Rude and not welcoming studio teacher at Beverly Hills location! Watch out! My first time, just purchased membership, walking in to the studio - no one around to meet, patiently asking other attendees for a teacher, from the back of the class barely dragging legs he comes, and behaves as I owe him $100. Asking him multiple times what his name is, 0 reply. Zero help to check me in or answer any questions. He clearly feels annoyed. I booked membership at BH location and showing him, he doesn’t care, pointing me me reservation appeared for some reason at Studio City. Ok, asking if I can take his class instead - he denied and asked me to leave, turned his back to me and walked away! J Williams is his last name as it appears in the schedule. Asking immediately full refund back! He was obviously not in the mood and ruined the entire experience for me and for other students who witnessed it. Asking @admins to get in touch with me please.

Addicted to this amazing studio! Super clean, work outs are challenging in the best way, all the teachers have the best energy, great music, and it’s a beautiful place to start or end your day at! I couldn’t recommend Oblix more!

I will be very specific - Justine is an absolutely incredible Pilates instructor! Her knowledge, energy, and attention to detail make every class both challenging and enjoyable. She has a way of guiding and motivating that keeps you pushing yourself while ensuring proper form and technique. Her passion for Pilates is truly inspiring, and she creates such a positive and welcoming environment. I always leave her classes feeling stronger, more aligned, and refreshed!

She's the only one who will make me come to a 7pm class after a day of work!

This is hands down one of the best studios I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to quite a few. I’m usually very particular about my experiences and rarely write reviews, but this place truly deserves it. From the moment you walk in, you feel at ease—the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and calming. Instead of dreading a workout, this studio makes you want to go, and it has become one of the best parts of my morning routine. The instructors are incredible, genuinely invested in your success, and the manager, Jeseeka, is one of the sweetest and most welcoming people you’ll meet.

You can tell she put her whole heart into this studio—the ambience, decor, architecture, and equipment are unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It’s clear how visionary she is, as other studios have started opening up and replicating her design concept. When others are trying to copy your ideas, it’s proof that you’ve created something truly special. Highly recommend!

This is genuinely my favorite Pilates studio I’ve ever been to, their machines are unique in their own way thus making them personally superior to any other lagree machine I’ve tried. The ambience and energy— all immaculate. The instructors each have their own twist to teaching while still being uniform in sequence so it’s been nice to switch it up and try every instructor and feel confident that you’re getting a quality full body burn! If you’re thinking about trying, let this be your sign!

Wonderful pilates experience at Oblix! I believe my instructors name was Moujan, she led a great class. I liked the flow she led the class into and variations. Also, I had some questions via email and Jeeseka was very prompt and helped me out so much.

I really wanted to love Oblix but this is far from the luxury experience they advertise.

My first class here I arrived 15 minutes early to get the run down. Maya was the teacher so I walked over and said “hey this is my first time here” she looked super confused as to why I was talking to her and told me to just grab a machine. I’ve done reformer before but everywhere’s machines are different including Oblix especially. I picked a machine and about 1 minute before the class started Maya said “you’ve done Pilates before right?” I said yeah I’ve done Lagree for a while and she said ok you’ll be good then. The springs and machine were very different from anything I had done before so much so that halfway through the class I realized my machine had been caught on something which was impacting my entire workout. I just thought it was so weird that no one was checking on me or offering to help/explain anything.

I took my second and third class with Jaloni which was a good workout and well structured but I bc of the first class I wanted to try one more teacher before committing to an expensive membership.

This is where I lost it.

I mistakenly tried to take Deena’s class. I joined the waitlist and saw online PER THE STUDIO POLICY that if people don’t show up 5 minutes into class then their spot is given to a waitlister so I went to the class in hopes that I could get in.

I arrived and confirm with the teacher who said she waits 5-7 minutes before giving spots away (different from website stated policy but standard!). There were a ton of people missing at 11:32 so she said I could grab a reformer and start working out. A few more people arrived but she said I was good. At 11:39 the last person arrived and she announced over the loud speaker I had to leave. I tried to talk to her on the side bc we were nearly 10 minutes into class and I was being asked to leave but she kept just telling me to leave over the speaker. I motioned that we were 9 minutes into class and she said 5-7 but she just kept asking me to leave over the loud speaker.

Based on her words and your website I should not have been asked to leave 10 minutes into a workout let alone talked to from across the room on a loud speaker in front of everyone. This is the only work out studio I’ve ever been to that fails to execute firm boundaries around people showing up late.

I’m truly so disappointed in this experience and frankly embarrassed that it was handled in this way. They ignored their own rules and my small window of time to work out was taken away. For the price of this studio I expect better client care.

I attempted emailing the studio in regards to this and waited a week before posting a review. I received no response or any kind of client care. Beware before spending hundreds of dollars on a class pack that you will NOT get the value or experience you are hoping for.

I wish I could have loved this but alas. Back to Pilates plus!

UPDATE PER THE OWNERS RESPONSE:
Attached is the email I sent on June 18th per the email on your website. Regarding taking Deena’s class- as I mentioned I was on the WAITLIST. I was told via your website and teacher that if people were missing at the 5 minute mark I could stay. I was then kicked out 10 minutes in over loud speaker. I would not show up as a student in class as I’m sure she never removed me from waitlist. Attached is also email showing I was on waitlist.

Love love loooooove Oblix! I've taken many other pilates/lagree classes around the neighborhood and this is by far my favorite studio - so it's safe to say that it has quickly become my go-to. The space is clean and beautiful, the instructors are some of the best I've ever taken (with great playlists may I add), AND Jeseeka (the owner) is so lovely!
