming and have positive attitudes. They don't treat you like just any member or just a number. It's a "family" like atmosphere in the gym and never intimidating.
Garrett, Khoi, Brandon and Kendra teach the group classes and are knowledgeable. The group classes are reasonably sized so the trainers can really focus on your form and give you personal attention.

I've worked out in a gym since I was a young man. As a former athlete, I felt like I knew what I needed. But I found that my workouts started to lack intensity on my own. Mint Condition Fitness, and especially my trainer, Garrett Nelms, has helped whip me back into top physical shape.
My blood pressure has dropped as well as my cholesterol levels. I reached my weight goal and I'm ecstatic to be a member of this great organization. It's not cheap, but worth every cent.

I have been going to MInt for the past 2 years. I take the 8:00 a.m Saturday boot camp class. It's a great environment with the same group of people We have built a nice community and hold ourselves accountable. Garrett is an excellent coach who provides clear instructions and creative programs. You should definitely consider Mint for your fitness needs.

Mint is a very unique gym experience. Of course the primary goal is fitness, but really it is about the whole person, mind and body, and helping you achieve your best you.
I have been a member for over two years and have participated in both their group classes and semi-private training sessions. The group classes offer great whole body work-outs that emphasize strength as well as cardio. The semi-private training is very personalized to you and your physical issues ( in my case bad knees and an injured shoulder)
Beyond being a good workout, it is a place with caring people who want to know about you and want you to have the workout that is best for you. The entire staff is fantastic, friendly and warm. Bradley, Hanna, Colin, Garret ,Khoi, Cat and Elodie are all great. The facilities are well organized and neat as a pin (Bradley is a bit OCD:).
No matter what your fitness level you will enjoy Mint Condition!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Mint Condition. Colin Triplett is the owner of Mint Condition. He manages his organization with care and with inspiration. The trainers are all top notch professionals. They are experienced not only in exercise techniques, but also in nutrition and in the psychology of producing the positive results needed to turn bad health habits into good ones. Each and everyone of them give the client a wealth of knowledge and detail which I don't think is surpassed in Silicon Valley. I especially was lucky enough to bond with trainer Garrett Nelms who has worked with me for two years now. I couldn't have been successful in my personal weight and strength goals without him.
The entire organization is run by people who care about you and want to see you succeed. That's hard to find in our fast paced world indeed

I have trained at other gyms for many years, here and abroad, and have never experienced the care, attention to detail and consequent progress that I have at Mint. From my first interview (and follow-up check-ins) with Hanna (the most upbeat and caring human being !) , through the evaluation process with coach Bradley (the mastermind behind the WOW), my workout program with coach Garrett (always aware of my limitations) and a few training weeks with coach Khoi (awesome stretching) I have felt part of a team whose focus and goal is to help me reach my full potential, in spite of former debilitating injuries. So much so that in spite of a bone spur in my right shoulder, I am now able to do REAL push-ups (not just from the knees!!! Hello?) and pull-ups, something I was told I was never going to be able to do. And having a great time while doing it too thanks to the camaraderie and upbeat mood amongst its staff and members.
The Mint team believes in each person's hidden potential and helps you achieve it. The "can do" and positive attitude there are contagious and I feel energized at the end of every workout, although I get up at 6am! Best decision I made this year was to join Mint. Great place to work out! Their programs are custom designed for me, and over the past two years, I have increased my strength and flexibility significantly, while at the same time decreasing pain (shoulder and knee) that I had previously attributed to just "getting old". All the trainers are knowledgable and experienced, but they're also interesting and fun to be around - they make the time spent working out fly by. Special kudos to Hanna at the front desk, whose welcoming smile and fun energy have brightened my day many times - she's also a pretty good DJ. Overall a supportive and non-intimidating environment to achieve your health and fitness goals.

Working out at Mint is the highlight of my day. Garrett, Khoi, and Bradley are outstanding personal trainers. Boot camps with Cat are great as well. Words of motivation are really important to achieving goals and Garrett is so good at that -- He keeps me focused and strong in mind and spirit. Khoi is excellent at showing you how to keep a perfect form and keep it through the exercise -- He is always positive and in the moment. My experience with Mint Condition has been phenomenal! I've never been one to work out in a gym for exercise -- having preferred to be an athlete in team sports in the past. However, working with Garrett twice a week at Mint has been something way beyond working out: Garrett tailors my personal program for my shifting individual needs and goals; He encourages me with his vast experience, deep understanding of physiology -- and great sense of humor; He doesn't just put me in front of a machine or set of weights, rather he has high standards and helps me reach them; and He sends me out the door to start my day with serenity and optimism. There is a depth of great experience in the Mint Team -- Bradley and Khoi are wonderful and experienced trainers, too -- and Hanna is a welcome and upbeat presence at the organizational end of things! Absolutely the best decision I ever made for myself was joining Mint. I have been a member since January 2016. When I joined I suffered with nagging and constant hip pain that had been ongoing for several years and was becoming very detrimental to my daily activities. Together Bradley, Khoi and Garret put together a plan which was all about helping me to get rid of the pain. I am thrilled to say I am now pain free and excited to get stronger and more fit.
Colin the Mint owner is a wonderful, dedicated and compassionate person. He treats me as if I were family and I know he really cares. My absolutely fabulous, and studly personal trainers Khoi and Garret have incredible patience with me and work very hard to help me be the best I can be. They each have a great sense of humor, are very encouraging and so determined to help me to become the best I can be.
I adore my monthly sessions with Hanna. She really helps me to understand my progress or (lack there of), she keeps me on track with amazing tips and ideas and for sure is my best cheerleader. Hanna does all she can to make me feel very welcome and cared about every time I walk through the Mint door.
I am 74 years old and when I joined aside from the hip pain I felt, old, frumpy and very jiggly. Well here we are 6 months later and due to great efforts by Colin, Bradley, Khoi, Garret and Hana I am pain free, nearly jiggle free, much stronger and very happy with my results. Miracles do happen at Mint!
I would encourage everyone who cares about their future to check it out and especially my older peers....what a difference 6 months has made in my life and a Mint miracle is waiting for you. Don't make the mistake I made by thinking the "gym" was for the young. It is for everyone.... I've been a member of this gym right from its humble beginnings 5 years or so ago and recommend it highly for a few reasons:
- Personalized plans that change every ~3 weeks (I go twice per week)
- Knowledgable, personable, humble trainers (with a great sense of humor) that help me through my workouts ensure my form etc is perfect every time
- Gentle 'encouragement' to push myself to continually perform as best as I can - I find myself lifting weights I honestly can't believe I lift and I'm doing sets of push ups (almost) to the floor which was something I had never been able to do prior to joining Mint
- Trainers listen and respond to every mention of a potential injury and modify workouts immediately to ensure that the injury doesn't get worse
- Trainers are interested in what you are doing outside of the gym (eating + exercise + sleep), what healthy 'habits' you are working on and how they can help you do better when you are not at the gym.
Overall these guys keep me sane in my crazy busy life and I truly appreciate all they provide.
