Do not sign up for an annual commitment to this gym. I have reached out four times in email and have even called to cancel and they just tell me to email and then they don’t respond. I explained that it’s difficult for me to come in to cancel due to work hours. They have said that they will cancel it but have continued to charged me $92 a month for multiple months now as well as now charging me an annual fee. I have heard similar stories from multiple people saying they have had the same issues! The communication and cooperation of this company is very poor. I would not recommend!

Signed up for a 12 month contract stating the charge is $39 per month. Gym charged me more for the last month of the contract and is not able to give a valid explanation. The explanation given was "increase" in rate, then "credit card fees". They are not able to HONOR their own contract that they are making their members sign. Your contract has all the months and prices listed, you need to honor those prices each month through the end of contract.
I had been enjoying this gym but this really left a bad taste. Instead. I'm being referred to read some paragraph about giving consent to contact that also clearly states "your consent is not a condition of purchase". Different stories from different people yet they can't credit what they charged more on. But they'll be quick to take your money or hold you in a contract. Do as we say not as we do!? Do the right thing for the member where you are wrong. The managers in the gym are not able to help and customer service which is a regional manager is no help either.

Good gym, good equipment, and not overcrowded. Membership tier programs need work, feels like cringy contracts that you can't get out of and the way they tier pricing is predatory. The only way the membership makes sense is to purchase for a year. For someone working in the area seasonally this can present a hassle. Christian was a great help regardless of the terrible policy.

Staff is great and welcoming every morning and in the evening when I go to the gym. Facility’s are always clean from the equipment to the locker rooms makes the start and the end of my day easier. Only thing I would encourage the facility owners to do that I have experienced at other gyms would be to add sweat towels in the locker rooms for the sauna and showers in case you forget your own towel to bring. Other then that my experience has been great.

Overall the gym is great, staff are awesome. But I’ve been going to NS for about a year now, and one thing I’ve noticed is that if a piece of equipment breaks beyond repair, it’s gone forever. Nothing is ever replaced. Multiple sets of heavy dumbbells have only one and it’s starting to become a big inconvenience. Every time I ask when things will be replaced I just get the run around and the owner is blamed. This is a steady issue for all the regulars that go there and is talked about frequently. So if this issue would be resolved then this gym would be 5/5 best in town.

We love going here. I swim only, while my hubby uses gym equipment. He like the selection of weights, rowing, climbing, equipment etc. The pool is outside but kept at 84 degrees so once in it's a nice swim. Pool could use a resurfacing to make it appear newer but it's great for what I need and not busy. Staff are very friendly.

STAFF IS ARROGANT, CRUDE, AND RUDE. Further they use cleansers during business hours that are lung irritants. That's right - go in, do a little work out and come out coughing up blood. I have never gone onto ANY business, not in 60 years, that had such poor air quality! The air was so tainted that I had to turn around and run out of the building or die cuz my lungs had closed up. Nobody should be exposed to air quality this bad - period - much less work out in it. I was beyond disappointed.

This is a very nice gym... The floor plan is wide open and feels very spacious... They don't offer towel service and they don't have a Jacuzzi or a Spin Instructor; but they have a lot of free weights and very nice machines... Plus, they are open 24/7... Worth a look if you are thinking about joining a gym..

I wanted to start by thanking the staff and everyone that works so hard to not only be open, but a rad club! I remember when i first walked in! back in January2021 high ceilings , Open spaces , great equipment, sauna, and great layout of equipment! Super cool and friendly staff! Something that I noticed the other day that was pretty amazing. Alisha one of the most dedicated staff was working out on the stair climber , and i noticed it was extremely busy at the front desk , she stoped her work out and ran up to the front to help and assist members. I have been trying to cancel my membership with NS Fit for approximately 6 months after leaving the area. Multiple emails, phone calls, and texts messages confirming that my account has been cancelled followed by continued monthly charges which required me to cancel recurring debit charges through my bank. I've now received debt collection threats from NS Fit for continued charges despite assurance that my account has been canceled multiple times. In the midst of the COVID epidemic, one would hope they would understand uncertain times and work with customers. Unfortunately, this gym has chosen to exploit patrons either intentionally or through gross incompetence.

Very dishonest business. I could not fully rest at night until I completed this review for people to see. This gym single handedly ruined my trust in all gyms.

They love to state "you must come in person to cancel your membership". This is an example of their dishonesty (you can mail in a written cancelation to the address listed in the contract under "cancellation" section). However, I would definitely send certified mail and have a notary verify the contents, because I don't trust this business. I also don't think they would actually sign for mail, but I can not prove that (I want to emphasize that I can not prove if they would or would not sign for certified mail).

It appears their money making plan is to basically take advantage of people, because it's cheaper to pay a few hundred bucks to this gym than paying a lawyer approximately $250.00 an hour to represent you in civil court (this gym does use collection agencies). Just save yourself the hassle and don't give them your money. Even after you cancel your membership and pay all their fees you still wonder if the very unofficial looking receipts they provide to you will hold up in court (they sent me to a collection agency for less than $100.00)

Our society does not need any gym that takes advantage of people for money like this... don't fuel their morally wrong industry!

Signed up in October at the $9.99 special rate they had. Been getting billed $19.99 since and after talking to a manager, she said I agreed to $19.99 rate and she can’t change it. Not a bad gym and never usually too busy, but there's usually a shortage of disinfectant spray bottles. Even with spray bottles, I see people not wipe down machines all the time, like once every visit or every other visit at the least. There is an on site daycare which I would imagine is great (I don't have kids so I never used it), however the downfall is sometimes kids are running around the gym. They also advertise being 24 hours but they're not. Watch out for contracts here: I joined under a contract for $30 a month but now they offer the same plan for $10 a month. They offered some people a buy out for $50 which I would have been cool with, but I was told I wasn't allowed to till after one year. So I have to wait a year, THEN pay $50 for the ability to downgrade? That's a pretty shyster business tactic. I asked to speak to someone about a possible early termination 4 different times, and even though there was a "ticket in the system," nothing ever happened. So, I emailed corporate myself and asked for a good will resolution, which was back in December but I still haven't received a response. Being an unemployed veteran I figured they would work with me but no. Ask around and read other comments and you'll see different people are told different information in regards to this. They had no problem hounding me to start personal training sessions even after I told them I was unemployed though 🙄

Our account was billed improperly for multiple months. When we cancelled our account, they continued to bill us and didn't actually cancel the membership. When our membership was successfully cancelled they put the cancellation date for weeks after it was requested to be cancelled to continue charging us. When we asked for contact numbers or emails for someone above the manager we were told no. The manager at this gym (Kaelyn I believe) and the NS billing department, specifically Alma, tell their members one thing, and then do not actually do what was promised. The gym associates all communicate different responses to the members of this gym, and there is no continuity between corporate, the manager, and their staff members. The 800 number to reach someone outside of the branch does not work and has either been changed or is no longer in service. I will never get a membership with NS Fit again, and currently my complaint with the Better Business Bureau is unresolved.

The gym changed from 24/7 to bankers hours several months before I left. They refused to prorate my membership accordingly. I was paying $29.99, not to mention yearly fees. For the two months I attempted to change my membership for their new “$9.99” plan. They would not let me, although new members could be on that plan, minus a $65 startup fee. They told me that I wouldn’t have that fee when I was able to change my membership. Today, 10-1-18, they said I could change my membership to $9.99. Which came with a fee of $40. They also told me that i would have an annual “rate garuntee” fee of $39.99 ($15 more than the previous annual garuntee fee). They were unwilling to work with me, even when I talked about cancelling my membership. They were also unwilling to work with me about not cancelling my membership two months ago and becoming a “new” member. Even though I only didn’t do that because they told me I wouldn’t have a startup fee. If I could give negative stars I would. They’re snakes.
