I've been working with Carlos the last 7 months and the results have been amazing. Working out and eating healthy have become cornerstones of my weekly schedule and I’ve now found that I don’t feel as good in the week if I am off track in either area. Carlos is easy going, pushes hard where needed, and allows you to go at the pace that suits you, while still holding you accountable and getting you out of your comfort zone.
Carlos has a flexible schedule, which is helpful if you work office hours, and has a great app/portal with all the information/plans that accompany your workouts.
Carlos has made it a great experience and I can't recommend him enough!

I have personally trained with Carlos for at least four years. His plans are effective and working with him is not only effective, but enjoyable and rewarding. I have even noticed a change in one day or even during that session. He has deep knowledge of how the body parts affect one another.
Carlos has an uncanny ability to break up a movement into it’s parts to get to the crux of creating change. Currently he’s teaching me to walk again and better. He is quite creative and has even made custom exercises to meet my specific needs.
Constant trainer/client communication gives him information as to what is happening and how to proceed. He’s always asking, “How does that feel?” This also keeps me safe.
I trust Carlos completely and recommend him to anyone who wants an effective yet pleasant workout from a creative competent trainer.

Carlos has not only set-up an effective training schedule for me but has been fantastic at teaching me the proper form to get quality results. He's consistently attentive to any issues or discomfort I may have while also pushing me to achieve better results. He knows that perfect balance.

Carlos Pena has been my personal trainer for over 3 years. I’m 70 years old and this is the first time I’ve ever stuck to a fitness plan for more than a few months. I used to play sports to stay in shape when I was younger but now I need another way to keep fit. Carlos has taught me how to do that. He is very patient and understanding and listens to my feedback and pays attention to it. Carlos is very knowledgeable and is always willing to explain the benefits of the exercises set up in my workout routine. This also includes giving me a better understanding of the cause and prevention of the aches and pains I may experience. Carlos is a very ‘personable’ trainer and he is the main reason my physical fitness is improving rather than declining at this stage in my life.

I've been training 1:1 with Carlos for a little over a year and it's been mentally and physically transformative. When I decided to start working with a trainer I had really broad goals to lose weight and kickstart a fitness routine. (It had been years since I found a workout routine that kept me motivated and then I had a second kid early pandemic and everything went out the door.) What I ended up with was so much more - a long term sustainable approach to weight training, a better understanding of nutrition, esp as it pertains to supporting muscle growth and maintenance, and confidence to do it on my own.
I'm a 39 year old female who was raised with a weight watchers mindset which instilled in me that rigorous cardio + calorie deficit was the only way to achieve my goals. Not so! Carlos has helped me understand the importance of strength training and building muscle mass (and thank god cause jogging is just the worst).
The world of fitness and weight lifting can be really overwhelming and confusing so for me one of the values of working with Carlos has been his skill in demystifying the whole thing and distilling it down to a thoughtful, no frills program that has been super effective and motivating. I've worked with a few other trainers before and Carlos was the first one to teach me how to really push myself - an extent to which I'm certain I wouldn't have reached on my own. And last but not least, Carlos is a lovely person, kind and accommodating and fun to workout with!

Carlos Pena Helped Me Become Healthy, Strong, and Active Again
First things first - go to Carlos - he is an outstanding trainer... smart, patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about fitness. He loves training people. Yes! He will help you become strong and fit and if you have aches and pains, he understands how to change exercises to avoid or fix your issues.
Now the back story....
As I approached my 65th birthday, my body was a wreck. Injuries had altered my life dreams to be fit and free to do what I wanted to do physically. My knee pain had limited my ability to be active, despite years of physical therapy and surgeries. I am so glad I found Carlos. With his vast understanding of movement, his approach was unique and new to me.
Over several months of working with Carlos, my body pains started to diminish. Now, my knee, hip and back pains are gone. I am strong and understand how to move my body correctly and safely and remain very active. I feel youthful and strong thanks to Carlos.

I have been training Carlos for over a year. I am amazed at the progress I have made! Carlos created a weight lifting program specifically designed for my goals. He provides feedback for each exercise and lets me know when and how I need to adjust my form for maximum benefit. With Carlos you get more than a physical trainer. Carlos is very knowledgeable about techniques and stretches that help me recover from minor muscle aches. He is able to provide me with a fitness routine that keeps me active along with keeping me save from injuring myself.
