I started Orangetheory a little less than a year ago when I was over 35% body fat, weighing more than 218 pounds and far from healthy. Back in February 2025, even during a 50-minute Thread 50 class, I could not finish 2 miles. I knew I had to make a change — and the Orangetheory team helped me do exactly that. The atmosphere, community, and coaches are truly amazing, and in just nine months I have lost +33 pounds as of now and seen incredible physical and mental improvements. Huge thanks to the OTF coaches and staff members, especially at the Dublin, San Ramon, and Danville studios, for helping me become a better version of myself!

I usually enjoy Orangetheory workouts, but I’m really disappointed with how they handle late cancellation fees. I recently got sick and wasn’t able to make it to class. I canceled late because of that, but the charge they applied was way too expensive. What’s worse is the class wasn’t even full, so my absence didn’t take a spot away from anyone else.
I understand the idea of fees to hold people accountable, but there should be some flexibility for situations like being sick, especially when the class has empty spots. Instead, it feels like the policy is just about making money rather than supporting members’ health and well-being.
This experience left me frustrated, and it makes me question whether the membership is worth it if there’s no reasonable consideration for real-life circumstances.

For such a structured class style, I love how much flexibility there is to define your own goals. I started as a power walker because my cardio was bad and I've always hated running, and now 6 months later my cardio is the best it's ever been and I'm STILL a proud power walker. If one of your goals is to become a jogger or a runner, this is 100% the place to make that happen, but your experience and goals can and will be different from the person next to you. Especially when just starting out, I think it's important to give yourself permission to be where you are in your fitness journey and be realistic with what you want to accomplish. The beautiful thing about OTF is that everyone there is showing up to push themselves to be better, and the coaches really want to see you succeed. I have only had positive experiences with all of the coaches, but a special shout out to Coach Paul for correcting my form on the weight floor on several occasions- it's clear that he's really monitoring the class and stepping in when people need it.
As well as the improved cardio and strength you get, the mental benefit from OTF has seriously been incredible. Being able to push myself and make it through each workout feeling more and more in control of my body has translated into a greater general confidence in myself. It's such a great outlet for whatever craziness life deals you.

Best workout in the Tri Valley! Amazing workouts with outstanding coaches. Every workout is different so you never feel bored and are always challenged. I love the program such as Hell Week (the Hell Week tank you get after completion is epic) and 12 Days of Fitness along with signature programs such as Orange Everest. The staff is super friendly and go out of their way to insure you always have the best workout experience. It only takes 1 class and you will be addicted to OTF.

It's all about the orange! Been coming to this studio for nearly 10 years since they opened. I love that I can spend an hour of my day and not think about what I need to do. Coaches bring lots of energy and positivity. The peeps at the front desk are always welcoming. Members are also great and I am thankful for the friendships that have come from this studio. Workouts are challenging, but I can modify when needed since I have back issues. Dubs is the place to be!

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you!” This phrase is often heard from many coaches inside an Orangetheory Fitness Studio. I became a member of Orangetheory, aka OTF, at the start of the 2019 New Year…because you know, “New Year, New Me!” I vividly remember feeling intimidated upon entering my first free class with no idea what to expect; other than the fact that I’ll be dripping sweat and dragging my broken body out the door after a full 60 minute class. And guess what? I was absolutely right! My body was in complete shock and it didn’t know how to respond. I remained sore for a week straight. I continued going to classes, soreness and all and found that my body was slowly adapting to this new lifestyle of working out on the regular.
Over time, I found myself just going in and out of the studio, thanking the OTF Gods that it was done and over with. But after a month in, I started meeting new members and truly connected with a group of people. These people became my OTF Dublin Family, or #OTFDublinFam! If you're looking for a non-judgmental place to workout and meet awesome people, including the front desk staff and of course their amazing coaches...this is your studio!! So come and give it a try...remember, your first class is FREE!! How can you pass up an opportunity like that?!

Joining OTF Dublin is one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself after having a baby!
From my intro class with Coach Sarah, I knew this place was special—her expert guidance even made me love rowing again! Coach Taylor’s energy is infectious, pushing me to give my best every time. I haven’t tried any other coaches but I’m pretty confident they are all amazing at what they do! The front desk staff is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making every visit a great experience. After just one month, I upgraded my membership to unlimited classes!
The studio’s vibe is incredible, and if you live in or around Dublin, and looking for an amazing workout, you definitely gotta give this studio a try. Bet you won’t be disappointed!

I've been an OTF member for two years now , and my husband joined a year ago - we both love our workouts here! I originally followed Coach Taylor when she transferred from Pleasanton to Dublin location, and so glad I did!
I'm not a morning person, but after school drop-off walking into the studio and seeing the front desk staff's welcoming smiles and upbeat attitude is the perfect way to start the day! The workouts here are always fresh and challenging, and the coaches do an amazing job of pushing us to work harder and smarter to reach our goals.
A special shoutout to Taylor, Paul, Jon & Jaimie for their guidance and motivation during workouts! If you're looking for a fun, results-driven workout with an awesome team, this is the place to be! Highly recommend checking it out!

Leaving this review as I cancel my membership. OrangeTheory is the only workout that ever gave me any results. This specific location is like most others - extremely helpful staff, clean and well maintained, and in a great location.
I have to cancel after several years because I cannot figure out a time anymore due to other reasons. As I went to cancel, I expected upsells or resistance, but there was none of that. It took me 2 minutes to cancel, and the staff member offered to downgrade my remaining duration so that I save money.

Great location and loved the coach!
I didn’t appreciate that the front desk staff dropped the ball and after the class asked me to fill out my personal info/release form and credit card on file and then charged me a $10 surcharge FOUR hours later.
This is a lovely studio if you live in the area but if you’re traveling through do not even bother.
I’ve hit studios in so many other states and never got surcharged just because their home members get charged more for their membership 👎🏼

First of all, I’m a little over 2 years in and just as obsessed as when I first started. I took 2 months off for personal reasons and they were so kind about my break and welcomed be back with open arms and the right amount of pressure to get back on my grizzy (grind).
Head Coach Paul is like my Gym Fairy God Father. My form and tenacity on the rower is all him! He challenges me even when my mental feels poopy. So appreciative! He walks it like he talks it. I’ve taken several classes that he’s attended and he goes just as hard as he encourages others! He’s awesome and always has good music.
Coach Tay Tay is my girrrrrl! She brings the spunk to Orange Theory Dublin. Love love love her playlists 🤍 you’ll catch us doing a happy dance in between sets. She’s responsible for me running faster and lifting heavier to build the bootay I so earnestly want 🤗 we love her
Coach Jon is newer! He’s more chill and brought the vibes with his playlist.
Coach Wisti is like a firecracker! She’s been in the game 7 years (I overheard her saying that last week 🤣) and rips and runs through each exercise on each side with high energy and the best attitude! I love how she switches up her playlist from different genres.
Coach Sarah is the sweet heart! Great music and will politely correct you when your form is off. She seen me going lighter than usual and was like “uuuuummm you know you can do better” 🤣

I started off at OTF Dublin after a long gap from working out and was nervous to go into a group workout class with fear of injuring myself with incorrect form. Couple of classes in I was able to understand the format of the classes. All the coaches here coach Paul, Taylor, Jon and Sarah are amazing and encouraging. They are very approachable and are there to help you understand the correct form or offer modifications. I shut my brain off and just follow their instructions during the workout. You don’t repeat the same workout, it is always a different one. The classes are available through out the day. The front desk staff are very friendly. OTF Dublin is highly recommended!

Orangetheory: where sweat is just your fat crying! Classes here are like signing up for a rollercoaster ride with personalized cheering sections. The coaches Tay, Paul, Sarah and Jon are like drill sergeants in disguise—making you sweat bullets but with a smile. The music pumps you up so much you start to believe you could bench press a truck, and the front desk staff are so friendly, they’re the gatekeepers of good vibes. I've done three 60-minute classes over the past 8 days, and I burned about 400-500 calories per class. I first joined because I used to do mat pilates at home, but I became lazy.
Orangetheory has been a great way to stay active and motivated so far. I also like Coach Paul. He's never in-your-face or overly pumped. He's more like a chill yet encouraging neutral positive, and he actively corrects your form or gives you reminders without ever making you feel bad.
I highly recommend anyone at least give it a try. Your first class is free, and current members can give you a referral!

I’ve been coming off and on for 4+ years continue to be so impressed with the staff and the facility. Is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My fear with this type of workout was always that my form would be wrong but not noticed/corrected, Especially with a large crowd doing multiple workouts. But somehow they manage to keep an eye out with everything that’s going on and correct me and others to make sure we are working the muscles that are we are supposed to be focusing on. Can’t speak highly enough about it. Also, as a 60-year-old woman, I don’t feel pressured to compete with others around me as going at your own pace is highly encouraged. It’s NOT a facility that is intimidating, even if you are older, slower, or just starting out!

Love this place! I get a great, balanced workout. My strength and cardio fitness have definitely improved since I started. The OTF concept in general is great. It is a great use of tech and data to get you into fitness. It has been a great experience so far. The OTF studio in Dublin has been superb! I have had the privilege of taking classes under Coach Paul who is just excellent, with very clear instructions and directions, Coach Taylor who brings a lot of positive and motivational energy into the class making it super fun, Coach Wisti who is very great with her explanations, she very nicely explained how the different routines help with strength, power, or endurance, Coach Sam who was my first coach and very nicely answered all my questions, and Coach Jamie who hyped up my All-Out run, I felt like I was the road runner! Skyler and her team at the front desk also provide a 5-star customer service experience in very creative and fun ways making OTF-Dublin a great place to come to. I definitely recommend this studio!

Orangetheory is a great, well rounded workout. What I really appreciate are the coaches, in particular Wisti. I have been going to Wisti's classes for almost 2 years and what keeps me going back to her is her attention to detail. I joined along with my wife almost a year ago and we've loved going to every single class! There are a variety of workouts that focus on cardio and endurance and they help you push yourself a little bit every time. The coaches are really great as well and they are always there when you need them - special shout out to Coach Paul and Taylor! There are also benchmarks and challenges from time to time which help you see your progress. I can already see a difference in my fitness and daily life and look forward to continuing this journey!

This is my home away from home! I found this “Gem” in passing and was welcomed by Olivia who was just about to close up, she took the time to invite me to a free class where I met Coach Tay, as well as Teresa and Skylar at the front desk. I absolutely adore EVERYONE here, such a diverse atmosphere and everyone encourages one another without being over the top about it. The workouts are challenging but pretty much anyone at any age group could do it. Such a helpful and welcoming group led by Head coach Paul (who has the best Dad jokes)! There is a refreshing sense of community yet you set your own personal goals. I have visited other OTF locations but nothing beats the connection I have here! Try it, you won’t regret it!

The workout was very boring and was much longer than I’d like. I prefer shorter, higher intensity sessions to get my heart rate up more.
The coach running the class wasn’t able to individually help anyone with their form because the client-instructor ratio was like 18-1.
If you need personal training help or modified exercises, this is not the place. The class times also make it very difficult to accommodate consistently working out.
The staff was nice so no issues there.

I started taking classes in October of 2021 at a few studios in the Bay Area and Dublin has been the best studio by far. Coaches always have great music, tons of motivation and put their members needs first. Their front desk staff always knows everyone by name and know how to handle every situation. Best way to spend an hour of my day and have fun. If you haven’t checked out OTF Dublin, yet you are missing out!

Orangetheory Fitness Dublin is the best OTF studio that I have attended… and I’ve been to many. I’ve been a member for over 4.5 years, and the knowledge and friendliness of the staff is great. All the coaches are good. Coach Paul is one of their best. Great presence, music, and ability to take a class of 30+ and treat it like an individualized personal training session. Paul does a great job at leading these large group sessions. Great studio and I’ll be back to OTF Dublin.

The friendly and welcoming front crew desk is lead by Studio manager Olivia, who is always there to help with a smile. The coaches motivate and encourage you to do the best. Head Coach Paul plays the best music to keep us running ( and even dancing at times LOL)!! The whole staff at Dublin makes an effort to get to know you and help you to achieve your fitness goals. I can't say enough good things about this location. I joined about a month ago and was a little nervous but felt comfortable as soon as the class started with Coach Paul. I feel happy and confident again and I can't get enough of the classes! I've been to two other locations while traveling for work and visiting friends but the Dublin location has my heart! I’ve been going to OTF since 2016, cannot live without it. OTF has instilled the discipline in me to workout. After coach Kara left the dublin location, I was a bit disappointed but, Coach Paul has quickly taken my fav coach’s spot followed by Coach Sarah!! Awesome. I was hesitant to joined a fitness group that looks intimidating, but was greeted by team members and staff who were extremely helpful and friendly. I’ve only been 12 times and I have seen major results in my energy and my tone definition. Again, if it looks intimidating, it’s not. Everyone has a routine they need to complete, but at your own pace. Highly recommended.

I love everything about this place. From the moment you walk through the door, the enthusiam and motivation is there with the employees / coaches. The energy carries through the entire workout session. I like being able to see my heart monitor a track my progress on the live screen. It motivates me to do more.

The facility and the coaches are great. But their accounting practices are very unfair. I spend at least a week at Pleasanton and I visit this facility when am around. One day I turned up like 5 mins late when I was told that they gave the spot to a person from waitlist and am fine with it. But what happened next is very surprising and unexpected of OTF - they charged me $12 for no-show!! This had never happened to me at any of the other facilities of OTF I have visited in the last year or so. Left a very bad taste afterwards.

This is a great fitness center with amazing coaches especially Harvey. I have been regularly attending for the last 6 months and i can clearly see i have become more fitter and the Energy levels of very high.
The framework is very unique and we really look forward to each class as the exercises don't get repeated at all.

I love OTF! The workout always feels fresh and new so I never get bored doing the same old thing. The instructors are top-notch: providing clear direction, proper techniques and motivation to push just that little bit harder.
I also love that I can workout with my husband, who is in “better shape” and we both can push to our own limits and not feel hampered by the other’s level.
But the BEST part of OTF is the immediate heart rate feedback so I can modify my pace in order to maximize my hour in the class. The summary email with calorie burn, splat points, heart rate helps me feel a sense of accomplishment and motivates me to sign up for the next class.

Having done every kind of workout possible; personal trainers, circuit training, running, etc., this is - by far - the absolute best workout experience. I look forward to working out at the end of the day and do so at least 4-5 times a week. I burn 700-800 calories every time I go and I enjoy working out with the group. There is a lot of camaraderie and the trainers and the front staff are absolutely awesome. Best value for the money and I encourage everyone I know to try it out because I'm convinced that once they do, they will definitely go back!
