My daughters (ages 13 and 15) have been training at MTC since they were 6 years old, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. We initially picked the place because of its location, accesibility and convenience, but now we love it because of multiple other reasons. Master Ahn, Master Andy, Master Yun and their junior instructors are highly skilled, patient, and genuinely care about each student's progress. They provide clear instruction while maintaining a supportive, encouraging environment that makes learning fun and challenging at the same time.

The facility is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a proper training session. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, they offer a range of classes that cater to different skill levels, including adult, sparring, poomsae and competition classes.

What I love most is the strong sense of community--everyone is friendly and supportive, making it a great place to train and grow. We have been with MTC for 9 years now and both my daughters made strong bonds and lasting friendships with some of their classmates.

I have been at MTC for a year and a half now and it’s amazing how much it has helped me as a person. As a student in high school, MTC not only provides an extracurricular opportunity, but a second life outside of the stresses that school puts upon me. I have developed my own community at MTC with friends my age that I can have fun with and train together. Coming from New York three years ago, when I got here it was really hard for me to find a place to call my new TKD home: and that I did. I am still adjusting of course. You can take me out of NYC, but you can't take the NYC out of me.

MTC has been a big part of my life. I started when I was 8 and now 9 years later I have made friends, a second family, and I have gotten a job here. All the instructors and masters take time to get to know the kids and do what they can to help them improve their skills. We have 2 kids, ages 11 and 13. They have both been attending this school for 5+ yrs. If you are a resident of the Glendale, Montrose, La Crescenta, La Canada Flintridge, Sunland-Tujunga area you will not find a better school for Taekwondo. We visited and attended other schools in the area and this one excels above all. The leadership at this school is top-notch.
