I started Orangetheory over a month ago and it's been an amazing workout every time! I especially love the 2G classes β they're the perfect mix of cardio and strength. Kassi is a fantastic instructor β super motivating, clear with instructions, and always helpful when it comes to learning the exercises or modifying movements. I always leave feeling stronger and more energized. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and effective fitness routine!

Theyβve done an amazing job of building a community, injecting new energy, and encouraging members to achieve their fitness goals. I started my fitness journey (for health reasons) and tried out a couple of gyms and workout studios in the area.
I hate to sound like Goldilocks but some were too aggressive, some were way too easy or focused only on stretching, some were just not appealing.
Then I tried Orangetheory! It has everything I need: a nice combination of core strength, cardio and muscle building, great music, coaches who are supportive but not overly pushy, fun people to work out with and motivational programs that get me coming back throughout the week.
I don't feel like I'm competing with the person next to me. Their methodology and data tracking about every workout keeps me focused on the progress I'm making for myself!
Whether you want a hardcore workout or you are just starting and need to pace yourself, Orangetheory could be a great place to go. Lots of studios all over the states so you never have to miss a workout...And the Morgan Hill location is awesome!

The workouts are great, there are lots of variations so no day is the same. The coaches are great and give feedback and suggestions if you want it. Overall love this gym, and went from not working out at all to working out most days.

The coaches are amazing!! The 3-star review is because the current weekend schedule. Saturday's schedule has only 3-classes and none of them is 3G. The classes are always full and the waiting list starts on Fridays. Additionally there are coaches taking spots in these classes, which makes members on waiting list left out.
Recommendation:
1) keep the same schedule but make Saturday's classes - 3G
2) if there's a waiting list then coaches should give their spot to members on the waiting list so members will be able to attend that class -:)

I love Orange Theory! It's never the same workout twice, it can be as competitive (or not) as you like, you can see your real-time stats as you work out and there is variety in each class so you don't burn-out on any 1 exercise or piece of equipment if it's not your favorite. The instructors are awesome (positive, supportive and always helpful). If there is a day where you're not feeling your strongest or most motivated, it usually changes as soon as you arrive but, if not, there is enough flexibility in the routine that you can pull back a bit while still getting a workout and not feel shamed and the coaches always help with modifications if you have an injury you're recovering from. 100% - best "gym" I've ever been a member of!!

As a GXI, runner and fitness fanatic I am always on the lookout for an effective, science based, high intensity workout to augment my running. I've tried the 30 min boxing program and was not impressed, mostly due to the poorly trained staff standing around staring at the walls while you do your best to maintain proper form and a high level of energy.
The combination of strength and cardio training in a HIIT format is ideal, offering a 1 hour format that improves VO2Max, endurance and functional strength. I appreciate the fact that the OT trainers are certified PT's. This means I can trust their coaching to provide safe range of motion instruction and look out for dangerously poor form.
The kicker in the OT program is the HR and calorie tracking. If you are serious about improving performance for a cardio based activity (running, cycling, rowing, etc) tracking your MAXHR and times within the 5 zones is essential.
I am looking forward to seeing how far I can push my fitness level and how it translates to reducing my times on the trails.

If you havenβt orange theoried. You should. The daily variety in the workouts as well as the guidance and encouragement from the coaches keeps you loving your workout. The endorphins are great too! Without going off on a rant, this location has left something to be desired for me, as far as front desk customer service goes at 5am. Except Austin, heβs great!

I've enjoy this club very much. Your results are what you make them and 80% of your overall fitness is nutrition. That written, the fitness needs to be fun. Last year I lost 100lbs, and needed to choose a method to both keep the weight off and tone what was left. I chose Orangetheory because of their proximity to my home and their reputation. After one class I was sold. I have been going for 4 months now and cannot imagine not getting my weekly fitness fix now. The staff is amazing and the coaches are helpful, friendly and push you to try harder.
I would absolutely recommend you try them out, you won't regret it!

Where would I be without this incredible community??? Iβve lost over 50 pounds and gained so much confidence in myself that itβs hard to put into words. The coaches are invested in the members, committed to pushing us & helping us achieve our goals. The fellow members arenβt just there to get in & and get out- we encourage one another, check in when someone doesnβt show up for a while & attend events to celebrate successes.
