I've been coming to this OTF location for a few months now, and overall, it's been a great experience! The coaches are super motivating and knowledgeable — they do a great job of pushing you while also making sure you’re using proper form.
The workouts are consistently challenging but scalable, which I really appreciate. Whether you're new to fitness or more advanced, you can make it work for your level. The heart rate tracking tech also keeps you accountable and makes it fun to try and hit those orange/red zones.
The Fillmore location itself is clean and well-organized, and the front desk staff are always friendly. My only minor complaint (hence the 4 stars) is that the space can feel a bit tight during peak hours — the layout isn’t as spacious as some other studios I’ve been to, especially around the rowers and floor stations.
That said, the vibe is always positive, and the community here is awesome. If you're looking for a solid workout with a supportive atmosphere, this OTF is definitely worth checking out.

Very clean, friendly staff, you do have to pay an additional $10 for each class if this location is not your "home location". Even if you have the unlimited membership you still pay the surcharge fee.

OTF Pac Heights is tops if you are looking for a workout class that gets results. I love high intensity interval training and Orange Theory especially because I can get the workout I need every time. Even when I'm exhausted and need to go at about 75% instead of my normal 110%. This location has the best trainers and studio manager, Annie - she is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Each trainer is slightly different but amazing in their own way. Massive fan of Anil, Katherine, and Will. Not to mention the Orange Theory COACH OF THE YEAR!, and for my money the #1 overall trainer in San Francisco, coach Molly. It's a solid group and who knows, maybe young-gun Zoe will be coaching at some point too! That would be a high energy class.

I started coming to OTF at Pac Heights 2 months ago and I have been enjoying the workouts. The workouts are different every time so it’s always fun. Being in a group also motivates you to push yourself and give your best. My favorite coaches so far are Anil and Simon, but everyone has been great to work with.

I have friends that swear by OTF, so when I moved walking distance from the Pac Heights location it was a no brainer to give it a shot. I've been going 3x/week for the last 2 months and feel so much happier, healthier, and stronger. Truly one of the best things I could have done for myself. I love the convenience of booking on the app, I love seeing the stats at the end of the workout, and I especially love that I can basically turn my brain off for an hour, follow the coach's instructions, bop around to good tunes, and really get my heartrate going.
Speaking of the coaches... they all rule at Pac Heights. They're super encouraging, keep me hyped up, do a great job of checking in and correcting my form when needed, and I love their playlists!
And I want to give a special shout out to Anil - I had a minor wrist surgery back in November so I haven't been able to do some of the floor exercises, and she always checks in to see how I'm doing or if I need any modifications.
I fully get the OTF hype now, and I feel very lucky to have Pac Heights as my home studio. Never thought I'd be the type to look forward to workouts or get antsy after too many days off, but here we are! see you soon!

I've tried OT in several cities and studios over the years and this one is by far my favorite! The instructors are so energetic and knowledgeable (especially Molly and Katherine who know exactly how to keep you motivated during your last push) and the treadmills are newly renovated with a wider screen which I love. Since I’ve got a variable work schedule, it’s hard for me to commit to any workout class routine. Fortunately for me (and maybe you!), the Fillmore/pac heights location offers plenty of classes throughout the day. Although it’s probably beneficial to have SOME familiarity with BASIC movements, I love how it’s not designed for any specific body type or level of fitness, but anyone can still benefit from going! Coach Molly especially has been exceptionally helpful with me without also being forceful or overbearing, an issue I’ve encountered at some other fitness class places. Only thing I’ll say is the orangetheory system could be a lil intimidating, fortunately the instructors are there to help guide you!! They provide opportunities to dial up the intensity or conversely dial it down according to your individual fitness level. Stars go to five but I give this location and Coach Molly a 10/10

How did it end up like this? It was only a class!
An out of town guest was excited to stay consistent with their new routine while visiting. I signed up for a trial class with them after a long hiatus and with no lifting or HIIT experience. Orangetheory is a killer, brilliant, well-rounded workout customizable to wherever you're at and wherever you want to take yourself.
This team at Pac Heights brings their best every day. They get to know you by name and cheer you on through your journey. Shout out to Herb who gave me my first walk through, and Coach Katherine who got me hooked on Day 1 with a challenging 3G! To Annie who signed me up and is a friendly face every day and motivating work out alongside and to Coach Molly whose energy and experience has made a huge impact in my form, consistency and RESULTS.
After 8 weeks, my PCP approves, my endurance is at an all-time high, I've lost 2" off my waist, and I'm being stopped and asked what my gym routine is. Who knew one class was going to kick off a lifelong journey? I highly encourage anyone curious to give it a shot, be patient with yourself, listen to your body, and stay focused on your goals. I have been loving OTF at Pac Heights! I’m finally working out consistently thanks to the membership plan. It forces me to go and get it done, which is something I need. But also, the workouts are amazing!!! I’m always excited when it’s Orangetheory day; I spend the day looking forward to my evening class after work. Every day is different, fun, and energizing. My running distances and pace have gotten better. I have also learned many bodyweight exercises I can also do at home. My favorite coaches are Anil and Simon. I hope to keep seeing them there. Anil’s playlist is the best! It makes you want to run faster, lift heavier, do more.
The only thing I regret is not signing up years ago and not having the time to go more than twice a week.

Ok one of the best workouts ever out there!! Coach Molly, Kat are incredible and really take the time to correct forms, really push you..it shows that they genuinely care! Coach will has the best playlists that make all the hard workouts more fun. Even the folks at the desk are kind and help out with issues on the app or booking - shout-out to Annie, Gaby and the others. Also shout-out to coach Nisha and Lisa bringing all the fun. I’ve been a member since the day they opened, and I love it.
You get out of it exactly what you put in, and the entire team is welcoming and encouraging. The facility is well maintained, clean, and roomier than a lot of SF studio locations. It’s intense in a good way, but not aggressive like some gyms can be—you’ll definitely leave sweating your behind off.
I recommend classes with Will Jones, his playlists are my favorite, along with his banter.

Love this studio! I've visited MANY studios since 2016. I've gotta say this one is the WINNER.
It's been a few years since they've opened and they've been consistently great and clean. I've been to other studios and it's nothing like this. Towels always folded neatly, clean bathrooms always, if something breaks it gets fixed.
Annie does a fantastic job managing the entire studio and other studios all these years and everyone in the front is friendly and efficient. Coach Molly!! is a great instructor especially teaching the floor. I've improved a lot since I joined this specific studio. Coach Catherine is great too she notices when our form is off and corrects us and gives us tips for the rower. Recently coach Simon taught at this location I've gotta say he's a star always pushing us to our potential. I wish he can be there permanently. I haven't gotten a chance to try evening coaches but I will.
Definitely give it a chance!

I fell in love with OTF at Pac Heights! Here’s why:
1) I love how clean it is in the studio, and I really am grateful for the fact that they always keep hair sprays, dry shampoos, deodorants and all the other necessities for women/girls and men/boys. This makes the studio so comfortable! There are showers, too!
2) Benchmarks, special workouts, challenges keep My fitness journey always challenging and fun. I am working out for a month now, and I am still excited to workout every day like it’s my first day here! Needless to say that the workouts are so effective! I joined transformation challenge and have been working out for 5 times a week, and in just one month my family and friends are telling me that I look so much leaner and healthier!
3) The music selection for the workouts are to the point!
4) Last but not least, the staff and the coaches! Everyone from the staff is so lovable, welcoming and warm! I feel like home because of them! As for the coaches, I mostly end up joining the classes of Anil and Will, and let me tell you, they are absolute rockstars! These coaches always push us to our limits in the workouts and when I mentioned the great music selection right above, I was referring to these coaches :)
If someone’s reading this and hesitating if they should join OTF, you will have no regrets, trust me!

PAC Heights is where it’s at! I live so many of the staff there, they are all awesome. I love Molly’s classes, I go all the time! I have also done Simon’s classes which are great too! He won’t let you get away with shorting yourself but he’s very sweet. I think that’s true of all the employees here. Gabby, Annie, Herb, and Anil are all very caring.
I’ve been coming here for 7-8 months and when I show up for myself I never regret it. It’s a great community, you don’t need to think about it, just do it.

I am obsessed with this studio and everyone who works there! I travel a lot for work, so I’m always going to different studios/buying different membership and class packs and being a really obnoxious member, but Annie and Jesus always help me out and make sure that I get the best deal possible. Every coach is so cheerful, but also pushes me to beat my personal records. The bathrooms are extremely clean and the amenities are awesome. Also, this is the highest tier studio so if you get a membership here, you can literally use your membership or classes at any other studio in the US. Can’t recommend this location more highly, and additionally, I just love the classes themselves. I’ve been doing them for years and when I get compliments I literally say “body by orange theory” 🤣🤣 I sadly have to switch studios again because I am moving, but I will definitely still be coming in all the time because it really feels like my home studio 🧡🧡🧡🧡

If you are like me and need to have music, a great coach pushing you to do your best, and not wanting to look like a wimp in order to get lean and me, this is for you! You can be a beginner or a hardcore athlete, OT has workouts you can tailor to your needs. Recent SF local, have really enjoyed Orange Theory after never having tried before. Solid mix and match of strength and cardio workouts: treadmill, rowing machine, and floor weights and body weight exercises. They recently had a promo and through work I have a wellness stipend, so I've been getting great value PLUS this OTF location is two blocks away from our new apartment. Don't sleep on the Dri Tri workout, shout outs to Jesus and Marquise for the welcoming / way too early classes, and thank you for always kicking my butt and switching things up to get a hearty sweat on.

OTF is the best! It is a fantastic, sustainable workout routine - I love that the workouts are never the same, use a mix of equipment types and you can really cater to your workout goals in the classes. Since going about 3-5 times per week since January I’ve seen so much increase in my strength and endurance, as well as lost weight (usually burn between 400-500 per class). This studio in particular has such positive upbeat coaches w great music taste and staff and I was so excited when it opened so close to where I live. Love the themed days they're been doing recently too. Highly recommend (but I don’t want the classes to fill up)!

I'm a big fan of Orange Theory. I was never a gym guy until my wife introduced me to OTF when we met, and I got hooked immediately. It's been life-changing for me, and I can't be thankful enough for that. It's really a gym for everyone, no matter your level, age, or goal; you'll always find what you're looking for. The Pac Heights studio is great; they really make you feel like part of a community, which brings a lot of motivation. Special kudos to Annie and Jesus, who are always very nice, fun, and helpful, making this studio our favorite (sorry, other studios, we love you too). We are so happy that we found OTF! My husband and I are at the studio 4-5 times a week and absolutely love it.
There's an amazing community with coaches that motivate you through challenging workouts which are always changing. I personally love that there are strength specific classes as well as the cardio/weight combo.

I love OrangeTheory! So excited about the new location on Fillmore. The instructors are awesome, the gym is sparkling clean with brand new equipment, and I always feel 100x more energized coming out of the top-notch workouts.
As a life-long athlete, I’ve tried just about every workout class under the sun (Barry’s, Peloton, personal training, Pilates, Core Power) and OT is by far my favorite.
