This place used to be good. The new owner doesn’t know what she is doing. Doesn’t bother to cancel my membership or respond emails or calls.
The classes got horrible and the overall vibe of the place is blah.

10/10 recommend My Gym birthday parties!

My kids and their friends had an absolute blast playing here. The programming is structured without stopping any of the crazy fun.

Owner Naomi & her staff are a pleasure to work with. I spoke with Alex several times leading up to the party and communication was always so warm and helpful.

Clean! This kids gym is CLEAN, which is worth its' weight in gold. All of our guests noticed and complimented the fun inviting space.

We had our daughter's birthday party here last year and this year because she liked it so much last year. Last year was great. This year we were really disappointed. Pretty much every perk for the party was removed. No more decorations provided. No more chalkboard sign saying happy birthday. No crown. We were told the kids needed grippy socks, so we put in the invitation that everyone needed grippy socks. Most people brought grippy socks of their own but we were forced to buy socks for them anyway at an additional cost for each child. We were charged for a child that came in but didn't go in the play area to play and left after a few minutes. Overall it just lost any sense of being special that it had last year. The staff was nice but honestly the sock thing just felt like an insulting money grab. Kids took off their grippy socks to put on other grippy socks that cost more money for no reason. It also struck me as weird that we paid hundreds of dollars for the party that had no extras like last year, and we paid for all the kids to have socks, and then we got asked for a tip with a suggested price of nearly 100 extra dollars. But I'm not sure what the tip was for. We paid for a party. We got a party. We were forced to buy socks, we bought the socks. At what point did anyone do anything above and beyond the agreed upon price to justify paying an additional 100 dollars? This will be our last party here. Not sure if it's a new owner or what but it just left a bad taste in our mouths this year.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience at my gym in Carlsbad! Recently, we celebrated a friends birthday there, and it was a fantastic day from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to keep the kids engaged and entertained throughout the entire event.

The birthday program was exceptionally well-organized and tailored perfectly to the multiple age groups that were there. From fun games to exciting activities, every moment was filled with laughter and joy. The staff members were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive to the needs of each child, ensuring everyone felt included and had a great time. Especially, the owner. She was extremely engaged and caring. What an amazing spirit she had. No wonder this place will succeed.

Also, the facilities were clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed. Including a freaking zip line.

Overall, I highly recommend my gym for hosting children’s parties. They truly understand how to create memorable experiences and provide exceptional service. My kids are already asking when we can go back! Thank you and can’t wait to come back!

I can’t say enough great things about MyGym Carlsbad. Miss Kayla, the Director, is amazing with kids and manages this place so smoothly. She is really such a perfect fit for this place. The rest of the staff are young but also good with children. The facility is always spotless and is very well-cared for. The equipment is well-maintained and obviously cleaned often and the flexibility of the space keeps the kids' attention (they change the layout of the equipment every week to keep it fresh). This location has a new owner recently, and she has really upgraded the MyGym experience. She replaced all of the equipment that was worn out with nice, new stuff… they have added new toys, puzzles, and books to the independent play time and they’re big hits with the kids. We love it here! We’ve tried a few different children’s indoor play places in the area and none of them are kept up to the standards of this MyGym. We recommend this business to many people and will continue to go here as long as we can. If you’re considering going here, don’t hesitate to check it out. We love MyGym Carlsbad!

I can’t speak highly enough about the instructors, and even the other families that go here. My son has a disability and everyone here has been accepting, patient, and kind. We had the best experience here for hosting a 3rd birthday party. I booked it early and I work closely to the location so anytime I would have questions I'd just pop in and ask away. Kayla was always so patient with me and answered any questions that I had, and I popped in basically every week or so. Come the day of, they set up EVERYTHING. I had a Mulan themed birthday party and Mulan decorations are not as common as some of the other popular ones these days. They did a beautiful job decorating nonetheless and made it into a Chinese New years theme to go along with Mulan. They even had a banner for her which was so sweet of them. We were set up in no time and once all the kids arrived (about 15 total) they did such an amazing job entertaining them with activities. Everyone commented on what an amazing job they did and all the parents were so impressed by the facility and the ability of the workers to smoothly execute everything, especially with so many rambunctious kids. They provide all the food and cake cutting for the kids and it went perfectly. I was able to bring in my own snacks, food and drinks for the adults and any additional decor that I had. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend this place to host your next birthday party. All the parents made sure to let me know that their children had such a blast that day.

Overall, it was ok. We had a birthday party a couple weeks ago for my son. In the birthday package we purchased, there were 2 people that were supposed to manage the party. At the party, I was notified there would be only 1 person. The party went on. But with 19 kids, 2 adults would have better managed the party- kids-activities-trash/cleanliness.

When it came to cash out, the lady asked for a tip. I felt bad, because she just made my son’s party happen. But, I felt cheated not having what I paid for.

I think they should notify you when they change the conditions of what you pay for. Other than that, it would be a fun place for kids.

Staff's nice. Concept overall is great. 3 critiques that could really set this place apart would be its cleanliness levels.
- Not the best ventilation system, smells of sweat and feet.
- Making sure to clean ALL the equipment/toys. Seen a few things.
- A professional carpet clean to remove dirt and smell

I am so happy I found My Gym Carlsbad for my daughter. We just started going three weeks ago, and we love it. She is so excited to get there, and never wants to leave. She tries to hold on to the door to stay. It is the best place for her to socialize with others, and do structured circle time during her class. I love how Sabrina really understands kids attention spans and appropriate activities for kids of all ages. We started with the free trial class to see how she liked it, and I love how Sabrina took the time to get to know us, and explain the classes and free play to us. She is so great about interacting with the kiddos. We signed up the very next week. I am so glad this place exists, and highly recommend it.

My son Zayden has been attending My GYM Carlsbad for almost a year now and we are soooooo happy! When he 1st started, he cried during circle time because he just wanted to run and play. He also had a hard time sharing. Now he dances during circle time and LOVES it!! He has grown so much through attending and socializing here! The staff is very kind and caring as well. My son loves this place and he has grown so much, skill-wise. It's funny, but he didn't know how to jump and now he can. I think girls learn jumping easily? He also can tumble now and it's so cute because he'll do it over and over again. We hope to put him in gymnastics when he is old enough and the skills he learns here are preparing him well.

The classes are structured well and each one is different. The way the team creates new activities and adventures is very creative. Something I appreciate is that the classes are created similarly to what you would see in adult classes: warm up, activities, closing. They dance, sing songs, have storytime, play and learn. All good stuff.

Also, Lindsey, Courtney & Shante are the best. My son absolutely adores Lindsey. All of them give each child special attention, they know all the kids names and are genuinely sweet people. Really glad we found this gym.

My 2 year old daughter is very shy and cautious on the playground, so we signed up for classes to help build her confidence and have fun too. The teachers are wonderful and the class format is perfect for this age - just the right mix of skill building, interactive songs and free play to get their wiggles out and learn some new moves. Already in just two sessions, she's really started to blossom and looks forward to it each week. The owner Skyler is so sweet and accommodating - so happy to have this place open in our neighborhood!

SO excited to have My Gym finally open (when I first noticed the Facebook ad...I called and emailed to sign up ASAP...take my money!) and so close to home! My little guy is 13 months, and currently in the Tiny Tykes/Waddlers class with Miss Lindsie (she is the best!). My Gym is very clean, a new set up every week, and the teachers are very hands on (including during Practice & Play - set up of activities and skills for the kids to explore). We love the welcome feeling every time we walk in, and everyone knows Logan by name. Couldn't ask for a more perfect option for families with kids here in North County...thank you!

I was looking for something social that my mom could take my 17 month old son to during the week while I am at work. My Gym offers the perfect interactive setting with a class-like structure. The facility is so nice and the equipment well kept. This is so important! Especially since my son loves the ball pit. ;) My mom is really enjoying taking my son to the classes and has already met some other grandmothers. My husband was able to take our son to the Halloween party tonight and sent me so many pictures of our son having a blast playing on all of the equipment. I highly recommend My Gym! There is nothing like it in North County.

We signed up in May to have something to do during the summer, opening was delayed until last week. We had our first class today and my 2 1/2 year old daughter had such a good time and it was well worth the wait! The classes are structured but not too strict that the children to lose interest. I loved that between activities they allowed the kids to run around and have “play time” because we all know that toddlers don’t have the best attention spans. Her class had only 4 other kids which was great because the instructors could focus on each kids needs individually. My daughter is already looking forward to free play and next weeks class with her new “friends” :)

I can only say good things about this new addition to the neighborhood. I have been hoping something like this would open up in North County as there's been nothing like it nearby. The space is clean, safe, and most importantly so fun! We've been to several open gyms and the equipment setup has changed several times, so it's like a whole new place for my son to explore each time. There are always several My Gym employees around, interacting with the kids, adding in some new toys, and helping with my son's favorite new activity, the zip line ;) Everyone is so lovely, and I am excited for all of our upcoming My Gym adventures!

My 23-month old son and I just got home from our first gymster class and it did not disappoint! He loved all the different activities and the ability to explore everything on his own. Some of the activities included the ball pit, tunnels, trampoline, zip line, car swing, and bars. The 50-minute class went by so fast!
