With a little over two years of training with Ed starting with up to 4x a week I can confidently say that Ed is one of the best trainers I have ever worked with.

I had a multitude of previous injuries that Ed was able to work around and now I move around mostly pain free in all ranges of movement.

As someone that has had a prior history of major surgeries from injuries (both knees and feet) I am very selective in choosing whom to work with on my fitness journey… in being able to train with Ed Fuchs I feel that I couldn’t have opted for a more knowledgeable and technically skilled instructor. I've been working with Ed for about 6 months now. I've worked with other trainers in the past and you can absolutely tell the difference. He is of a different caliber, he's the real deal. I have an incredibly unpredictable work schedule that changes week to week, working days/nights/holidays/weekends and being on call. Ed is flexible and tailors each workout to what you need in that moment. He also encourages you outside of the gym, focuses on the fact it's a 24 hour job rather than just 1 hour in the gym. He even sent me recommendations for when I was sick with a bad cold and needed to rest up at home. My nutrition is the focus on weeks when I cannot make it into the gym, we adjust workouts based on how I'm feeling, and he is incredibly supportive in and out of the gym. I've lost both weight and inches. I've gained strength and confidence. He has a deep understanding and passion for fitness that makes you realize you're in good hands. There's a reason to every single workout or adjustment he makes you do in the gym, with a strong focus on the basics and good form. Besides feeling/looking better physically, I've also come to rely on the workouts for my mental health. I always feel better after I walk out of a session with Ed. Ed is not your run-of-the-mill personal trainer. He deeply cares about his clients and goes above and beyond to help their progress. He diligently keeps up to date on the newest advances in exercise science and applies them to his coaching. He has even attended Physical Therapy seminars and adopted some of their methodologies. As a busy professional, I don’t want to waste my time just “doing something” in the gym or figuring out for myself which of the million online resources are reliable. I’ve had a personal trainer before that had me doing “interesting” exercises but achieved no results. I’ve also bought an expensive online program that was promising but I didn’t have anyone to monitor whether I was doing the exercises with the proper form or to customize exercises for me specifically. I joined a 28 day challenge with Ed during the holidays (WHO DOES THAT?!), but I was hoping it would give me the motivation to start the new year out right when it ended.

2 weeks I traveled the whole time and the other two I was extremely sick! But I was still encouraged everyday where I WAS!

Ed encouraged me to rest and move as I could. He directed me for the environment that I was in. He reached out constantly to check on me, see how I was doing meeting my goals, asked how we could adjust, and asked if I had any questions.

Although my challenge didn’t look like (location wise) what I thought it would (being on the gym everyday killing it), Ed made it possible for me to be successful in my EVERYDAY, REAL WORLD LIFE! Hello, my name is Kelly. I am writing to tell you about my journey with Ed Fuchs and his nutrition/Exercise program. I was feeling down about my weight and almost unsure how I could find a solution to my all around weight issues. Ed reached out to me and told me about Nutritional Mastery. We had a free consultation, and it was a very informative talk. I was able to learn that I could join an online platform with Ed across the country to help me.I live in Cincinnati, Ohio and Ed is in Los Angeles, Ca. I was amazed at how easy it was to access my daily lessons and exercises through an App. Ed was always there coaching me through phone calls, video calls, and emails. In the beginning, I thought I was going to just gain a new way to lose weight. In which I did start losing pounds and a lot of inches off my body. What really amazed me over time, was that I was actually learning a whole new mindset about how I was eating, and what I was eating. I was able to buy a blender, and bought weights for my house. I was able to work out from my home and started building muscle as well. I wasn’t lost at the grocery store anymore, I was buying super healthy food, and food that tasted great. I had suffered from depression and anxiety, through this program all of that changed for the better. I started doing my online lessons, and feeling better about myself. I didn’t feel alone in my weight loss journey anymore after 38 years of life. Slowly, my kids noticed a change in me, and started working out with me and enjoying healthier meals and routines. I found a program that doesn't use diet pills or quick fixes. It’s an actual whole new way of living that will stay with me the rest of my life. I had some bumps in the road, and things weren’t always perfect. But, I have lost close to 30 pounds overall and 25 inches through my journey with Ed. I have toned up and have built muscle. I feel so much better mentally and physically overall. I am continuing to learn and build lifelong lessons through this program. Ed Fuchs goes above and beyond for his clients. So after having some health issues and being annoyed with my weight, health, comfort, and overall well being, I decided to finally bite the bullet and give Nutritional mastery a try. Ed, my coach made it EXTREMELY easy. Laid out everything, meals, macros, how much intake I needed vs the amount I needed to burn. Multiple recipes and options so I never get bored. On top of that consistent coaching and check ins without nagging. Always encouraging, never disparaging, and able to pin point the issues that can come up and how to handle them. After losing 14 pounds in 13 days I already feel way better, no bloating, no uncomfortable feelings, no aside reflux which was becoming a real annoyance. Also the change in the amount of energy I have from filling up on healthy foods is life changing. Going from needing an energy drink to get through an 8 hour shift, to being able to do a double shift on meals, protein, and a full nutrition greens drink with energy to spare after. The body feeding off its fat storage instead of excess calories is an amazing feeling and way different. Im only partway through the program I'm in now, but I plan to stick with the majority of the principles in the future after it's over cause it just makes sense.

7 months ago I started strength training and learning more about a plant based nutrition with Nutritional Mastery . For me this is another form of therapy in addition to my therapy. There are not enough positive sentiments I can share about Ed and his coaching. My journey with Ed started several years ago. I was relatively new to strength training at the time, and had been running on the starting strength program independently for about a year. I had always been a skinny kid and wanted to put on some muscle. I had seen some great initial gains, but both my weight and strength improvements had plateaued. My body was fatigued from the repetitive nature of the workouts, and my excitement for training was waning.

I knew I needed a more diversified program. I met Ed, and he understood my needs immediately. My goal was not to be a shredded body builder, but I did want to make steady strength gains and put on muscle. Ed provided a great training format, and knows how to push you to achieve your best results. Ed also made the utmost effort to educate me on the purpose of what I was doing - the function of different movements, how to build a complementary nutritional program, and how to measure progress. He takes an incredibly well-rounded approach that really gives you the tools and confidence to understand what you need to do to attain your goals. I saw an acceleration of progress immediately after starting with Ed. 6 months in, I put on about ten pounds and added five inches around my chest.

Thanks Ed, for being such a great trainer and friend. You certainly set the highest of bars for what it means to be a coach!
