Seeing Nic for MAT has been life changing! I've tried all of the top therapy methods for chronic back issues and sports injuries. MAT has made everything else obsolete. I chose Nic because he's not only MAT certified, but in all of the Rx and Mastery levels as well. This expertise shows in his practice. Every time I've gone for a session he has exceeded my expectations. It's amazing how such bad pain can disappear so quickly. Even when I'm feeling good, I keep coming back because he always improves my performance to the next level. I can't recommend Nic and Neuromuscular Fitness Training enough!

Nic has an amazing understanding of the body and how to train the body to heal itself using his Muscle Activation Techniques. After injuring my shoulder during an e-bike crash, I went to Nic for physical therapy/rehab/exercises.

I suffered a AC Separation and the pain and lack of mobility in my shoulder was unbearable. When this injury occurred, I couldn't even lift a glass of water, close a door, or put on a t-shirt. The pain was so horrendous and range of movement was nothing.

After working with Nic 1-on-1, my shoulder is better than ever and back to normal. His timeline of when I would be healed was spot on too. I highly recommend Nic and his services to anyone looking to gain mobility, heal your body, and lower your biological age.

Nic is awesome!!! I would describe it as a mix of physical therapy and a workout. The body can elicit pain in one location, but the problem is actually elsewhere. Typical workouts or stretches don’t get it or target it specifically. Been searching for a long time - finally someone that gets it! It hurts SO good!!!

Nic has been instrumental in my healing journey here in San Diego. I started sessions with him in February, and have been progressing well over our time together. I felt immediate relief after our first session- it made such a difference. And as we’ve worked together I’ve been feeling much more confident with physical activity. Before coming in I was not working out or doing physical activity because of pain and fear of further injury. Now I walk, run, dance and take workout classes. He also provides videos that he’s recorded to help with strengthening for in-between sessions. They are simple, short, and effective- exactly what I needed.

Just had my first visit today after about 5-6 weeks of back pain. I tried a TENS unit, an inversion table, hot/cold therapy, rest, massage…and although I felt better than when the initial injury occurred, I was still frustrated I was still not operating at my peak (difficulty getting out of bed, sleeping, folding forward, even sitting). I was recommended to visit Nic by a co-worker. He was very kind and thorough in my initial appointment. By the end, I felt a bit better in my back. Even on the car ride home, I seemed to progressively feel better. I walked more confidently than I have in an entire month. I already scheduled my next session with him. Can’t wait!

I came to Nic wirh excruciating groin and hip pain after a failed last resort cortisone injection into my hip.
I have dealt with hip pain for three years due to abdominal adhesions, sports related activity, hip dysplasia, overuse and aging. I was experiencing limited range of motion (could barely put my own shoe on) and constant stabbing pain in my groin.
Nic succeeded to get my Muscles to work the way they should be working and helped me recover my range of motion limitations and alleviate groin pain. I experienced pain relief immediately after each treatment session! Nic is focused and educated in the MAT technique. Nic established a plan for me to continue to build on the gains we have made during each session. I cannot thank Nic enough for the relief of pain I feel! I only wish I had found him sooner.

The daily workout is excellent for seniors! I love the flexibility and strength session. The core session has helped with my ability to bend, stoop, and reach for items that used to make me sore. After a fall, I was suffering from nerves being pinched in my neck area that resulted in pain which made it almost impossible for me to work at the computer. A friend referred me to Nic -- and I'm so thankful she did. Over time, Nic's muscle activation process, awakened muscles in the area that were not working properly and now I'm back to working at my desk pain free. His full body approach has given me more energy and strength for my daily activities and also helped with my balance and being able to avoid falls. I recommend the approach whole heartedly. I am so happy to have discovered Nic and NFT! I was at a desperate place with my fitness ability. After experiencing a car accident, I was having difficulty getting my body to function correctly. Nick saved me.
Before my partial knee surgery, I was limping and my gait was off.

Nic is AWESOME! If you've never tried MAT... it is a GOD SEND! As a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I am always contending with injuries. At one point, I had a terrible case of sciatica and couldn't even put my socks on. After just a couple of MAT treatments, I was back to new... and the treatments have held for me since. Nic is a master at getting you back to full strength. I can't recommend his services enough.
