Just finished a free intro class here with some friends. The coaches were great, and the space is not overwhelmingly big. The space feels intimate and provides a good atmosphere to focus. Neo Boot Camp is a top tier gym! The staff is amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. They are exceptional at tailoring workouts and training programs for clients at all fitness levels.
Since joining Neo I have had great success with compound lifts resulting in strength gains I thought would be unachievable with a reconstructed elbow with plates and screws in both arms.

If you're looking for a science based, systematic approach to physical therapy and physical training in the Pasadena area, look no further. NEO doesn't waste your time with marketing buzzwords and pseudoscience practices. I came to them with a shoulder injury which they helped me address with a structured PT regimen (gotta do your "homework"). They were meticulous in explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the regimen and took the time to make any adjustments needed to suit my lifestyle. Once my shoulder became pain free, we moved onto tackling my fitness goals. They put me on a meal plan and workout regimen and followed up session after session to make sure that it was optimal for my unique needs and situation. Fast forward 2 years later, and I can confidently say that at age 32, I am the most fit that I have ever been in my entire life. With NEO's help, I've recovered from a nagging injury and have achieved personal records that I didn't think possible before. Going forward, I am eager to see how much more progress I can make on my fitness journey under NEO's guidance. I have been to 3 orthopedists, 2 physical therapists, and a load of other techniques to fix my strength training related shoulder issue with no success until I found Kelvin and NEO Bootcamp.

The Neo Physical team is an excellent PT team - they are knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Most importantly, their results speak for themselves.

My mother has worked with Manny through numerous sessions and most recently he has helped her recover her strength very quickly from an injury from a fall. He customizes each session around energy levels, schedule, and weak areas and follows up with the exercises to practice every day.

I've worked with Kelvin from a back sprain from a workout related injury, and he has also helped me improve and increase my squat.

I have been seeing Kelvin for over two years now. I see him twice a week. Initially for a torn labrum in my hip, but he has also helped me with cervical instability and a number of other injuries in my hips, knees, ankles, neck, back, and shoulders. I cannot recommend him enough. I have EDS and he has been incredible at working within my limitations. I really respect his constant thirst for knowledge and growth within his field. He has changed my life. I injure so easily and he has worked WITH me to set my own personal limitations to avoid new injuries and manage existing ones. I have had HORRIBLE experiences with physical therapy in the past and he has changed that for me. Finally a doctor who is not in it for the money. He truly wants to help. I wish I had started 10 years ago!! As a hooper, I lifted weights with a personal trainer regularly, focusing on injury prevention. but as I got stronger and closer to my goal of dunking again, I'd get injured. I began with NEO Performance Lab after a life-changing back injury: I had a bulging disc in my low back. I had never dealt with a serious injury before, but I found myself crippled by nerve pain, shocks, sciatica, and muscle soreness. I reached out to Kelvin at NEO Performance Lab and told him I wanted my life back, and I was willing to do anything to get it.

Kelvin began slowly by easing me into exercises that would cause discomfort, but no pain. He understood my complaints and encouraged me to push forward. When I started with him, I couldn't bend down far enough to touch the middle of my thighs (he has picture proof); but now, after I've completed my therapy, I am pain free and have returned to the activities I love (and can touch my toes).

Physical therapy is no easy experience, and I was not prepared for the effort it required. At times I felt lost, as if my own body were failing me and I couldn't understand why. Kelvin made sure to listen to my complaints, discover the root cause of the issue, and address it directly with exercises, stretches, and inspiration. Even when I moved away for work, Kelvin stuck with me until I was able to deal with my issues independently. Now, I am proud to say that I can live a healthy, active, and fun life without persistent back pain.

I cannot emphasize enough the amount of professionalism within NEO Performance Lab. Their dedication to your goals surpasses your own, and they'll help you accomplish things that might seem unattainable. Additionally, they're pretty cool dudes. Training sessions can be unbearable/uncomfortable with the wrong people; but each week I was excited to attend therapy with Kelvin and achieve new progress.

I cannot speak more highly of the services provided by NEO Performance Lab, and I will always be grateful for the way they helped me. 11/10.

So happy with Manny and Neo performance lab. I was enrolled in the 6 week online transformation program with Manny who is very knowledgeable in what he does. I thought it would be difficult being vegetarian and completely new to fitness & exercise but Manny went above and beyond. He put together a great workout routine that had me excited about fitness & had great meal ideas working around my dietary restrictions. He helped me set realistic goals and build healthy habits with fitness & nutrition. He was great with consistently checking in to see if I had any questions/concerns and keeping me accountable. Highly recommend working with him!

I have been a martial arts student for about 10 years and have had many injuries that went untreated. But this past year I had terrible knee pain that I just couldn’t ignore anymore. I could barely bend my knee. My coach introduced me to Dr. Kelvin Lee and with months of hard work and physical therapy, I was able to regain 100% mobility in my knee.
After my knee healed up, I continued to work with Dr. Lee to weight train and strengthen my body to avoid injury. I have been injury free ever since.
My mom, sister and teammates all see Dr.Lee for any kind of ailment. I tell everyone I know to see him for rehabilitation or prevention of injury.
I have also recently began working with Dr. Lee and Emmanuel to pursue my weight loss goals. They created a special meal and workout plan for me that was easy to follow and specific for my wrestling and weight loss goals. They are an amazing team that never gives up on you and who don’t let you give up on yourself. For someone like me, with terrible body image issues, they have been nothing but kind and accommodating to me, which encourages me to keep working hard to reach my goals. I had back pain for two weeks before I decided to see a physical therapist. I was always skeptical about them but after meeting Dr. Kelvin and discussing the issue he was able to heal my back within a couple of sessions. I was having really bad pelvic pain early in my pregnancy. I tried the interventions provided by my MD and had no improvement. I then sought out help from Emmanuel and Dr. Lee, and Neo Performance Lab is unlike any other physical therapy clinics. Dr. Lee is very thorough in his assessments and designs a program to your specific needs. Emmanuel and Dr. Lee helped me follow an exercise program that helped minimize the pelvic pain. Dr. Lee and Emmanuel are so knowledgeable in their field, explaining the concepts and proper mechanics. They keep the sessions light and entertaining, while ensuring you get the work in.

Glad to say the pelvic girdle pain did not last after starting work with NEO Performance Lab. Highly recommend.

HUGE shoutout to the NEO team! Emmanuel has been working with me to help me reach my fitness/nutrition goals, and it’s been nothing short of helpful. Manny is amazing. I’ve worked with him for several months for personal training. I needed to get back in shape and he’s helped me in reaching my goals. Manny is knowledgable about fitness and strength training. He tailored an exercise plan that fits my schedule and needs. He’s also a great teacher. He fixes my form and is great at explaining concepts and body mechanics. And most importantly, he’s a great person. Friendly with a sense of humor. Our sessions are a highlight of my week. Dr. Kelvin Lee is a genius! I've had many therapists over many years and he is by far the best... completely beyond compare. I first met Dr. Kelvin Lee after several visits to a neurologist who diagnosed me with radiculopathy (I had a pinched nerve in my neck). The pain had developed over several years but escalated during the pandemic. Before meeting with Dr. Lee I had significant pain and tingling issues that radiated from my neck down my arms and into my fingers. It was distracting to my life and well-being.

From the start, Dr. Lee was excellent. He was on time, did an excellent assessment, and let me know of the course of treatment. He created a step-by-step plan and helped me implement the plan. When I would hit road blocks he consulted with me and helped clarify what was occurring. He was available to teach and consult with me. He helped me optimize my training sessions.

I am currently working with Dr. Lee to build strength and learn how to take better care of myself. He has taught the skills to address problems as they present and likely prevent any future issues. My treatment with Dr. Lee changed my life - it helped me live a far more functional and happy life without chronic pain and tingling.

On a personal note, Kelvin is a pleasure to know. He's genuine, caring, learns about your life, and is committed to excellence. I trust him and can attest to the very positive impact he had on my life. I would highly recommend Kelvin to anyone!
