Update:
It has now been one year and three months since I began my journey with Obstacourse. Throughout this period, I have experienced both challenges and triumphs, shaped by significant life events. I am pleased to share that I am currently in the best health I have enjoyed in over a decade—my cholesterol has decreased by 52 mg and is now within the normal range. This progress has been achieved through self-discipline and mindful choices, without formal coaching. As I reflect on my accomplishments, including reaching bronze member status and completing 150 circuit training sessions (my 1st milestone out of 4), I am grateful for the growth and resilience I have developed along the way. I wanted to share a little slice of my recent adventure. Attached you'll find a photo from my 4-hour hike at Rif Mountain in Chefchaouen, Morocco. It was an incredible experience, made even more special as I got to wear my prize (“COMMIT T-Shirt from Obstacourse) from the 150-circuit training sessions. The scenery was simply breathtaking, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment both from the hike and all the training that led to it.

I’ve been going to this gym since OC has been open, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made! The energy here is incredible, and what truly sets this place apart is the amazing community. Everyone is so supportive and motivating—it’s like having a built-in workout buddy every time you walk in. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, there’s always someone cheering you on. The coaches are incredible and will make your workouts a touch harder! The workouts are challenging but rewarding, and the sense of accomplishment after each session is unmatched. The atmosphere is welcoming and positive, making it easy to stay excited about coming back each day. I truly look forward to every workout!

Obstacourse has been such a blast even tho I’ve only been with the community for 4 weeks through a 6 week course they provided ! Learning so much about nutrition and different workouts and I’m seeing such amazing results . The coaches really are my biggest cheerleaders and that is the motivation I need . This is a community I can see myself continuing with as it is now apart of my daily routine.
P.S. Aneesh and Sarge are brutal coaches but I appreciate them every day (after the workout class is over ) .

ObstaCourse gym is truly amazing! I've been attending the 6:00 AM classes from Monday to Thursday, and I can’t recommend this place enough. Coach Andrew is fantastic—highly organized and always delivers top-notch circuit training programming that keeps you challenged and motivated. I've had the best experience at ObstaCourse! I'm old and not fit and they were so welcoming and helpful. The coaches, the trainers, the other members, wow! So supportive. I admit that during first class I thought I might throw up. And immediately thought I was never coming back. But I did come back, over and over. I pushed myself and got more coordinated. This is really a great place. Very welcoming and supportive.

This gym is great. The work outs are always fresh, they change it up daily to keep you on your toes. The work outs are challenging, but still doable no matter your age, gender, or body type. The coaches and staff are approachable, supportive, and always attentive to your needs. They will quickly change up exercises and give you alternatives based on your needs if they see you struggling. No one is ever left behind. In addition, the community if fantastic, everyone is super friendly and supportive no matter where you are on your health journey. It’s also a lot of fun. The workouts are fun, the music is great.

Kudos to Obstacourse! This is my vibe everyday, the 6am class is amazing! The workouts have become a regular part of my routine every day. I love how you have no idea what to expect, and that keeps it interesting. Muscles have memory well mine keeps getting reminded and rebooted everytime. All the coaches there are knowledgeable and always watching like Sarge! He will explain it if you're doing something improperly and has a better way if you want to modify it. His voice is exactly what I need to keep pushing.
The challenges, support, and community are just a few additional bonuses you will find here. It has been the right place for me. It's the only place that serves every age and all fitness levels. I feel good going in and feel accomplishmented going out. win-win! What's your win?

I've known Keith professionally for 5 years and have been going to Obstacourse for a year.
I love how welcoming the OC community is, how many women attend the gym, and the wide variety of athletes that attend. I had not stepped in a gym way before they got shut down during the pandemic. I started going to obstacourse 3 times a week in 2021. I joined one of the nutrion challenges that they do every few months (apperantly I can't adult and eat 3 meals a day with snacks without it being a competition!) I became a part of the 5am crew and now go everyday and when i don't I am jealous of what I miss. I have lost weight and body fat over the last year, but have also gained so much upper body strength that was non existent a year ago. The work outs change everyday and you get to challenge yourself at your pace. I'm glad I decided to join and I have found a place that I look forward to sweat at!

This is not your ordinary gym, it's so much more than you can even imagine. The variety of workouts is amazing and always challenging - HIIT, strength etc. The community is supportive, friendly, non-judgmental, and welcoming. The Coaches here have heart, they genuinely care about the members and they make us believe in ourselves...that "we can"..over and over again. It's a family atmosphere, we all encourage one another..it's definitely a positive vibe.
I've been coming here for several years, I joined when I was at my weakest...physically and mentally. Obstacourse has helped me survive the darkest times of my life...it's my happy place, my second home, my place to unwind, de-stress, get healthy! Some people belong to a gym, I belong to a community. I first joined OnstaCourse Fitness back in Oct 2021 and I could not have be more fortunate to have chosen this place. From my first day there I was greeted with smiles and open arms. The coaches walk around to ensure proper form and the workouts change daily so as to keep things interesting. Then I heard about these challenges they put on. I’ve not only lost weight and inches through these programs but I’m also more in tune with the nutritional choices I make. This wasn’t a quick transformation challenge that once it ends you go back to your bad habits and gain the weight back. This is a constant stream of challenges with accountability coaching and challenge groups that support one another along the way. I cannot recommend this gym enough!

I love Obstacourse so much I'm a member even though I live in Alameda! It's all about building strength, confidence, and community, and it delivers on all those things. It focuses on being safe, having fun, and becoming a better version of you, inside and out. The coaching team is unbelievably supportive and so great at meeting anyone where they are and helping them level up (I say this as someone who literally couldn't hang on the monkey bars, even for one second, my first visit). The members -- many of whom are women, which I found surprising given the obstacle/strength and conditioning focus -- are welcoming, enthusiastic, and supportive, too. There's a solid set of supports outside the gym (virtual workouts, 1:1 coaching and accountability, team challenges, etc.) it makes it worth being a member, even if I can only get there in person once a week. When we race together, it is bananas how much fun we have. And I am in the best mental and physical shape of my life. Thank you, OC Community!

If I could give this gym 10 stars I would - I started Keith's virtual workouts in October while most gyms across the country were shut down. As a lot of people can relate - I gained some weight whilst spending more time at home and I needed a major push to kick start my healthy habits mindset / self accountability/ weightloss journey. The community of instructors at OC FITNESS are truly passionate, knowledgable, and inspiring day in and day out. Every workout was different and doing them at home allowed me to feel comfortable in my doubt and discomfort while in the comfort of my home .
After two months of being part of this community I signed up for an in person HIIT studio in Colorado Springs. I would not have felt confident enough to step into a group fitness class had it not been for the coaching at OC Fitness - the trainers push you to work hard and get past the mental block of "I can't". I initially joined the virtual workouts as a way to spend time with my sister, as I live in Colorado and not able to travel to California to see her - what I wasn't expecting was that the small goal of having sister time would turn into a life changing experience.
I have now lost 15 pounds, workout 5 days a week at 6am (not a natural early bird) and I have gained the confidence to show up for myself even when I have all the excuses to not follow through. Obstacourse fitness is not only a state of the art exercise facility with top notch trainers, but also a community of real people with varying fitness levels, goals, and ages. This exercise community is the most inclusive space I've ever been part of. I have to thank Keith and his team for setting me up for success and guiding me in creating a positive relationship with challenging exercise & in turn mentally and physically training me to follow through with my fitness journey even from 1,300 miles away. The only complaint I have is they don't have a physical location in Colorado - but rest assured that the high altitude training will have me running laps around you when I visit California Keith!

Really solid place to train for my spartan race! The 6 pm Tuesday class is so very fun and intense and I was absolutely crushed and sweating at the end of it! Tara is an encouraging and fun instructor and the exercises are all reasonable and modifications are provided so you don’t feel overwhelmed. This is a fun community!

I've been going to Obstacourse for 6 months and it's always a new fun challenge. Keith always has a fresh workout, ensures you have good form and the entire experience is very positive. Simply not possible to work out this hard by yourself. Lose the gym membership and hit Obstacourse. Body Shock aka as "Shocking of the Body," upper, lower and full body strength days keep you engaged.

I dropped my 13 year old son and a friend off at the Saturday teen night. They were having so much fun that I stayed to watch a while. We met friendly staff who were really encouraging to the boys and helped them learn the right way to climb and use the equipment.
