Stephen is sincere and takes the time to watch my forms and push me to go past my complacent comfort level. I do want a coach who is easy to work with when it comes to payments, process, and coaching style. He can meet your needs if you want someone to push you or take it easy with you. I prefer a coach who can push me beyond my normal "work out". I can feel my muscles and I feel the strength from my legs coming back.
All I can say is Stephen is a coach and a business owner whom I love to support because he represents all the goodness of an entrepreneur trying to do good!!!

Both me and my husband had a great time training with Stephen! After three months, I felt much stronger with my upper body — which was my initial goal — and could lift my 75-pound dog into the car by myself. Really empowering experience. I have been working out with Stephen for over eleven years now, typically 2-3 times per week. He is positive and upbeat. I highly recommend Stephen. His workouts are never the same, keeping it interesting and fresh. Even after over 11 years, he continues to amaze me with the introduction of new exercises & variations. The workouts are well thought out, targeting different areas each session. I used to be avoided to exercise with all the possible excuses. I had done two surgeries in 3 years. My weight kept going up. My health is being concerns.
Four months ago, my brother and my sister-in-law took me together for a Semi Private Training session in the Movement Hub on a Saturday. This was my 1st time in the Movement Hub. Stephen was the trainer for that session. He is an awesome trainer and professional. I changed my impression of exercise, not that horrible, and was willing to give it a try.
Just a few months training in the Movement Hub, amazingly, one of my health issues has been treated by doing the core strength excises. This was a surprised bonus to me. My overall health has gradually improved, and my weight has under control. I have more energy in my daily life and feel great.
I enjoy each training session in the Movement Hub. For me, this is absolutely the greatest investment to a better self. I will keep going strong. Thank you Movement Hub, especially Stephen!

So, I've been working out with Stephen from Movement Hub for more than a year and I've never been fitters. I was already working out hard and have a history of physical activity so I thought I'd walk in with some ease. That said, his approach to fitness is holistic where we workout for strength, size and mobility. My body has become more flexible while also adding muscle mass. It's been a great experience. Also, Stephen has helped me with my diet by providing example diets and males. It's been a great transformation for me. Me and my friends took semi-private training sessions here with Stephen, Howard, and Chris. Stephen is amazing, always being super helpful in accommodating our schedules and great workout sessions. We immediately decided to take sessions here after the initial consultation. Howard and Chris are also amazing, I really enjoyed coming here to workout because they are professional but also really nice people. They’ll adjust the different workouts according to your ability. I’ve been working out with Stephen on and off for over 10 years, and each workout is a win! Stephen does a great job balancing pushing and being supportive/encouraging. No two workouts are ever the same, he shakes things up quite a bit every time to keep it fresh and kind of keeping you guessing and engaged. I don’t like to do weights by myself because I don’t like repetition and worry I might hurt myself so I fully trust Stephen for my strength training. Great trainer.

I have been part of this amazing place for the last 1.5 months .Movement hub work outs are well designed to be not only challenging but also engaging. The most important thing is the warm and the motivating environment made possible by Stephen, Trainers and your workout mates. I can only say extremely positive things about Movement Hub. Stephen works so hard to make a positive, encouraging and learning atmosphere for newcomers and experts alike. Stephen is the best! Originally I started to go to the movement hub as I had back problems that prevented me from getting back in shape. Not only did Stephan help strengthen my core which fixed my back problems he has made me very fit! When I first stated seeing Stephen (4 years ago) my muscles were so sore after working it it was hard to drive home as I could not raise my arms to the top of the steering wheel. He never pushed me harder than I wanted to be pushed but we progressed to being extremely fit ( I did the Spartan 300 workout yesterday, look it up) . He keeps it interesting hardly do the same exercise twice and he knows how to push you to be your best. On top of that he is a great guy. Mike S.

Stephen is an excellent trainer and very considerate. I have had knee issues and he has always modified the exercises for my knee. He will make sure that you get the maximum out of the 50 min workout with him. I have tried both private and semi-private coaching with him and he has ensured that the workout are adapted to the format for maximum results. The format of his workouts has been effective for me. He also gives nutrition guidance in terms of macronutrients break-up based on body fat and weight but you have to be consistent and motivated by yourself to follow that.

Stephen Ross is the best. I turned 50 years old in 2021 and I gained a lot of weight due to the COVID pandemic. I decided in November 2021 (because we were going to Hawaii in July 2022) to make a change. He was able to motivate me and create a great program. I was able to lose 30 lbs in 5 months! I was able to become stronger and more fit. I have more energy and am in the best shape of my life in 20 years. He has created a life style that I can sustain.

A friend referred me to Stephen for my workouts, and I couldn’t be happier. Every workout with Stephen is intense and well worth my time and money. I have been working out with Stephen for a couple of months now and am thoroughly enjoying it. The facility is nice, clean and simple. I never leave one of our personal training sessions feeling like I did not get a great workout in, as Stephen does a great job of walking the fine line between pushing you to your limit (and beyond) and knowing when to pull back a bit. I am feeling stronger, leaner, and more energized. Very reasonable pricing, plus Stephen is super nice and knows his stuff. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a personal trainer who will push you to get results.

Ok no but for real- Stephen Ross is amazing! My now husband and I went to Stephen because we wanted to get in shape and feel fit for our wedding (more me to fit into my mermaid style wedding dress). We joined his Kickstarter Boot Camp at his gym, the Movement Hub in Santa Clara.
In the camp, there were people of all ages, body types, all athletic levels, and goals. It was so nice to see a variety of people joining together to get healthy. Stephen worked hard to come up with a dynamic workout that would fit each person’s need. He would differentiate the workout and adapt the sets if needed for the group or individual. All while making it fun- for example, sometimes he would have us make teams and compete to push us- or have circuits with many different activities focusing on different muscles to give us a full body workout! He changed it up each week to make it interesting!
The climate at the Movement Hub was always lighthearted, fun, and encouraging. Stephen wanted everyone to feel comfortable and successful in their workout. He would come work with you one-on-one if you needed support adjusting the set for you. That is so key! I loved every minute of my workouts with Stephen Ross at the Movement Hub. He encouraged us to be our best selves- healthy & fit with a smile! My husband and I love Stephen! We can’t wait for our next camp with him!

I've been training with Stephen for 5+ years. He has completely changed my attitude and approach for health and fitness. He takes time and care to teach not only the precise physical movements of new exercises but also the mindset behind it. I trained with Stephen for years when I lived in Mountain View. He helped me lose weight and improve my overall health immensely. I got my mile time back down from 9 minutes to under 7 with HIIT (high intensity interval training), and I got good increases in strength, endurance, and flexibility. I’ve had personal trainers for one on one work outs and joined CrossFit gyms before but I have to say the Movement Hub has been my favorite environment to work out in! It’s always fun and the workouts are never the same. Loving Kickstarter Bootcamp on Saturday mornings. Fun to work out with great people. I am almost a year from 60, and don’t feel intimidated.
