My son had his bday here and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was amazing, attentive to everything I mentioned on the phone , super engaging and flexible. Price is somewhat affordable compared to other places and all my guests raved about it.. my friend even said her daughter wants to do her birthday there :)
Again - really attentive to what we asked for! My son wanted a sonic bday so they build a cute obstacle course jumping through rings , went along with the scavenger hunt that I wanted with gems and they even added rings to the search ! It also looked like they took the time to learn about sonic before the party to mention the right things..

Shady Cancellation Practices - Avoid This Gym!

Think twice before signing up at MYGYM Encino. The classes might be fun for kids, but the management uses underhanded tactics to trap you in a membership.

I provided a formal 30-day written cancellation notice by email, exactly as I was initially told. Despite this, they charged me for two extra months. When I confronted them for a refund, the excuses began. First, they claimed they needed proof of my email. Then, after I provided it, they changed the rules and said I had to cancel through their online portal—which, of course, was impossible because the portal itself said my account "was not eligible for online cancellation."

This is a deliberate scheme to give families the runaround. They design a system where cancellation is a moving target, ensuring they can continue charging you. It's a dishonest way to treat customers. My daughter had a good time, but no amount of fun is worth dealing with such an unprofessional and shady business practice. Steer clear.

My family loves the gym and staff. My daughter regularly asks to go to mygym to play with Becky and Aaliyah.
She just had the best birthday party there and we felt right at home. Highly recommend this location.

This has been like another home for our daughter. We started coming here right as they reopened after Covid for weekly classes. The staff is incredible. They love kids and keep it so much fun and exciting for them. Every day and class is something new! We are not regulars for their camps. It’s a great break for kids when school is out. My daughter complains when it’s over, she has a blast. We even had her birthday here and it was just perfect. Eric, Misty and Becky are the kindest. Love coming here and seeing familiar faces! I know my daughter is safe here.

My Gym Encino is the BEST!! My kids have been coming here since they were 8 weeks old (they are 7 and 4-years-old, respectively) and they *still* ask when the next camp is on the schedule so they can be the first ones in line. :) We've had at least 5 parties here, too, between them, and they were all amazing. Love the staff/owners, love the facility... We are My Gym Encino fans for life!

Dear moms and dads,
If I were you, I would not take my children to My Gym in Encino. I truly believe their sole purpose is to make money. Even though the classes were good and the place was clean, I've had the worst experience dealing with them. I'm the mother of 10 months old twins and signed my twins up for one month of classes explaining to them that I live far away and would like to only try the classes for a month. They asked me if it was ok for me to leave my credit card information there so they would not have to ask for it every time they charged me; I made a mistake of accepting this. After a month, I told one of the teachers that I had to cancel and could not come back since I live far away and she did not mention to me the cancellation had to be done IN WRITING FOUR WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Anyway, after two months, I found out they were charging my credit card for classes I did not take my children to. I called and explained that I cancelled with one of the teachers and they said the cancellation had to be in writing, again leaving out the fact that since I haven't cancelled yet, I can still use my make ups by taking my kids to classes now. They encouraged me to cancel VERBALLY over the phone which was against their policy BEFORE. Finally, I talked to someone else explaining what had happened and she said she would make an exception by letting me use my make ups if I bring my kids to classes two times a week and pay for another month of classes (knowing I live far away and it would be very difficult for me to take a trip two times a week). Anyways, they're extremely rude and mean. The lady has the guts to tell me "I always read the fine print and the whole contract. You should have read the whole contract." Yes, sure...as a mother of twins, this is the first thing on my list!!! Anyway, just a warning.
