Vacationing usually means having to put my Pilates journey on hold, but not this year! Amber, Ali and Monterey Bay Contrology provided me with an opportunity to experience workouts and enjoy beautiful Carmel. Amber led me through several workouts using a variety of apparatuses and worked with me on improving my form and isolating muscles. Both Amber and Ali provided concise instructions and are exceptionally knowledgeable.

As I age (hopefully gracefully!) I feel like Pilates is the single best thing I am doing for my body - everything from my bones (keeping osteoporosis at bay) to my posture to the clarity of my skin stand to benefit. I really appreciate that Monterey Bay Contrology is a classical pilates studio because the system works and does not need modification. Thank you, MBC!

Came in to help strengthen my shoulder. I realized with the help of their amazing certified staff that my balance and core strength was lacking. To have certified Classical Pilates instruction here in Carmel is amazing.

Best California studio for Classical Pilates instruction from the source! Owner Ali Edwards has been teaching Pilates for over 20 years and she's truly the definition of high quality training. Definitely check out this studio if you are in the Monterey area!

First off I want to say Ali is the most amazing Pilates teacher I have ever taken from. She knows her craft, is very passionate, and a wonderful, amazing instructor. I had been having shoulder, knee, ankle issues from working as a nurse. After a year with Ali I woke up one day and realized I do not hurt anymore and have much more range of motion. I want to say to you all in Monterey, PG, Carmel area you are all very spoiled to have such a fabulous instructor within your reach!!! She is your hidden gem. I drive all the way from Gilroy 2-3 times a week to study with her and all the other great teachers at Monterey Bay Contrology. Thank you! Thank you! Keep up the great work!!!
