We guarantee the success of your goal so if we don’t get you there in time, then we’ll continue working with you for free up until you do reach that goal!

Met Coach Rob at Trader Joe’s, and he got me hip to this awesome place. He gave me a $100 coupon and he also let me try one of the morning classes for free to see if I would even like the program in the end. I signed up, and committed to the end of the year. This gym is smaller than a commercial gym, and is why I decided it would be a good fit for me. There are coaches to guide you, if you need it!! And I need it!! Im a newbie so it’s perfect for me. The coaches have made me feel welcome and comfortable!! Jeremy Jones was there to help me figuring out what I needed to do before my first class. There are classes if you’d like, they are well structured, or do your own thing!! I particularly like Coach John Hassell, he has been patient and encouraging. while I learn all the different weight exercises.

I’ve had such a great experience at Moses Fitness. The gym is always spotless, and the environment is welcoming. Everyone from the guests to the trainers is friendly and supportive. My trainer, John H., is terrific. As a former bodybuilder, he really knows what he’s doing and has helped me rehab, lift more efficiently, and safely increase the weight I’m lifting. Since starting at Moses Fitness, I’ve lost nearly 12 pounds and almost 4% body fat!

I’ve been training with Edgar for 6 months and the results have been incredible. I started at 126 lbs and now I’m at 117, but more importantly I feel stronger, fitter, and more confident in my body. Every month I could see and feel the difference. Edgar is tough in the best way, he pushes me to work hard while making sure I lift correctly and safely. He taught me how to do heavy lifts like squats and deadlifts with proper form, and he always listens to my needs. I first spoke to Moses the owner of the gym years ago, but I really wasn’t serious about my health. I recently met with Moses , and he recommended an evaluation with his trainer. The trainer was excellent, and we focused on the areas where I needed work. Due to a heridatary condition, my muscles are atrophying, and Moses said they could help. I have been trained by John for 6 weeks in Moses Fitness and I really enjoyed it. He is very knowledgeable and very professional coach. He keeps me highly motivated in every aspect of my training sessions. I lost about 12 pounds during my 6 weeks challenge and I am very happy about it. Great gym. Great people. All the trainers are super helpful and encouraging and they have different degrees of programs you can take depending on skill level and amount of help you need.
John, my trainer, is excellent. He has a deep knowledge and background in fitness. He’s kind and personable and understands everyone is different and caters his approach to the person. He can make it really fun but then also shift into coach mode when he needs to motivate you to push beyond your limits. He makes dedicated programs but is able to adjust them in the fly based on your physical needs and preferences. The other trainers are super friendly and jump in with encouragement and guidance.

I have never been one to ever go to the gym. In fact, I actually hate the thought of it. Out of the blue I went to Moses Fitness because it was in the neighborhood and I thought "why not?". I am glad that I did. I have been training now for some time with Jon and I realize that I don't actually hate it. He keeps me motivated and takes time to explain and demonstrate the exercise and why it works. When I just can't do something due to an injury he finds another way to accomplish the same goal. The program works! I lost 22 lbs thanks in no small part to my coach Tarrant who set an ambitious yet achievable goal and mentored me toward a healthier lifestyle, guiding and encouraging me along the way. The gym is great too: I never had trouble finding convenient times to visit when they aren't busy (just avoid the standard class times). Every person I've dealt with has been super helpful and shown a genuine desire to help me succeed at reaching my goals. The programs aren’t complicated (weight loss and fitness are simple in principle) but they’re just the right amount of hard. They’re a goal-centric gym, so everything is based on package pricing. Here’s how it works:
1. You’ll have your initial consultation where they’ll explain how they work, get your body stats, and talk pricing. This is your opportunity to ask questions and make sure it’s a good fit. If you’re on the fence about committing to your health, don’t sign up.
2. They’ll set you up for the app, link your smart devices, and explain the requirements for taking advantage of the goal guarantee: you have to do a minimum of 3 workouts a week, take a picture of everything you eat, and weigh yourself every day. If you do those three simple things, they’ll guarantee you’ll reach your goal in the allotted timeframe, and if you don’t they’ll keep working with you until you do.
3. You get assigned a coach (Tarrant was mine), start doing what they tell you to do and lose weight and gain muscle. Rinse and repeat. Most, if not all, of the programs include access to the gym, which is available 24/7 by key and lock box.
Reviewers who complains about how they only give you basic diet recommendations and a fitness plan you could google is missing the main features: accountability, tracking, and ACCESS TO AN AWESOME GYM. Again, fitness isn’t complicated, the principles are well-known and freely available. But most people won’t do it. And I can pretty much guarantee the people complaining about having buyers remorse after signing up aren’t doing it either. Having a coach like Tarrant monitor progress and recalibrate my diet and workout program as we go is huge. Having set workouts to do and just grinding through them without having to program them myself is huge. These things reduce the conflictive bandwidth necessary to get into the gym and work hard. And spending the money up front is a commitment to my fitness— the number needs to be a little bit painful so I commit to doing the work. It’s easy to delude myself into thinking I’m eating healthy and hitting it hard in the gym but without tracking, chances are good I’m underestimating my food consumption and overestimating my caloric burn, and I know I don’t push myself. With the Moses Fitness program, that problem is solved.

My Trainer is Edgar Who is someone that cares deeply for their work and his clients and treats everyone like family . He is very knowledgeable and always goes out of his way to help you. I must say everyone here has been the same. They treat you with respect and help you with all your goals. I just renewed another six week program And will keep on coming here. This place is cleaned and taken care of on a daily basis. You won't find the gym more cleaner and organized and safe than here. Jeremy made the initiation process so easy! He has a calm/comforting demeanor that doesn’t make you feel forced or pressured into getting a membership. He walks you through the entire process and ensured that you would have support regardless of the membership you chose. I love this gym and I’ve genuinely enjoyed my time here. This week I am finishing my semi private training and I can genuinely see and feel an overall improvement. I've been going to Moses Fitness for about a year now, and it's hands down the best gym I’ve ever been part of. The equipment selection is solid and varied, so workouts never get boring. The overall vibe is super motivating—good music, friendly people, and trainers who actually care.
I’ve been working with John B. since I joined, and he’s fantastic. He doesn’t just give you a workout and send you on your way—he takes the time to explain movements, answer questions, go over nutrition, and set realistic, personalized goals.
All of the other trainers are super-friendly too. Everyone knows everyone's name, and trainers are happy to offer feedback on form anytime.

Really weird experience. I came for a free consult with this guy Ronson. Anyway, the meeting was fine until the end. When we got to the point of talking about pricing we came up with a payment plan that at the moment seemed like it could work for me. But all I said was that I wanted to take the rest of the day to consider the offer and see if it would work with my budget, which I feel it pretty reasonable but he did not like that. Conversation turned very uncomfortable very quickly and we kept going back and fourth with a lot of awkward silence. I just kept reiterating that I didn’t want to make any final decisions here and now. When he realized that I wasn’t taking the bait the conversation ended very abruptly with an “alright man, have a good one” lol. I get that bro wants to make his commission or whatever but these types of sales tactics were very off putting. I was seriously considering signing up with them but after reading some other reviews here I am glad I dodged that bullet.

I joined the 6 week transformation challenge and it was excellent. I always thought weight lifting wasn’t a true workout but I underestimated what it can do for you. Lianna is my trainer and I haven’t always been perfect in my nutrition but through all the resources provided through the app and the courage of honesty back and forth with my trainer has taught me about my patterns and emotions. There are days that I wasn’t motivated and that is human nature but the ability to show up and show out gave me a sense of accomplishment. This is my final week of the challenge and I do feel transformed. I feel muscle memory coming back in every part of my body. I also feel stronger in areas that I was weaker. I have dropped about 7 pounds and although I wanted more, I can see that I lost inches and that is even better. The fact that I am in the rhythm now I don’t ever want to go back to the place I started. The music there is a great and they are flexible with letting you select your own songs. All the trainers lead by example and they actually care for the health of the clients even if the clients don’t take it seriously. Finding this place is a testimony in itself. I thank Yahweh!

I saw an ad on Instagram, a guy named Ronson sharing some tips and asking me questions I've been asking myself for a while. Yes I needed to get back into shape, yes I needed some guidance, and most of all I needed some clarity from all the fitness and nutrition NOISE that's out there. The latest and greatest get ripped quick ridiculous diet blah blah blah.
So I clicked the link and about 48hrs later I walked into Moses Fitness and had a meeting with Ronson himself! Yes, the guy on the Instagram ad was meeting with me in person. That was June 2024, and now I'm 40lbs lighter, bf% is down 11% and dropping. I've got my confidence and my life back in order. I invested in myself, followed their plan and showed up. John H. and Jon B. organized my training and nutrition, answered any and all questions, and the rest of the trainers and staff are top notch professionals in what they do. No bull, no NOISE, just good old fashioned hard work and organized training & nutrition.

I have a less than zero interest in lifting weights; I’d far rather go for a hike than waste time in a gym. But it was time to get serious about my health and when I saw an ad for Moses Fitness on my Facebook reels, I decided to give it a try.
I received the softest hard-sell at the sign-up. They never actually ask you if you’re interested, they only whittle down the numbers until you say yes. But the price was right for only three weeks so I went ahead and said yes.
That was three months ago and I’m still going five days a week. I had no idea I would gain so much from it. I attend the Group class and it’s not full of Gymbros but regular people also trying to get healthy. The instructor is available if I have questions, but otherwise leaves me alone to go at my own pace in my own strength. The exercises change from day-to-day, and the music is always wild, so I’m never bored.
The coaching option also gives you diet guidance. It was really helpful to get me established on changing my eating habits. I’m not interested in the direct coaching option so I did not renew that portion. But it’s nice to have the flexibility to adjust their program to your needs.
Since I started, I’ve lost 18 pounds, my clothes fit better, I have more energy and mobility, and less pain. Even though the workouts kick my ass, instead of dreading them, I look forward to class every day. I highly recommend Moses Fitness.

Moses Fitness seems to have changed my life, and in ways I never expected. This really isn’t an exaggeration. In just over 3 months I’ve lost 40 pounds and feel better than I have in years. I thought that my size was just my body type and couldn't really change. I’ve lost weight before it required unsustainable extremes. The weight returned. When several physical deficiencies were pointed out by my doctor (how rude!), I realized I had to try again and promptly injured myself, requiring a year of treatment. I needed professional guidance. Moses had impressive reviews, so I steeled myself for an anticipated hard sell and impossible cost. They were transparent about their pricing and offered a week-long introductory period to get a better sense of the experience. Some reviews balk about cost; I’m not sure what they expect – it's a quite reasonable per session rate, especially with the considerable expertise offered.
I was handed over to Jon B., who has been amazing. He insisted on weight loss as part of the program, despite this not being among my goals. I was a large person and wanted to be a stronger large person, building back some muscle lost from 30 years at a desk, maybe carrying the weight better, and protecting these aging bones as I begin to face the looming prospect of the “golden years.” ((shudder!)).
I was bemused by Jon’s confidence. It was kind of adorable. I'd follow the plan, but he'd soon meet my metabolism and we would silently agree to never speaking of it again. Jon set me up with a diet plan and nutritional app. This has been pure gold. The app gets checked regularly, and suggestions made for improvement, a huge help. Jon spent our first session on a full-scale evaluation, identifying my strong points and considerable limitations (that first lunge was pure hell!) and created a personalized plan. This is on their app, with videos so I can preview exercises as needed, though Jon always demonstrates them and guides me until I get them right.I signed up for a 6-week program before that introductory week was over, which I later extended by another 6 weeks. In their hybrid plan, Jon is working with me and a few other people in these sessions. However, they feel like private sessions – Jon is always there to correct my form and insist that I can actually lift more weight (he always seems to be right!). More importantly, he is always evaluating my limitations and is endlessly skilled at finding alternative movements to lessen the stress on problem areas until they catch up. He does this while offering tremendous encouragement and good humor, even easily accepting my inherent snark and sarcasm, an acquired taste for many.
Oh, and my metabolism? Apparently, Jon met it in a back alley and beat the hell out of it! The weight started to fall off like water! I’ve gone down 2 sizes in under 4 months. The need for new clothes is breaking the bank! I mean, it’s kind of disarming; I’m having to totally reevaluate who I am physically, which probably sounds very odd, but I guess it’s part of one’s identity, one I’ve apparently ignored or denied for much of my sedentary life.
Yes, all of this has required effort and discipline on my part, which I was apparently ready for. But I could not have gotten here without Jon and Moses Fitness. Of course, I am only at the beginning, there’s still some weight to lose and considerable strength gains to aspire to, but it feels like this time it’s going the stick. The change in mood, energy, and general sense of wellbeing has been incredible and going to these sessions has become the thing I most look forward to. I’ll soon attempt to go solo, though I’m staying at Moses. I can’t really imagine not doing so. Thank you!
Final note 1: I’ve watched and interacted with the other trainers, they’re wonderful as well.
Final note 2: If you still have the gift of youth, take care of yourself! Aging sucks but it will suck less with some preparation. Sadly, this isn't generally taught to most of us.

I love Moses Fitness!
I’ve always been intimidated by going to the gym, but MF is super chill and not intimidating. Everyone- trainers and clients, are super friendly and available to answer any questions I may have or to spot me when I need.
I opted for semi-privates at first and it gave me the confidence to be able to train on my own. John B is my trainer, and he’s super cool! Nice, funny, knowledgeable, and super responsive when I want to switch up my routine or have a question. He’s been customizing my routine for the past 5 months. I never get bored with my workouts. He also counsels me on nutrition and breaks down my caloric intake and macros, and gave me a shopping list of what/what not to eat. The membership comes with an app that tracks all my workouts and connects to my Apple Watch/health app, and also helps me track my meals.
I’m SUPER happy with the results. I went down 10% body fat in 3 months. Now I’m focusing on bulking and have put on 5 lbs of muscle in the past 6 weeks. I look and feel great! I’m standing up taller. I have more confidence and energy, I feel less stressed, and I sleep SO well at night. The community at MF is great. It’s a welcomed retreat from school, work, and all the other daily stressors of life. If you’re thinking about joining, I say definitely DO IT! They mean it when they say results are guaranteed. They give you all the tools you need to get the results you want.

I love Moses Fitness and can't recommend it highly enough. Ronson and his team have built a great facility with all the weightlifting and circuit training equipment I need. My 1-on-1 work with Tarrant has yielded great results so far -- he's super knowledgable, assigns challenging yet doable workouts and is always really friendly and supportive. I started at Moses Fitness just under 3 months ago. I came in weighing over 210 lbs, feeling low on energy and just unhappy about the way I looked or felt. My BMI index was over 32. With the guidance of these professional trainers and nutritionists, I went from being over 210 lbs to 189 lbs. My BMI dropped to 24, and I'm feeling and looking amazing. I have even stopped drinking coffee since my energy had gone up so much. With all that said, if you want to make a change in your life, give Moses Fitness a shot at a new and improved YOU! This review is for any women who saw their Instagram ad "We're looking for 10 women in the Los Angeles area to help meet their fitness goals!" If you're a woman and saw that ad, then read this review:
So I saw their Instagram ad looking for 10 women in the LA area that wanted to hit their fitness goals. (they didn't say get absolutely jacked, they just said meet your fitness goals) It sounded fun so I reached out and they asked me to come in, I thought it was a zoom call so I was accidentally late (100% my bad) but after we talked about the program I absolutely loved it! I decided that I really enjoyed what I was hearing, but I needed some time to think about it. Taking on a new responsibility, like hiring a personal trainer, is very daunting so I needed to wait a couple days before making my final decision.
Moses (the owner) was not happy at all. He was really upset, he wanted me to sign up for SOMETHING on THAT DAY. I felt bad for the guy because his gym is doing well, he doesn't need my business. He even tried to offer me some classes for free? Which made me uncomfortable because I didn't need to be pressured into free classes, I already liked the program. I shouldn't have to sign up immediately, I need to go home and have time to decide AFTER seeing the gym for the first time. The conversation started getting heated, he started accusing me of "kicking the can down the road" and not "committing". I was trying to explain to him that this is just who I am, I'm not going to drop $1400 in one day, I'm not going to sign up for 1 or 2 classes either unless I'm ready to commit. I told him he could trust that if not now, I would sign up after my next gig ended. They really wanted me to agree to some free classes but I told him I didn't need to experience anything else, I just needed time to adjust to the decision. But nonetheless he was really really pushy. He kept trying to get me to "workshop the decision" with him (like, imagine you woke up tomorrow! would you say yes??) so he could get me to sign up RIGHT NOW. I was trying to explain why it was difficult by explaining what I do for work, as a gig based artist and it might take me a couple days to feel confident enough to sign up to a commitment. But he just wouldn't take no for an answer, he almost tried to "force" me to say no because I wouldn't say yes. If he wants more young women there, that kind of pressure from a man is not welcome, and their boyfriends will not like it either.
After everything I asked to meet a coach and he walked over to one and said "Dude I'm trying to get this girl to sign up but she wont do it! Idk what the hell to tell her, but she STILL wants to meet you FOR SOME REASON..." and he stormed off. What this guy doesn't realize is that HE HAD ME. I loved the gym, the price, everything, I just needed time to ADJUST TO SPENDING $1400! This is how I bought my car, I went to the dealership, looked at the car, loved it, went home, slept on it, and returned the following day and bought the car. Like guys, you HAD me, I just needed time.
My boyfriend was with me the entire time and after we left he said: "I never want you to reach out to these guys again, the way they spoke to you made me feel so unsafe. They did not care about your comfort level at all, and I would never want them to feel like they could convince you to do something you didn't want to do and accidentally hurt you." The part hat really hurt was that Moses didn't really start backing off until my boyfriend finally chimed in and said "Hey listen, we just need more time."
I'm actually going to check out Hero's Journey Fitness from a friend's recommendation. I don't want to get absolutely jacked, I just want to meet my fitness goals (which is what your ad said you wanted to help 10 LA women do) without feeling like I'm being pressured and spoken down to.

I have never ever liked a gym before coming here! This place has totally changed my attitude towards exercise and has helped me reach my goals in a short amount of time. Coach Jon is the absolute best!! - you can tell he genuinely cares so much about every single person in there and wants to help everyone become the best version of themselves. His group classes are so freaking fun and he really knows his stuff and can explain everything with patience and kindness. Unlike most gyms, there is a real sense of community here and I’ve made some really awesome friends!

I’ve joined Moses fitness mid January 2024.
During Covid time I’ve gained bunch of weight and even though I worked out every day I had a challenge to lose it.
Ronson is my trainer I’m now 184 pounds and can recommend his diet and training program it works!
My goal is to reach 165 pounds and I’m sure I will get there with Rinson’s help and coaching.

As other reviews have mentioned, the practices of this business are wildly predatory from a financial perspective and have next to no transparency. You may see on the Q&A that they deliberately avoid listing out any pricing. They claim this is because everyone is different, yet a number of their packages are group sessions which shouldn't differ in price from person to person anyway. The real reason they don't mention pricing at all on their website or even a rough estimate in the Q&A is that they want you there in person. It's a lot easier to manipulate you that way.
You go for a meeting with Ronson directly. Although he is plenty polite, you instantly get the impression that you're talking to a salesperson first and foremost. He'll ask you your long-term goals and then give you a timeline. Keep in mind that in the meeting he extended this timeline by nearly double saying that it's more "sustainable." While there may be something to that when you're being charged by the week? Feels like a pretty good way for them to make more money when the results you're looking for take longer.
So instantly I was told an insane number in the multiple thousands of dollars. It would allegedly be 20% off the weekly price, but it didn't mean much at that high of a number. Sensing my hesitancy, he started talking to lower offers that were still pretty steep commitments. It ended up with him asking "What is the highest you could give right now?" Truthfully I didn't have an answer for that, but I was just paid so I took a rough stab at $500 down. He locked me in for that price and I paid there in person. This was hardly the smartest move, I admit that, but there is so much pressure put in right from the get-go. "No" is not an acceptable answer here.
After doing so he printed out a contract that I would only later realize had a clause about No Refunds no matter what. This is in a contract that you, again, sign ON THE SPOT. Nothing was verbally mentioned about their refund policy.
A couple of days later, without getting into specifics, I ran into a family emergency. Completely unforeseen, but I would need to uproot the way I was living for a bit, and this included putting my health plans on hold. I contacted Moses right away and asked if I could potentially get a refund on the deposit and cancel any appointments. Keep in mind I hadn't gone back to the gym ONCE. I was rejected, so I set up another meeting with Ronson directly (which took over a week to get anyway).
Once I did meet him again, I explained the situation very clearly and explained how I hadn't used any of their services and really needed the money back due to unforeseen circumstances. I even went into further detail on my situation and the family emergency, and ultimately I got the equivalent of a spit in the face. Ronson said "After you put a down payment on a car, you don't ask for that back." and after I pointed out that I didn't even have this hypothetical car, he waved it off.
What pissed me off the most was that they made it clear that they COULD in fact return my deposit. It was mentioned multiple times that it was something well within their ability, and judging by the gym itself, it wouldn't even dip into their profits. But they didn't care. I didn't use their gym once and I had an insane situation that couldn't have been predicted, but they couldn't care less. They valued that initial $500 down more than they valued the human being behind it. Hell, that's the free-est $500 anyone could make. I wish I could run a scam this effectively.
I wish no ill will upon any of the trainers or nutritionists who are just doing their job, but the business as a whole is wildly predatory and is designed to get the maximum money out of you upfront. I'm sure some people can do well with this program, but you can get the same value out of a $10 jazzercize video and you at the very least wouldn't have to deal with a business that lacks any sense of empathy.

I just started with Moses and I'm addicted. Mother of two I couldn't find the time or the drive to start working out. Moses gym gave me both. They have flexible hours and their coaches are so great that you can't wait to go training. They target your goal and check weekly on your progress. They also have coaches that coach on nutrition which is a huge deal for me as well. I'm so happy and excited to train with Jorge and Lianna to reach my end goal. These folks really care about you! Office is also super nice and organized. Chris is always responsive and works with you if you need to reschedule. The gym is also clean and filled with wonderful people

I really recommend you don’t go this place!
They are promising things that you will never get.
1- class training- the coach is coming and telling you to look on the board and do what writing there and then they are going to the office.
2- nutrition- they are giving you only a short list of what they recommend to eat and thats it.
I feel scammed and i paid a lot of money with out getting nothing in return.
After one day I already stopped going there and they said there will not be any refunds.
Do your self a favour and go to a place that respects you and your money!

Watch out!
I had a really bad experience with the gym owner Ronson.
Initially I got there by answering an online add that says, "we are looking for 8 more people that want to transform their body"
Well that's right there is where the unethical sales techniques started.
They called me for a meeting where Ronson tried to sell me a $5000 training package right there on the spot, not even 10 minutes in, Once I declined Ronson started to climb down offering me "more affordable packages" starting at $3000 than $1500 etc.
Once I declined to those as well because I knew nothing about this gym which ended up being a super mediocre practice anyway, but we will get to that too...
He finally found a way to convince me to start today by signing up on a "week to week, cancel anytime basis" type of membership at $150 per week,
Which is a pretty high number as well.
But I signed up, and Rolandson pulled up his computer and made me sign on a contract on the fly, Knowing I can cancel any time, I signed. (no so much in reality)
I told to my self that if I go for it and I sign up, I will give it a fair chance of at least 3 months to fully experience the place.
Well after those 3 months ended, I wasn't so impressed with their program and what they have to offer and decided to cancel.
I sent a message through their app to my personal trainer which they assigned me to that I won't continue with the program and l've decided to cancel.
Looking on my bank in the end of the month I was so surprised to find out they kept charging me on weekly basis.
That's where I found out that I can't cancel on the spot and I have to pay 4 weeks out of pocket before I can cancel my membership because "THATS WHAT THE CONTRACT SAYS"
Which I never had to chance to read before I signed since Ronson was busy with signing me up at any price.
Well when I reached out to Ronson and asked to reverse those tour payments that accrued in my bank account after cancellation,
He argued and insisted to stick to that contract.
I never read.
I was trying to talk sense to him but all I got back is rejection and defensiveness.
Showing zero customer service skills and work ethics.
I ended up paying for those 4 weeks that I haven't use.
Very very disappointing and I do not recommend anyone to this gym.
If you're looking for mediocres, that's the spot for you!

I have always liked working out, but my problem was my diet. I needed a change and Moses Fitness have given me that. I’ve been training with Jon Bruice for 3 weeks now and I’ve already had weight loss and my eating habits have improved vastly. I’m held accountable by tracking my food and workouts on the app, even in this short time I’ve already started lifting heavier and feeling stronger. I no longer have excuses with all the healthy options they provided and the results make me just wanna keep going! I also love that the gym is 24/7 and although the gym is small there is hardly ever a wait for a machine. It is expensive, but worth it is you want results!

I must say this is by far the best Private gym I’ve ever been a part of. Ronson is an expert in running the gym and everything fitness related. Whats been amazing working with them for the past two years is that all the trainers at the facility know what they are doing. Amazing gym! I train with Jon and he is so attentive, positive, friendly, and definitely knows what he’s doing. He is super good at working around injuries as well. I’ve been training for a couple months and have seen great physical improvements already.
Also, the gym is always spotless. Cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. And it’s never crowded. Everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming. I felt like part of a community my first day training.

When the Covid lockdown hit, my gym routine crapped out and and my physical health soon followed. This year I finally made it a priority to get that weight off. Based on past experience getting in shape, I recognize the need for accountability and small group training to hit my goal. I found Moses Fitness when searching for nearby gyms that can tailor a semi group training program which keeps me showing up to the gym and being honest about nutrition, which is really what anybody needs to lose weight and get in shape. So far by training with Jon Buice I've lost 8 pounds in two months and feel better than ever. The meal plan is easy to follow and Jon checks in on me regularly both in person and via the gym app. During workouts he monitors my form and progress and helps me avoid mistakes that can cause injury. The gym is perfect - clean, with the right equipment, and always enough room to get my workout done efficiently and head back to the busy life!

At the end of the summer of 2023 I was ready for a change. I saw an ad on instagram for a 6 week program at Moses Fitness. I made the call set up the meeting. I met with JP. No hard sell. I listened to him and he listened to me. I committed to the 6 week group program and started the next day.
The 1 o’clock group session fit my schedule and I found myself surrounded by all ages, all shapes and sizes, all colors and creeds. We all had the same goal….to get fit.
The 1 o’clockers are guided by John Buice. It is my experience he is the perfect guide. He is patient, encouraging and extremely knowledgeable on all things fitness be it diet, muscles and every machine in Moses Fitness.
He has helped me adapt to a knee and shoulder problem, adjusting different exercises to help me get strong and avoiding straining my vulnerable areas. To date I am getting stronger and my pre existing conditions are improving. John is an ever-watchful eye on us 1 o’clockers stepping in at any moment to adjust our technique. The entire class has his undivided attention from start to finish. To top it off he has a great sense of humor, and that to me is most important. Thank you John. Us 1 o’clockers are waiting for you to get your picture on the wall.
The gym itself is a great layout with more than enough equipment. A most importantly it doesn’t smell like a gym. I’ll say that again, it doesn’t smell like a gym thanks to the tireless efforts of Francisco who is constantly cleaning and wiping down everything.
In the beginning they gave me a scale and an app. You are to weigh yourself every day and take pictures of you meals. Personal accountability.
Weighing myself this morning I realized I’m down 21 pounds. I am standing taller. My kids are cheering me on and I feel great. The program is so much more than just showing up to the gym everyday. It has bled into my everyday life. I don’t cave to cravings as easy. I make better choices for myself everyday. I watch everything I eat and when I cheat I don’t feel guilty. I enjoy it knowing that 4 slices of pizza is down to 1, a dozen chicken wings is down to 3 and I don’t feel like I am missing a thing.
I’m so glad I made this commitment to myself and Moses Fitness is the perfect place gain back my life.

Great gym with awesome trainers. Worked with Edger in the evenings and Jon Buice during the days, depending on my schedule. Both were awesome. Worked with Jon more, though, and could tell he knew his stuff. Always there to help with lifts and accommodated with what type of workouts to work with and through injuries. Already lost 35lbs with their help and plan on training more. Don't get me wrong like any gym it's what you're willing to put in, but they are definitely there to help and support you. Made my journey a lot easier.
Also, to note, their gym is very well kept, clean, and not usually too crowded. And none of that nonsense here like in other gyms. People are there to work out. You won't find someone there on a machine or lift for 20 plus minutes on their phone instead of lifting.

Moses Fitness is and has been my safe space from the moment I walked in thanks to the incredible staff, Chris & Dan, coaches (especially Coach Jon Buice) , and owner, Ronson.
Jon B. is an incredible coach and overall human being. He's always pushing me to lift heavier, to go the extra mile, and to give it my all during conditioning. Aside from being an awesome coach, Jon is just an overall awesome person. He does a great job of creating a welcoming and kind environment and although he probably doesn't get paid extra for this, he's always willing to listen when you're having a rough day. His "get up, dust yourself, and keep moving" type of mentality will have you pushing yourself during and after the gym.
