Unfortunately there are two aspects to my review, after a day of rain the course was flooded and muddy all over the place, I forgot my jacket at the cart return rental and it seems like the guy in charge of working at the cart return rental kept it for himself; I sent emails to both the general manager and the golf operations manager and neither bothered to reply.

Pretty good municipal course. Mostly wide open. Several holes run next to train tracks and a busy thoroughfare, but it's all playable (especially for duffers like me) and well-maintained.

Golf course was cool for price. But.... the lady serving food amd making drinks must be someones wife or aunt. Cold hotdog. Hella attitude for nothing. Charged me 26 for a hot dog and drink. Took 4 other people before dispite me being there first. Booo

Greens are well kept, nice and slow, fairways on some holes are great on most holes, and lackluster on the rest. Rough is, well.... pretty rough, in most cases. Course plays pretty flat with slight elevation changes. Cart paths need lots of work. Course staff is friendly and courteous. Didn't spend time at the pro- shop, but looks adequately stocked.

Had a good day golfing here. The course is fairly average- not overly challenging, but not too easy either, making it a nice, relaxed round.

Some areas could use a bit of maintenance, as a few spots were more sand or dirt than grass. That said, it’s still an enjoyable course to play and definitely not a disappointing experience.

I am not satisfied with the customer service I received today. I visited the range (unlimited acces for members, like myself) this afternoon and Jeff denied my request for a second bucket of balls. All he needed to do is to give me a second printed code. In my opinion, it wasn't a big deal! Jeff stated that the manager does not allow it. I told him that I usually come to use the range and people in the office never denies a second code. Jeff in the other hand wasn't very nice!

My daughter played a tournament here today. Brown patches everywhere on the fairways. It is a very badly maintained golf course and the golf cart (for very bad quality carts!) was 40 dollars. For a 9- hole tournament we still had to pay 40 dollars.

Played a round at this golf course while visiting Napa. This place was a nice treat as I wasn't planning to play but when we drove by it was a really nice layout and it was in great shape. The views were very nice and the price was so cheap. Its definitely not a top notch course but if I would live here, for the price.. Id play here once a week. Very nice place, nice staff at the club house and not very busy so you can take your time and enjoy the views and the weather. Nice Treat and nice course.

I've been playing a little over 40 years. Always a challenging entertaining time. If you play Kennedy well with no lost ball, you're doing well. I miss some of the old trees and former sand traps, but the course is in great shape from tee to green. The mud hole in the 15th fairway is a bummer but other than that, I love it! BB Napa, CA

Was a little surprised by seeing the decorations of the entrance, but after playing 18 holes, was not impressed 😁, and found out the reason why.

The golfers played with us, shared the fact that it's the same management team running both Chardonnay and this Napa golf course, so no wonder both courses are not in good shape.

Having said that, Hole 6 has a nice feeling coz of the lake. Holes 15 tee box is right by the lake, kind of interesting 😄

Meanwhile, all the greens here are islands, need to be accurate on your approach shot.

All the negative reviews I’ve seen on GolfNow are not true. This is a decent course. Of course not all areas can be perfect like a private course, but for a municipal course, it’s in a very good shape, considering we are in a drought. Try it, you won’t regret it. If you don’t play good and you keep going to the rough and hazzards, it’s your fault and not the course.

Napa Golf Course at Kennedy is a "muni" course that is a pretty tough track but could do with some TLC and some money being spent on it. It's out local course here in Napa and we belong to the Sunset Club which allows us steeply discounted green fees for a monthly $30 fee - minimum 12 months commitment.

As a result we use Kennedy for a lot of practice and like to get out there as a much as possible and work on approach shots, round the green shots, and putting.

This winter has been wet and as a result a number of the hols that are in the Napa River flood plain are impacted but even with that most of the tee boxes and greens are in great shape

Horrible muddy course. They oversold and we had to wait for a cart, couldn’t start on time and you have to hit and wait, hit and wait. Plus it’s overpriced for what you get, never golf it again.

Worst course condition ever. Not worth $65 to play on a course with pools of water all over the fairway. It's muddy and disgusting all over. If you hit your ball just a little off and lands in the rough, good luck finding it. Everything gets plugged and disappears. They should not open this course in this condition. It's a waste of time and money.

It’s pretty ridiculous that you can have people golfing out in 90+ degree heat and not offer any water for sale or at any stations. The kid in the shop said there was nothing he could do because the bar was being remodeled but I know for a fact that they have had a small cooler with drinks in the pro shop before. Pretty nice golf course, staff provided a fresh golf cart when ours ran out of juice on the 13th and they gave us a free bucket of range balls for the short delay. The staff running the restaurant was a little gruff about our seeking a vegetarian menu item on a meat only menu, so we left for lunch and came back to finish our round after. Good fast greens and a great peaceful day.
