Hands down the best gym in Pasadena!
This place has everything you need—24/7 open gym access, high-intensity HITT classes, and dedicated Olympic lifting platforms. Whether you're a seasoned lifter or just getting into fitness, there's space and support for you here.

What really sets this gym apart is the community. The coaches are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in your progress. And the members? Just good people—motivating, friendly, and always up to cheer you on.

Located right in the heart of Old Town Pasadena, it’s convenient, well-equipped, and full of good energy. Highly recommend to anyone looking to level up their training with the backing of a solid fitness family.

Home away from home. Gym has 24/7 access which is my favorite feature, can come in anytime, stay as late as I want and not have to worry about getting harassed or bothered. CrossFit side of the gym is amazing if you like working out in a group/coach setting, workouts are fun and challenging an added bonus is working out people of all sorts of levels. Other side is the more solo go at your own pace, have access to weightlifting platform along with a bunch of free weights & lots of other fun gym equipment. Will never go back to a globo gym setting again. This environment is safe and friendly, you won’t get harassed or bothered but also have the option to be fun and engaging and meet great people.

Highly recommend this gym! The excellent instructors and the classes will put aside any assumptions about how intimidating CrossFit may be for weight training newbies. It's a very supportive gym with knowledgeable and friendly instructors who will show you proper form and recommend scaling to the level that you're comfortable with (which is quite rare these days in group weight training and HIIT classes). I've never been to a gym that is more welcoming in terms of staff and gym attendees. The well spaced layout has excellent equipment and is clean. Since attending over 6 months ago, where I started out as a beginner who could barely lift dumbbells, I have learned to lift barbells properly, gained confidence in my strength training, and truly enjoyed each class.

Great gym for cross-fit . Very friendly
and professional staff and excellent trainers that pay close attention to your technique and provide great pointers and tips. I go there on Tuesdays with Matt coaching the class - he is fantastic and helped me a lot to improve my workout. Strongly recommend Old Town Gymnasium for all experience levels .

I was always very hesitant to join gyms because I’m someone who can’t work out on her own. I need the motivation. However, joining Old Town Gymnasium has been life changing! Not only do I feel motivated, but I feel supported. I feel like I’m apart of a community I didn’t know I needed to be apart of. Everyone is very welcoming and the coaches are very patient and accommodating to your needs. Which I loved because before this I’ve never worked out in my life!(talk about starting from the bottom). Ive lost overall 20lbs in the 5 months I’ve been there. I really encourage anyone, even if you are a bit hesitant, to give it a try. They offer 6 free classes to start so why not!
