My daughter absolutely loves this gymnastics program! The coaches are amazing — super patient, encouraging, and really know how to make learning fun. She’s gained so much confidence, strength, and coordination, and she’s always excited to show us what she’s learned each week.

If you are looking for a gymnastics team that has an adequate coach to student ratio and enough room for your daughter to be in a class even after being admitted to a team, and if you’re looking for a gymnastics gym that has price transparency especially for uniforms, this is NOT it.

This is what they are requiring all women’s gymnastics team members, regardless of level to pay for the uniforms. They didn’t provide the prices up front when we signed up for the team, told us it’s a requirement and is almost double the cost as last year’s:

Additionally, even though we made the team, they had no availability for most of 5 days they had classes, leaving us with just 2 days to choose from when we are required to attend at least 2 classes. Classes start at 330p leaving little room to make it from
School to gymnastics practice for parents who have to commute from far and who have to work. There’s at least 12 girls per class and a lot of the time in practice is waiting around.

The service here is lacking. The responses from the team head coach and owners give a “this is what it is and we won’t accommodate you” attitude. It really seems to be all for the money.

So many parents have complained and they don’t care. This place is a disappointment.

Our kids have been learning gymnastics here for the past year, and it’s been such a wonderful experience! Unfortunately, we’re moving back to Korea, and the kids are really sad to leave.

A big thank you to Coach Danielle and Coach Airyana for their amazing guidance and support. When our kids first started, they were just beginners struggling with cartwheels—but now they can do back hip circles and pullovers on the bar, and their bodies have become so much stronger!

This rating is specifically for kids group classes and day camps.

My daughter has gone a few of their day camps which felt like a great convenient option. Her and her friend (both who are shy/sweet/calm), mentioned how some of the kids were so mean and no one who would put them in check.

For group classes, in her trial group class itself we had a bad experience. The teacher was so inattentive. After my daughter slid down from a spot, the kid after her rammed into her and went about her merry way. My child was sobbing and the teacher was too busy chatting up with another teacher. Upon noticing, she simply patted my kid's head like a pet while going on chatting with the other teacher, no real concern or consolation. I pulled her out because she started sobbing uncontrollably. Couldn't believe how careless they were even with parents watching!

I also can't believe it's their teaching style to only show the 1st kid how to do something and everyone else is just supposed to follow. The amount we pay for these classes is too much for the lack of care and instruction.

1:1 instruction is much better and the only service we've had 4-5 star-wprthy experience with.

We have had all positive experiences at Gymminy Kids 4S! The staff is always friendly and has been very helpful as I try to figure out how to use homeschool flow-through funds for classes. The environment is open, fun and friendly.

My daughter really enjoys her class, and I enjoy that I can watch the whole thing from the observation deck. I can tell she is growing in strength and skills. Her teacher pays attention to small details and form, but is not overly firm or pushy which is great for my daughters age/level.

Another big benefit is the playroom next to the observation deck where my younger kiddo can play which sis is in class, and I can keep an eye on both.

We plan on being at Gymminy for as long as my daughter loves gymnastics and I’d recommend it to anyone!

We absolutely love Gyminny and think it's a stellar way to get the kids' bodies acclimated to movement. Our kids were in from ages 2-5y and we still go to their holiday camps. We can't say enough about their activities, Parents Night Out, and staff who are truly phenomenal! Great way to wear out the kids! Their holiday camps are a blast for the kids, and they're always so excited for the bungees! We had our kids' birthday parties here and they loved it along with 20 of their friends. Parents raved about our kids' birthday parties bc it was completely hands-free for all the parents. They could watch their kids from the second floor viewing deck and see their kids having a stellar time. Gyminny hands down is a phenomenal springboard for future sports!

There are many friendly and professional staff here that I feel my kids would have fun and learn to do gymnastics. My son was in the early learning program for over a year. We loved it. It was too bad the program got cancelled. As for the half day/full day camp, it just needs to get to a reasonable price. My kids went to fun summer camps all day for half the price the gym charges. Having just one bathroom for everyone who goes there is not reasonable or sanitary. My kids refuse to go to this gym because "the bathroom smells really bad". If the price is more reasonable and the facility is being cleaned well with more restrooms available, I might enroll my kids in lessons again. I do not want to force my kids to go to this gym when they don't feel comfortable using the one and only bathroom or they are bothered by the maintenance of the environment.

My three children ages 3.5, 8, and 10yo have been going to Gyminny Kids 4s Ranch for the last year during school breaks and more recently, summer canps. The facility is run so efficiently and all the coaches, staff are always very friendly and accommodating. My children love going to the camps and as a parent, I appreciate the flexibility of choosing between half to full days. We visited the Gyminny several times for PDO (Parents Day Out) and had my daughter's birthday party hosted at the Gyminny.

Overall we enjoy coming to this place as the PDO are 3 hr long and parents get to be take off from childcare - can hang out in the observatory area on the second floor.
The birthday party experience was good -- the staff were accommodating enough to put up a Frozen themed party even it was not listed on their website. The decorations were very thoughtful. The kids got to play bungee cords and other obstacle courses. Three event hosts helped us with the party setup, organizing the event and etc. Parents got to chat and relax while watching the kids enjoying their play as well.
Bonus point: the gym occasionally sends complimentary visit passes via mail, email or prints. Hopefully we can come back more often to take advantage of that!

My daughter and son attended classes at Gyminny Kids for approximately 8 - 10 months, starting when they were 6 and 4 years old. They both thoroughly enjoyed their gymnastics experience, progressing through Pre Cricket, Cricket, Super Crickets, and Cartwheels classes.

I'd like to express my gratitude for Coach Nick, who showed exceptional patience, kindness, and calmness, particularly with my son, who faced challenges with delayed language learning. Coach Nick's encouragement and support made him my son's favorite person at the gym for a long time.

Additionally, I want to extend my thanks to Coach Riley, who provided invaluable assistance to my daughter, who is very emotional and nervous. Coach Riley's patience and encouragement played a crucial role in helping my daughter overcome her fears and excel in some skills!

Unfortunately, due to personal schedule conflicts, we had to discontinue their lessons. The entire coaching team at Gyminny Kids demonstrated friendliness and professionalism, catering to the specific needs of children based on their ages and skill levels. The staff was also accommodating and flexible regarding scheduling and makeup classes.

We went to an open gym day and this place top notch. I've taken my 5 year old to many gyms for kids, but this one ranks among the best. There's tons of variety with balance beams, a rock wall, and a large trampoline ramp kids can just run and bounce on.

Hi! My daughter has been coming here since she was. Started with village learning with Mrs Alexis & Mrs O. She loved coming for half a day. My daughter has been a part of this gymnastics club for four years now, and she absolutely loves it! The coaches have been instrumental in nurturing her passion for gymnastics, and the facilities are top-notch. However, there are a few concerns that I feel need addressing.
Firstly, the consistent increase in the pay rate over the years has become a significant issue for many parents, including myself. While I understand that costs may rise, it feels like the club's focus is shifting away from fostering a love for gymnastics to prioritizing profits. I hope they can find a balance that accommodates both the financial needs of the club and the families.
Secondly, the increasing number of kids per class has also raised some concerns. While I appreciate that more children are being given the opportunity to participate, it sometimes hinders the quality of instruction. The coaches seem to struggle to provide individual attention to each child, which affects their progress and growth in the sport.
Despite these concerns, I must acknowledge the dedication and talent of the coaches. They have a genuine passion for gymnastics and do their best to make the classes engaging and fun. I hope the management takes these concerns into consideration and works towards maintaining the high standards that initially drew us to this club.

I absolutely love North County Gymnastics and Gyminny Kids! The coaches here are fantastic, and they always make sure to include everyone, making each class enjoyable and inclusive. Taylor and Aide at the front desk are incredibly sweet and welcoming, adding a friendly touch to the overall experience. Aide remembered my kids after not being here for one year and welcomed them with a huge hug. Just a truly wonderful team. One of my favorite things about this gym is the observation area upstairs, where you can sit at the viewing area and watch all the kids in action below – it's such a joy to see their progress and enthusiasm! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a positive and supportive gymnastics environment.

My daughter had a summer camp at this place, this was the second day of the camp,when I take my daughter home,she complains her foot feel hurts. I watched it and I thought she stepped on something and got scratched. So I helped her rinse with water, but she resisted. Only then did I discover there was an object on her foot. I used tweezers to remove it and was astonished to find it was a piece of glass. I'm not sure if there are more glass fragments inside. I might have to wait for the results after going to the hospital. I will continue to update. I called the front desk, and they just mentioned that someone broke a glass today and they will be more careful.

A barefoot activity space should ideally be safe and free from such incidents. The safety of children should indeed be a top priority. It is difficult to comprehend how glass shards could be present in such an environment. Water cups typically wouldn't shatter on padded surfaces. It is important to investigate the cause and take measures to prevent similar occurrences. Ensuring proper maintenance, regular inspections, and adhering to safety protocols can help create a safer environment for children's activities.

We love this place and our girls have been coming here for years. We’ve done the day camps which are year-round! They are great because they are available any random day that you need to get the kids out of the house. We also do weekly one hour classes. It’s great exercise and the kids absolutely love it!

Such a pleasure being back here at Gyminnie Kids! We had come for several years when the kids were much younger (2-5). Now back here (Jan 2023) with age 9 and age 7 and enjoying new class offerings for their level! Great open floor plan, balcony seating for parents so your kids can still see you too during most classes (great for settling new class nerves)! Thank you for all your guys do!

Overall very positive experiences with North County Gymnastics! My daughter has been in a weekly class for three years now and has continued to advance in strength and skill. The gym was getting a bit crammed so I’m thankful they opened another location. We had a birthday party there as well. Kids had so much fun and would have been greater to have more time for food, cake and cleanup.

Attended a Birthday party here and my son had a blast! Only suggestion I have for owners/staff is to not just march the kids off without telling the parents what’s happening. We arrived and within minutes 2 people we had never met wearing costumes started waking my child away from the room/us into the gymnasium. Most parents just let it happen but I followed and was told no parents allowed and we could watch upstairs. I had no chance to tell my 4yo child what was happening, who they were going with, where I would be and if they needed me, what to do or who to tell. I finally caught up with my child and was able to tell them what was going on. We’ve been to many Birthday parties before and never experienced anything like this. Everything seemed ok but honestly I felt uneasy the entire time and still do. This could have been avoided if the staff at check in told us what was going to occur or in bold print on waiver or something. At one point we could no longer see our child from upstairs as the staff took them to the bathroom. WTH? Some random staff taking my child to bathroom without telling us. Way too young of a child (3-5yo’s) for this to be happening. After the bathroom incident, I stood on other side of wall so I could see my child and was told I was blocking the walkway and had to go in our room or upstairs. Not ok. It’s one thing to take your child to a weekly class there and understand the dynamic/gymnasium rules/staff, but we were a first time family attending a Birthday party. Suggest consideration in changing your approach, especially with young kids and at least letting parents know what’s happening, staff introducing themself, etc. Thank you!
