Liv Loo is a Certified Personal Trainer in San Francisco specializing in adaptable movement for the chronically badass. Her story began at age four when she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Liv’s lifelong experience with chronic pain has gifted her deep empathy and an ability to create safe spaces for the community. Her mission is to enable warriors to thrive beyond survival and to open the doors to healing and empowerment for all.

I've been training one-on-one with Liv for over a year. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have never had a very integrated movement or exercise practice, and it gives me a pretty high level of anxiety. But Liv, she is there for you to come EXACTLY as you are, and meet you where you're at. Every session with her is exactly what I need to get through my day. She is incredibly attuned to my needs, and her ability to intuit and adapt each session always leaves me feeling empowered, held, and stronger.
I had a break of a few months around the holidays, and coming back wasn't the horrible difficult task I'm used to in recommitting to my physical health. After every session I feel like my body, my mind, and my heart are lighter, more elastic, and stronger than before.
Seriously, if you've been nervous about starting a movement journey, I'm here to tell you from that perspective it can be compassionate, exciting, empowering and fun with Liv.

I was fortunate to find certified fitness trainer Liv Loo after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. As a person who has lived with RA most her life, Liv is in a unique position to understand the challenges and benefits of regular movement. Working with Liv in her virtual studio has not only helped me gain back strength and mobility, but the confidence to listen to my body and to reach for fitness goals I thought were no longer possible for me. I started training with Liv after I had been struggling to feel physically healthier and stronger after the quarantine from the pandemic. Liv was the perfect person to help me move forward and I am super grateful to her!
Liv is incredibly knowledgeable about fitness the human body, and what's more, she's exceptional with the psychology of motivation. She also has a clarity with her communication and she is able to meet you where you are at, which I really value.
I feel better than I have in years. I would highly recommend anyone to MoveToLiv!

I hired Liv as my personal trainer quite some time ago, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. I owe the incredible progress I've made on my body (and mind) transformation to Move2Liv! She is patient, compassionate but still able to challenge me to get out of my habits and into healthier habits. I used to get anxious about going to work out but after my time with Liv, I now get anxious if I don't work out. The shift has been nothing short of miraculous. Liv is talented, informed, and empathetic. I did Zoom sessions with her after recovering from a hospitalization, with doctors giving me strict parameters on what I "shouldn't" attempt in my workouts. These seemed like impossible conditions to me, but Liv didn't bat an eyelash and promptly developed full-body, whole-person workouts-- sessions that got all my parts moving while being so kind to my ups and downs with my body. I'm somebody who has pushed myself too hard in the past, who has gone to other trainers and left with an exertion migraine because I didn't know how to set boundaries-- but never had even a slight issue with Liv. She taught me more about working with (not against) my body. Working with her is true therapy for mind and body.

Working with Liv has been an absolute game changer for me! She is a breath of fresh air in an industry that is too often focused on the grind.
