I love going to this location. There are several great studios in the area, but when I decided to become a permanent member, I had to choose which one to make my home studio (I live about equally distant to 3), and for me it was an easy choice to select Midtown. The level of dedication that HC Christina and all of the other coaches and front desk staff commit to making this a positive experience for every single member is unlike anything I've seen at any other gym, OTF or otherwise. Even before I was a full member, there were always little personal touches that showed they saw me and were paying attention, not only to my tendencies in class but also my interests outside of the gym. It made me feel like a true member of the community and not just someone they were trying to convert to a higher membership to meet a sales goal. Keep up the amazing work, OTF midtown!

I have been an OTF member since 2021, starting at the Arden studio - which is awesome! I tried the Sac Mid-Town location in late 2024 just to try something new, and I’m so glad I did! The coaches here are amazing and the camaraderie they’ve built with the community is inspiring. I’ve updated my membership from 4 visits a month to 8 visits a month and now to unlimited because I love this studio and the culture they’ve established. I’m thankful to this place for keeping me motivated with new challenges and inspiring me to push myself each class.

I had been resisting trying OrangeTheory for years and finally decided to give it a try at the end of last year and joined the Mid Town location in January. I can’t believe how much I love it. The workouts are challenging and I’ve been pushed out of my comfort zone in a good way. I’m a lot stronger and faster since I started. Thanks to all the coaches and front desk staff for always being so encouraging and supportive! If you’re on the fence, give it a try! You won’t regret it.

Orange Theory Fitness in Midtown has done an incredible job of creating a strong and supportive fitness community! OrangeTheory- Midtown has been so much more than a gym for me—it’s become a true community. From the moment I walked in, the coaches and members made me feel welcomed and supported. The workouts are always challenging and fun, but what keeps me coming back is the atmosphere: encouraging, judgment-free, and genuinely positive.
Over the past year I’ve been focusing on my mental health, and these classes have played a huge part in that journey. Showing up here gives me structure, stress relief, and a team of people who celebrate every small win right alongside me. It’s fitness for the body and the mind, and I’m so grateful for the way this place helps me feel stronger inside and out.
If you’re looking for more than just a gym, I can’t recommend this studio enough!

I’ve been going to OT since 2021. OT is costly, but it’s effective and I usually enjoy the OT community. Lately I’ve been going to the midtown location since it’s closer to my place and works with my work schedule. Majority of the staff is cool; I absolutely do not care about the head coach. I’ve never met a coach who goes out of her way to consistently taint my workout experience. One time ain’t a big deal, but a pattern is another matter.
Update: the studio has kindly addressed my concerns and I appreciate it.

Love Orangetheory! The front staff really take the time to explain everything and make sure you feel totally comfortable. Big shoutout to Coach Austin, he’s the real MVP. He’s super detailed with his instructions, always checking form and offering tips, but not in an overwhelming way. His energy is amazing and he knows exactly when to push & encourage you. 10/10 can’t wait to be back.

I did a trial day here. The workout was cool. I had done Orange Theory with a friend in San Diego before, so I already knew I liked the format as well as the screen tracking aspect. These are actually my favorite treadmills in the world, very forgiving and soft on the knees. Reception (Jessica and Julian?? Having trouble remembering) was incredibly welcoming and nice. I didn't join ultimately bc it was a long walk for me in the rain so I realized the location wasn't convenient in my case, but anyone with a car or living nearby will have no problem whatsoever. Friendly classmates and instructor Bridget was helpful with newcomers. Also want to mention I appreciate that they have showers in case you need to start your day or run errands after. Not all gyms provide shower facilities and its such a bonus.

This was a perfect stop on my way back home to San Jose from Lake Tahoe. Popped in on a Strength 50 at my 31st studio the year. Yes, I may have a problem :-) Midtown held up the OTF brand and vibe. The staff was helpful, friendly, and communicated well before I got there. Parking in the attached was free with validation (be sure to tell them your license plate number). The studio was nice and clean and Coach Angel was great.

OTF midtown rocks! I had my first class with Stephanie more than three years ago, and I keep coming back bc I feel so strong and so welcome. I love that I keep getting faster and being able to lift heavier.
I thought all OTF studios were this welcoming, but now that I’ve worked out in others I realize they are not. OTF midtown has created a special vibe.

I absolutely love Orange Theory Fitness Midtown! The instructors here are top-notch – their coaching, energy, and the music really amp up the workouts. The new lift 50 classes offer a great option and break from cardio. What sets this location apart is the sense of community that the manager has fostered and the low turnover rate of coaches.
I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a fun and effective fitness experience!

I started at OT in August, going twice per week and I love it. Combined with a reasonable diet, I have achieved results.
I'm not typically a "gym" person but OT is unique. The coaches are nice and knowledgeable, staff is always friendly and I've met some great people.

This is my favorite gym. Needs improvement. Got a solid workout in as I usually do at OT, but there were some snags. Equipment feels like it needs to be refreshed. Came across 2 rowers that didn’t work. Also there could have been more prep prior to class starting. None of the rower tablets were on when class started and one was not functional, could have been discovered prior to class starting if they were turned on.

The most rude and disrespectful staff I have ever encountered. I arrived 20 mins before class at 6am and they REFUSED to let me take the class because they said they don’t have time to hand me monitor and walk me around their small studio and show me how to use a treadmill and rower. They spent 10 mins arguing with me rather than solving the problem. Save your money and your sanity and go somewhere else where they will treat paying customers with respect.

Midtown Orange theory is a great studio and workout experience. I love the templates and the group workout vibe. The coaches are so positive and encouraging and push me to go beyond that I would think my limit is! Started working out here after moving from CT to Sacramento and I absolutely love it! I struggled to reach my fitness goals when I worked out by myself but these group exercise classes are perfect for me especially having a coach to walk me through the different intervals. I am so much more committed to working out and I not only feel better but I notice progress after each session.

When I was first trying out OTF I rotated between all the Sacramento gyms and found Midtown’s front desk to be extremely welcoming and their trainers had a great way of connecting with you by name and helped me make adjustments to both my form and weight selections. Since my home (local) gym has changed their schedule, I’m back at Midtown and loving it. They add extra special events throughout the month so you have more options than just to do challenges and their showers/bathrooms are always clean and well stocked. Plus parking is free! Highly recommend.

I've been a member since 2019 and go 5 days a week. It is a great workout for me because all I have to do is show up. Each day the workout is different and there are benchmarks, challenges, and special events to keep you motivated and track your progress. As someone with a job that requires me to make a lot of decisions, it is nice to be in a place where I can relieve mental stress, take care of my body and not have to make decisions. I'm also a data nerd and a creature of convenience, so being able to register for classes on the app and track my workouts (and heart rate info) is an added perk for me.

Showing up is the hardest part. Orangetheory makes the rest so easy. Plus all the coaches are encouraging, accommodating, and positive. They all clearly love orangetheory as much as the members do. Not to mention the community that happens amongst members, I guess when you suffer through something together it brings us all together.

Great workout, excellent staff and coaches, and a very welcoming place to exercise. Doesn't matter what fitness level you are, you'll feel comfortable and get a difficult workout. Also, the flexible memberships are amazing. I love a place that let's you skip a month if you're going to be away, it makes me feel like they appreciate my patronage instead of forcing me into a contract that I have to jump through hoops to break.

14 minutes in the OT orange zone. Shooting for at least 12. Burned 391 calories. Good day.
I can't say enough about Francis. He helps me so much throughout the hour workout. He's very good at telling me how to use weights, the rowing machine and the treadmill.
He explains what's going to happen at each station before we go in, again before we get started and then throughout the hour he keeps each station going.

The workouts hit every part of your body so you walk out feeling EVERYTHING. I love that I don't have to think too much about which workouts I need to do and that there are capable coaches to demo and give lower impact moves. The coaches are very attentive and will correct a move that isn't being done right so you know you will always be getting the best possible results. The workouts themselves are versatile and challenge what you think your limits are. You definitely get the bang for your buck!

What don’t I like. I absolutely love the classes I have participated in during my 4-5 months of my membership. The accountability of use your sessions or lose it, is encouragement enough to get me in there and work my butt off. I work in a high stress profession and the ease of signing up via the OTF app is awesome. As you enter the gym, there are enthusiastic trainers who coach you through the workout, which is what I LOVE, no decision making on my part..😌. The music, oh the music, louder is better and there is always a variety. Midtown OTF is an essential part of my monthly workouts and has increased my endurance and strength. I highly recommend OTF if you work in a sedentary profession and/or are looking for a workout handed to you on a silver platter, cause you just want to have to think of a workout for yourself. I cant say enough good things about this place. Recently, a new location (different owner) was opening closer to my house. I felt like I was cheating on midtown and was so sad because I was told by the new location that I would get their founding rates if I canceled my existing membership and signed up again at the new location, and that’s what I did :( Well, they (the new location- not midtown) gave me all wrong information months in advance and I didnt find out until days after I was supposed to start. Long story short even though midtown didn’t do anything wrong they went above and beyond and were so speedy speak to their owner and manager and call me back with what they could do to help the situation. I rejoined with midtown and will definitely be driving out of my way to go to this location. All their coaches are amazing- they take the time to get to know you and push you to your max (in a good, motivating way) while still making the workout fun. There’s good music which makes my workout so much better. I love being able to pick cards at the desk for where we will start and we get a nice amount of time before class starts to warm up. Front desk girls are also awesome!
