Today I couldn't attend the class because I was on wait-list and someone who was late (after 5 min cutoff) was let in. When my wife was late by a few seconds in the previous instance, she was not let in. If you want to follow a rule, follow it religiously for everyone.

There are some positives and some negatives.

Positives: The trainers are good. Eddie is my fav. Gamification makes it more motivating.

Negatives: Expensive. We get fined for being late 10 seconds. But they don't follow it sometimes making it non uniform/ subjective. Not much variety in exercises (esp Cardio) that results in muscle fatigue/ injury unless you take less than 3 classes a week which makes each class very expensive.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about this studio! Winning the Best Performing Studio in the World award for 2025 comes as no surprise; every single coach here has played a huge role in making it happen. Their passion, dedication and ability to push you while still making each class fun is unmatched.

The equipment is always clean, new and well-maintained which makes every workout feel fresh and safe. But what truly sets this place apart is the energy - it’s absolutely contagious! The moment you walk in, you feel uplifted, motivated and ready to give your best. That kind of atmosphere keeps pulling me back and honestly, it’s impossible to resist.

This studio is more than just a workout space - it’s a community, a source of inspiration, and my favorite place to recharge and push limits. Huge appreciation to all the coaches (especially Coach NV, Coach Steph, Coach Amy and Coach Vic) for creating something so special! Highly recommend for anyone interested in starting or continuing their fitness journey to join this studio!

Predatory cancellation policies. Be careful.

Limited number of class timings. Not enough spots available most of the times. I ended up not being able to attend classes most of the days as the early morning and late evening classes were totally booked out in advance.

Not really worth spending over $200/month and not being able to attend because of the lack of classes available.

I’ve been a member at several gyms over the years, but the front desk staff at Orangetheory Warm Springs are hands down the best I’ve ever interacted with—especially Ethan and Sandra. They always greet members with genuine warmth, remember everyone’s names, and create such a positive and welcoming environment. Their energy sets the tone for each workout, and it truly makes a difference.

The coaches at this location are just as exceptional. NV, Emma, Vic, and Stephanie are my favorites, each bringing something unique to class. Coach Emma helped me improve my form on the rower by taking the time to explain and demonstrate the correct technique—she even got on the machine herself and watched me to make sure I understood. That kind of personal attention is rare and so appreciated.

Coach NV is always available for questions and gives such empowering and inspiring talks during class that keep me focused on my fitness goals. Coach Vic keeps class light and fun—she dances, sings, and always encourages us with a big smile, which makes even the toughest workouts feel doable.

Coach Stephanie makes every class encouraging and fun. She teaches a 90-minute class that’s definitely a challenge, but her motivational talks and upbeat music help push me through. Her energy is contagious and keeps everyone going strong.

What I also love about this location is the community. I’ve made real friendships here. Everyone is respectful, friendly, and shares the common goal of improving their health, which adds to the positive atmosphere.

If I had to give one piece of constructive feedback, it would be about cleanliness. This seems to echo what others have said—despite everyone wiping down equipment after use, my wipes often come away black from dirt. It doesn’t bother me personally, but a deeper, more regular cleaning would definitely help address this and improve the overall experience.

Overall, I love this studio and look forward to every class. The staff, coaches, and community make it a special place to train.

I absolutely love Orangetheory Fitness, and Steph is a big reason why! Her energy is contagious, and she genuinely cares about every person in the class. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned member, she meets you where you’re at and pushes you to do your best in such an encouraging way. Steph’s ability to explain the workouts clearly and offer modifications is top-notch, and she makes every session feel fun and challenging.

The studio itself is clean, the workouts are always dynamic, and the staff is super friendly, but Steph’s leadership and positivity make every visit something to look forward to. If you’re thinking about trying Orangetheory, definitely sign up for one of her classes—you won’t regret it!

Bwahahahah, one more in the cult ;-) My dad joined up so looks like we'll meet up on Wed in the middle of our two homes. I think this us my 26th different studio this year and it holds up the OTF brand well, The studio is the way I like them, large one room, and no L shape. Equipment and facilities were well tended and the staff were are super helpful, especially with my 75yo dad navigating all the apps and equipment. Thank you! Best part is that Coach Emma who I know from Rose Garden coaching at the Warm Springs location too, who, BTW is one of the best. She is encouraging without being over the top, attentive to form correction, and on top of all the time calls! Look forward to visiting here more often.

The ceiling fan cut my nail off when I was following the instruction to jump and hold up my arms. I got an instance report as the only response from them. They didn't have a first aid kit so I had to rush to an urgent care to treat the wound. It's fair because all of us signed the disclosure that said we're responsible for all the injuries to ourselves.

It happened more than a year ago but today I got a message from them asking me to come back. That just reminded of this experience. Got to share it now.

I LOVE OT warm springs! I’ve been going for about nine months and it has changed my life! I love the workouts. The coaches and front staff are phenomenal! I’ve made friends with classmates. Life is rough these days and OT is such a blessing! I get my stress and aggression out and feel strong and supported. I’ve made a ton of progress and I’m just so proud of myself and everyone around me. Love the supportive environment. Truly the best experience every single time.

LOVE LOVE our Warm Springs OTF location and staff! Works great with squeezing in workouts whenever I can. Front desk is always friendly and helpful.

I see a few negative reviews about the late-fee charged, but that's a national OTF policy (not this site specific). You're given a "hard" 5-minute grace period for showing up late during the beginning warm-up because life happens. After that, no class entry is permitted. The fee both encourages you to hold yourself accountable and be on time in addition to respecting the other people in the class.

The coaches run a pretty efficient & tight ship. Showing up late means you miss the coach instructions (who are managing 2-3 workout circuits at a time). If people frequently showed up late, late-comers would disrupt class for everyone else.

I've been hit with the fee after forgetting to cancel class, and I still agree with the philosophy.

Back to being positive: Coaches are great here! I'm newer to the fitness-world and the coaches are great about accommodating for all fitness levels and physical limitations (like being pregnant :)

Love OT at Warm Springs. All of the coaches at the Warm Springs OT are fantastic. Facilities are clean, parking at this location isn't an issue, equipment is well maintained.

The class structure works great for our family. Having the reliability knowing that 100% of the time we make it to class that we will have an efficient and challenging workout guided by top-quality coaches makes achieving our fitness goals MUCH easier. With a toddler at home (and both of us working full-time), we truly feel like we're getting our value.

We'd highly recommend Orange Theory to people at all fitness levels.

If traffic light delays you by a minute they will not let you in to a class you paid for. Bad customer service. If I paid for an hour and can only use 52 minutes of that, it is better than losing the whole hour.

Please suggest some better competitors if you know of any. I don't particularly care for this outfit.

Love this gym and their model. The cancellation fee ($15) keeps you accountable and motivates me to actually attend class. Love the coaches, the staff, and the fun events they host for members. Thanks, OTF

I have had an amazing experience with OTF , they are just the best if your goal is get your everyday workout done and maintain an active lifestyle. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a gym with guidance to lose weight and stay healthy / active. Huge shout out to coach Branda , V , Veronica , Jess ( fyi - you can book their classes in Castro valley , San Leandro and Hayward ) … I personally at least burn 550 calories during a session. so as much as the work out tires you , it also keeps you do better than you personal best and truly worth a shot.

The only drawback is that even if you have an unlimited membership, they charge $14 if you cancel the classes within the 8 hour window of your upcoming class. That’s something I personally don’t think that fits well if you have a corporate job ( as we all have uncertainties at work and Adhoc / emergency meetings ) , may be the cancelling window should be less than 8 hours ) . The other problem is the classes get full if we don’t book few days prior.

PS: Honestly no one wants to not workout intentionally for the expensive membership that anyone of us pay. So the gimmick of charging cancellation money is a bit unfair in my opinion.
