North County Academy of Dance is committed to providing quality dance training to the North County area. Our hope is to instill in each student the focus, work ethic, passion and technique needed to excel, while infusing them with a lifelong appreciation for the art of dance. Our diverse program promotes the highest standards in classical ballet training as well as in more contemporary dance forms, giving our students the opportunities they need to pursue their goals in an encouraging environment.

North County Academy of Dance has the best teachers, the best dancers, and the best performances. The teachers are knowledgeable, skilled, caring, and fun. I have been coming to this studio off-and-on for myself and my boys for over 10 years. Their family pricing plans make dance classes more affordable too. This is the best dance education you can get.

Beautiful Location! Excellent dance choregraphy in all styles especially beautiful ballet, Jazz, lyrical, Hip/Hop, contemporary to name a few. They have many specialty classes for the growing professional ballerina. Fun atmosphere, nice community of families and staff. You do not want to miss the beautiful Nutcracker production in December or Recital in the Summer! My daughter and her friends love the dance studio!

Great place for dance lessons. Owners Pablo and Cassy are great, also have a great staff of instructors with them. Definitely recommend them if you or your little ones want to learn.

My child was in class with Jessica. She was patient but at the end of one class, she had the nerve to ask me if my child had an IEP for school. When I responded, "no", she said, "okay, so not yet."
My child does not have an IEP nor do they have a learning disability. It was extremely inappropriate for her to ask me this question or even suggest this. This is extremely unprofessional.
Once the classes we paid for were over, we withdrew. It's unfortunate because they enjoyed their time but we will not be back because of Jessica.

Unfortunately it is VERY difficult to drop your child from a class. I have been trying for the last two weeks and wasn't able to get a hold of anyone so now I am being charged for the whole month of April too. We have not been to class for 3 weeks and no one has even noticed. Very strange! However, that also describes how impersonal this larger institution for dance can be. We have not had a terrible experience overall, but it hasn't been a favorite either. Especially with this removal process, it is frustrating to say the least. Even after calling and coming in person I still have to email them (and they didn't give me an email to use either, I just have to "look it up online") just so that I can "make sure my daughter can really get dropped from the class." So! If you sign up, this is your heads up! It isn't easy to stop paying for classes! Thanks for reading and I hope this helps someone.
