A fight broke out, the refs werenβt very good and itβs hard to watch the games because so many courts are packed in that people constantly walk in front of you the entire game! Paid parking and pay to watch your child play

Great gym for the kids. There is enough seating for the number of courts being used. They have a snack bar, clean bathrooms, and an upstairs dining area with table and chairs. There is a gated parking lot if you choose. A bbq pop up vendor that serves some good food as well. Gym is really close from the freeway exit so easy to find and easy to get back on the road to head home.

The man identified him self as the owner, stating I could get out of his gym. He was rude, stepped in my face as a woman, had an antagonistic tone and stance with his delivery during his interaction with me. If there is a question or concern there is an appropriate way to handle it. As a man, speaking to a woman or any individual in that matter, in counterproductive. His proximity to personal space was uncomfortable causing me to take a step back and admittedly become on guard verbally. As a business owner he could have handled the situation in a far better professional manner. However his priority was clear. Expressing his dominance and desired outcome. Iβm highly disappointed in his behavior. I hope that he will reflect on the situation that occurred and use it as an opportunity for growth and learning.

Huge facility. Great staff (Sam and Benny). When the janitors are there, the place is kept up and bathrooms are maintained.

Best basketball facility in Oakland hands down. I don't think Walnut Creek or anywhere else this side of Roseville is as good. When we see OGP on our weekend tourney schedule we rejoice. Get ready to pay for parking though...

Great basketball amenities, but missing the basics. Weβve been here several times for basketball tournaments. The courts and technology are dialed in. But with so many players pushing their limits, whatβs missing is any drinking fountains or places for players to fill water bottles, unless you pay the snack bar for overpriced bottled water. Youβll pay among the highest admission fees to get in but donβt get athletics basic needs.

This place is so cool. All types of ages and groups be down there playing basketball. Working out and all. The 40 and over basketball league. I recommend this place for all age groups. Come join the bench crew. Lol cheerleading squads. We just have lots of fun. Pretty much everybody knows each other.

Gym is in decent shape. Entry tickets are expensive. In addition to that $12 for parking?

Floors are revarnished, good air control, easy to park. Suggest they put in a water font to help the players hydrate.

The new staff and facilities are great. There is a 12 dollar parking fee and a 10 dollar entry fee. Also, there is no water fountain although they do have water bottles for sale.

Turn on the AC!!!! Itβs so hot in here our kids are damned near getting heat stroke. With the fees paid for these events you can turn on the AC at least during weeks where temps are 100 plus! This isnβt safe. I will say the bathrooms are clean and courts are nice.

Bay Area Institution for youth basketball. Four nice courts, good spectator seating and a snack bar supplying the basics. Always appreciate this place and the service it provides to kids and the community. The $10 parking fee is worth it as cars parked on streets nearby run the risk of smash and grab car damage and theft. The venue loses a star for me because there is currently no water bottle refill station available - unconscionable in a youth sports facilty.

Gym hasn't really changed...floors redone to get the Soldier name off, a little paint and that's it. Bathrooms are still the same, not sure if they added air conditioning or not. They still charge for parking and now $15 CASH ONLY entrance fee per day. Ridiculousness. If this was an AAU sanctioned event and there were college coaches in attendance then I would understand the high cost for spectators but otherwise I wouldn't even attend another event here. Good luck to all the parents coming up in the AAU circuit now. These organizations are just cash cows. Unless your child is being highly recruited in the basketball circuit this stuff just isn't worth it.
