We don't teach clients how to use machines and love exercise. We teach them how to use their bodies and love themselves.

Our goal is to build a program suited to your goals and needs so that you can not only perform with us, but you can also replicate it on your own.

When you're done with your program, you should never need another trainer. You should train simply because you want to, and because you know how to.

I lifted weights more often than not for more than 10 years, so I thought I knew what I was doing. However, I saw my shortcoming just shortly after I began working with David.
I was only able work with David for few months due to my finances changing to be unable to continue the program. As for my experience with David, let me start by saying I am not someone who enjoys exercising and am in my late 50s but I had wanted to try and join another daughter hiking the AT. David was able to keep me focused for 3 months and help me focus on the areas that failed me on the hike. Hands down the best Personal Training & Personal Training Staff !

I've been training with Jesse since about summer of 2019 , shortly after I finished physical therapy for my knee injury due to playing basketball . When I first started training with Jesse , I could barely do a single push-up . I didn't even know what to do to take care of my body post work out . Jesse has not only helped me build strength around my knee as well maintain it , but he's also helped me build overall strength and balance , perfect my form when doing workouts , as well as show me different ways to relax and take care of my body for recovery time . He's also been super supportive in helping me get back on track to playing basketball competitively again so a lot of the things we've been working on are getting me one step closer to it .

The Anytime Fitness gym in Natomas where myFIT is located is excellent. There is plenty of space, great staff and well maintained equipment to get the most out of any type of workout. Best of all the place is spotless and kept very clean!

I started working with Jesse last year. Previously I had done P90X and weight lifting type workouts. I am an avid skier that needed to increase my core and leg strength and reduce pain in my ankles and lower back. All those areas of weakness have improved tremendously in a short period of time by getting personal training from Jesse.

Jesse is not only knowledgeable with the workouts but also using the foam roller and other stretching techniques. His workout routines are unique and different than the traditional weight lifting that most people do in the gym. They incorporate balance, core strength and upper/lower body coordination which is much more effective in my opinion.

I have worked with many different types of trainers over many years based on my athletic background. I would highly recommend Jesse to anyone looking to reach certain goals and get fit.

I was a little hesitant at first because of the cost of the training compared to my gym membership, but Jesse was able to help me accomplish more in 3 months than I was able to accomplish on my own in the gym over the last 5 years! Logan saved my life. I have worked with Logan for over two years and he helped me on so many levels; mentally and physically! “You are hurt but not broken”

I’ll never forget those words that David told me on the day I met him. I found him through word of mouth, from a woman who had worked with and had been helped by him.

Before David Lacayo: I had already conditioned myself to not get my hopes up because I was in my 7th month of being injured. I hurt my lower back and the pain was constant. The pain greeted me every morning and tucked me in at night. Pain kept me tossing and turning most nights. I saw so many professionals and bought creams, pills, ice packs, heating pads, back braces and support pillows. I saw chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and physical therapists. All of them tried to help but most times I was left the same or hurt further (unable to stand or walk). Some trainers were afraid to work with me at all and I didn’t blame them. What hurt me the most was the fact that I injured myself 1 year into my weight loss/fitness journey. I had lost and sustained 42 pounds and I had been constant at the gym for an entire year. When I got hurt, I raced to find a solution because the weeks away from the gym were agonizing. When I realized the injury was serious and was not getting better; I began eating my feelings and regained most of the weight I had worked so hard to lose. My back injury left me depressed, insecure and afraid to do any physical activity.

Working with David Lacayo: During my initial assessment, David assumed nothing. He was so careful and very thorough. Right away he taught me foam rolling and stretching techniques that gave me INSTANT relief and I could stand up straight with minimal to no pain! I felt like he was working with magic lol. Of course, it was only the beginning. When it came time to actually “activate” and work out; I wasn’t afraid anymore. David did the excercises right beside me and was so diligent when it came to my form and breathing. If an excercise caused any discomfort he addressed it right away and the discomfort was gone. I will say that while I was working out and breaking a sweat for the first time in 7 months, I could have cried. I felt alive and normal again. I was doing things that my injury had made me believe were impossible and that was priceless.

Today: I no longer wake up in pain and everyday I celebrate progress. My gym bag lives in my car. I'm eager to go to the gym again and I know exactly what to do when I get there. When I have a set back; it is corrected swiftly and the progress continues. David has given me knowledge that I will use for the rest of my life and I can now say that I’m back on my journey to fitness. I recommend David Lacayo in a heartbeat to anyone in pain or wanting to learn the correct way to strengthen and take care of their body. He is not only knowledgeable, he sincerely cares for his clients and that comes through in every session with him.

I've been training with Logan since August of this year and it's one of the best decisions I've made. I've been a skinny guy most of my life and have a low self-esteem because of it. I couldn't even step into a gym because I was anxious about not knowing what to do and not achieving results. I've reached out to Logan and from the very start, he made me feel at ease and that I can accomplish my fitness goals. I think that's the plus factor that MyFit Training brings in the table is that they truly care about their clients. When I retired January 2016, I was 149.5 pounds.  My first retirement goal was to lose weight and get healthy.  Within 12 months, I met my goal of 116 and have never felt better in my life!  I couldn't have accomplished this without the help from my trainer, Logan Torres.  I am definitely not an easy client.  I needed a trainer who could help rehabilitate me from the several injuries I sustained throughout years of playing sports--torn left rotator cuff, total ACL right knee, and a painful left ankle.  I initially requested a female trainer, but considering all my injuries, I was told Logan was the best.  Logan immediately made me feel comfortable, and now I couldn't imagine training with anyone else!  There are a lot of trainers in the area, but I discovered many are not experienced enough to quickly change my workout routine when I am experiencing pain.  Even when I don't feel like working out, Logan motivates me (okay pushes me) further than I would ever push myself.  Logan understands how to strengthen the muscles surrounding the injured areas to reduce the pain and increase function.  After my rehabilitation and losing 30+ pounds, I can once again do pushups and lift my arm without pain, plus I have the energy to easily dance all day long without getting tired.  It doesn't surprise me with Logan's terrific work ethic and passion for training, that he now owns and manages the Anytime Fitness in Natomas.  He hires trainers and staff that are extremely professional and friendly.  At age 62, I've never felt better in my life!!  Thank you, Logan, for giving me my quality of life back!

Logan is an awesome trainer! He is so knowledgeable in his field. Just when I think he’s run out of workouts for me to do, he introduces something new. Logan keeps up with new developments in fitness as they emerge including the diet portion of fitness. He has this great balance of pushing me to do my best but also allowing me the room to rest when I feel like I need it. I've been working out with myFIT once a week for a boot camp class for a little over a year now and it is one of the things I look forward to the most during the week, (even though I might not care to admit it :)) I attend a class once a week with a group of friends and have made some new friends along the way. I’ve been struggling with my baby weight and diet after giving birth to my 2 kids, going on and off with exercising and my continuous yo-yo dieting which damaged my metabolism completely, bottom line i lacked the motivation and consistency which affected my “ temporary “ motivation...i reached a point where i really needed to make a lifetime decision , i followed my gut and signed up David Lacayo as a personal trainer. Let me tell you it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, David changed my perception completely about exercising and nutrition/dieting, he provided me with the determination , knowledge , consistency and confidence in my self and the process to last a lifetime. His knowledge in exercise physiology and understanding of how every muscle in the body works helped me tremendously to understand my body better and how to to target the stubborn areas.

A few months ago I committed to improving my overall physical fitness. After shoulder surgery, I was cautious and I didn't want to injure myself by incorrectly using weights or resistance exercises on my own. Logan is the best in the game! I trained with Logan for 8 months and I have gained so much knowledge in the fitness world because of him.
