OrangeTheory Willow Glen is top-notch! Coach Daniel brings the perfect balance of intensity and encouragement; his energy is contagious, and he always knows how to push you just enough to get the most out of every workout. Whether youβre a beginner or seasoned OTF-er, Daniel meets you where youβre at and helps you level up. Amanda at the front is amazing, super friendly, incredibly organized, and genuinely invested in the members. She ensures you feel welcomed and supported. Big shoutout to both of them for creating such a motivating and positive studio vibe!

The studio front desk did not let us in because we were 20 seconds late to the 5 minute mark, citing lack of warm up concern. I am not sure 20 seconds could make a difference to the warm up. There needs to be better interpretation of such rules. This particular OTF is situated on a busy street with lack of parking which essentially caused us to be late. I will not be surprised if such complaints are common for this OTF compared to others. Request OTF board to have better interpretation of such rules and be consistent with the interpretation. It seems to change from one site to other even within San Jose.

Overall the studio is okay but we have the happy customer for past 3 years but itβs was disappointing to see they not letting us enter the class for being 7min late. Itβs a strict policy of only allowing 5 min late, they are happy to let the customer cancel the membership over it. Oh also there is late fee as well if you are late.

Worst studio and the front desk person does not understand the policy elaborately. For 6:45 class, I entered the studio at 6:50 because of lack of parking facility at this location. The front desk person stopped me saying I entered a minute late to class, which is not true. According to 5min rule, I was eligible to enter the class. It takes time and effort to drive to far off location. Itβs unfair to have a front desk person who is not aware of the rules in detail.

Worst experience ever. Not allowing to the class even if we were 1 min late when the class had still spots. The front desk person is very rude and not at all accommodating. I will cancel my membership and never use this franchise ever.

I was just one min late to the class after my 5 min mark. Though I drove from far and couldn't find the parking, I was just one min late and they declined class. This is very rude and worst customer service ever. I loved the gym but need to rethink my membership because of these stupid policies. Hope you improve it and make it people friendly

Orange theory works y'all. Trust in it when I say so. I have been to other gyms and programs, but this is the one. I've been a member for the last 3 years at this studio. They truly make an effort to get to know their members and get them to their fitness goals. Justine the studio manager is very passionate about her work and is always asking members for feedback to improve the studio. The front desk is always welcoming and has the jams to get you pumped up from the moment you walk in. All coaches here have their own music styles, but you are guaranteed a good workout every time. This studio stands out to me the most and is my home studio because the coaches really do care about you. From your form, the weight selection you choose, to the speeds on the rower/threads. They will coach you through the entire class, calling you out when you are slacking. I seriously cannot believe after 3 years of attending, no workout is ever the same. That is just unbelievable. You never know what you are walking into each class! Thank you OT Willow Glen for being part of my life long workout journey and pushing me past my limits.

Iβve been going to Orange Theory since March of this year and itβs been a great experience! Iβve tried other studios and this one is the best. The front desk staff is very welcoming, and the studio manager Justine is always looking for feedback on how to improve the studio. The team comes up with creative ways to get us to participate and the music is always fun. If you ever get a chance to take class with Adam, youβll get a great a workout. Everyone is super social and itβs also a great place to make friends. Thanks to Orangetheory for getting me on that treadmill! Highly recommend.

I have been a member of OT from past 6 months, I decided to go after giving birth to two kids and thinking it will be a long and may be an impossible journey to get back to fitness with all new responsibilities and work. I wanted to be healthier and more active for my family, and I knew that I needed to find a way to make it happen. And OT came in and changed my life the vibe in OT started making me go a class every day, and I quickly fell in love with it. I have gained so much with OT in just a few months, I have more endurance, I dance better because of my improved stamina, and my heart health is better than ever. My Fitbit shows that my resting heart rate has decreased, and I have more energy throughout the day.
I am so grateful for OT. It has helped me to become a healthier and happier person.
If you are looking for a way to improve your health and fitness, I highly recommend OT. It is a great place to get started, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

TLDR, the front desk and trainers are nice, the classes are fine, there are some hidden fees, and the cancellation policy is obnoxious. As a company, Orange Theory feels kind of like that gym in Friends that Chandler couldn't find a way to cancel.
Some notes:
Classes: The structure of the class is isn't badβ30 mins of treadmill work and 30 minutes of HITT (weight lifting and rowing). The music is good and instructors are nice. The orange lights are cool if that does it for you. Personally, I found that it got repetitive pretty quickly and there was a bit too much treadmill work to justify the price.
Heart Monitor: When you do a free class, they let you use the heart monitor which is how you get your data on the main class screens. It's kind of the whole point of Orange Theory. If you want to use a heart monitor post sign up, you have to buy it. I can't remember the exact price, but it's over $100. You can also rent it for like $10 a class. The only time I tried to do that, they'd run out of rentals. I don't remember being told about having to buy it before I signed up, so it felt like a bait and switch to me.
Cancellations: The cancellation policy is a huge bummer. When you want to cancel, you have to purchase another month after after your last payment before they will cancel it. So, even though I cancelled today in August, and my last payment was a couple of days ago. I'll have to pay for it until November. Super annoying. I will say, this clause was in the contract, so they won this round.
I don't typically write reviews, but I felt personally wronged by the cancellation policy and wanted to try and spare Willow Glen from the same fate. If you're signing up, it might be worthwhile for you to ask them to strike that clause. Alternatively, you can write an equally long winded review when you incur a similar cancellation malfeasance down the road.

I was told that I could come in for an intro class but was denied entry since I was only 20 minutes early, not a full 30. There was literally no one there but the coach and front desk staff, but they refused to serve me. Very off putting.

The trainers here are great, but the sales staff is only interested in your money. They push you to sign up after you take the trial class and once you sign up they donβt care. They responded quickly whenever I had any questions about membership up until I signed up, but when I wanted to cancel the account and try to reach them, they never responded. I had plans to travel for 2 months so wanted to freeze my account and they said itβs $20 to freeze per month(which they certainly did not mention at the time of signing up in spite of repeatedly asking if I can freeze my account while traveling, they said yes of course as long as you want, but never mentioned that Iβd have to pay $20 to freeze per month) Iβve tried calling and texting multiple times but they donβt respond and just ghost you. On top of this they also want you to give a 30 day notice, which I did but still havenβt heard back from them and itβs so frustrating that theyβve made it so difficult to cancel the membership.

OTF has made such a difference in my life. In the past I would spend hours in gyms not seeing any results week to week. I also looked in private trainers and they charged an arm and a leg. OTF is the perfect balance. I get private training results at a cost I can afford and I can see real results. I feel great, I look great and can actually find the time to commit to my exercise routine! It's perfect!! Anyone serious about changing there health needs to seriously consider making OTF part of their life and fitness routine.

The overall energy at OTF Willow Glen is fantastic! Starting from the moment you walk in, the staff at the front desk welcome you with a smile and are ready to quickly assign stations and answer questions. The studio is clean and the calendar is always up to date displaying themed classes, challenges and events. The coaches are outstanding and the music is upbeat and motivating. I personally enjoy edm and hip-hop so I especially enjoy playlists from Coach Cynthia, Keenan, and Skie. The coaches are friendly, encouraging and correct you if your form is off. Plenty of parking in the back too.

Very happy with my time at Orabge Theory so far. The coaches are great, and having a group setting around me has really helped me maintain motivation and drive to keep coming back. It's a bit on the pricy side, but worth the cost to have access to the gym and trainers that work hard to get to know you and help you keep pushing week after week.

OrangeTheory Willow Glen has taken me from not being able to run a mile without stopping, to running a 5k, to completing a DriTri event (row 2,000 meters, 300 body weight exercises, then run a 5k). My workout routine includes attending Orange Theory classes twice a week, and sometimes more, with my daughter. The Willow Glen team is simply awesome, from the front desk staff to the amazing coaches. We think Daniel, Penni, Daron and Sue are extremely motivating, positive, and kind. I'm sure they are all wonderful, but we have certain times that we can go, so that group of 4 coaches are ours. The workout is one of the best I've ever experienced. Cardio, strength building, and endurance. I love it all. I happen to be in the "senior" category.....70 to be exact. But I have found that in life you really need to move your body, workout, get off the sofa and it will pay off tremendously. Willow Glen OTF is a dream come true for me.

The worst. I was double charged by Cupertino and Willow Glen for 6 months, and still waiting for a 1 month payment back from Willow Glen. They blocked my number and I can't reach anyone to get payment. Look at their yelp reviews, they have drama with instructors, people get fired left and right, and they have the worst customer service.

I have always been in sports or gone to a regular gym. OTF reminds me of my team days when we were all being led by a coach in the same activity. I don't have to go to the gym and try to figure out what I am supposed to be doing. Regular gyms can be intimidating for women, especially on the weight floor. I know every time I show up to a class I am going to get an amazing personal trainer style work out. Couldn't be happier with OTF and the WG staff :)

I. LOVE. OTF. It's such an amazing total-body workout! I felt so accomplished after my class. I unknowingly went in on a benchmark day (distance for 12 minutes) and I wasn't sure if I could do it... BUT I DID! Coach Daron was awesome at keeping us motivated and in the right headspace throughout the whole workout. I also loved the little bit of yoga we did in the last few minutes of class. I also love that each day is different - muscle confusion is the key! Thanks OTF Willow Glen and Daron for an amazing workout! I can't wait to go back! :)

Iβve taken about 250 classes at OTF so itβs a program you can stick with. The coaches, the variety, and the challenge make this the best gym experience Iβve ever had. I also have access to classes virtually anytime of the day no matter where I am while I travel. Lastly, I enjoy the people that I workout with. This is a really good workout! I've been with OTF for a few years now. I appreciate the flexibility of buying packs of classes since I use OTF as a "change of pace" workout rather than something I go to regularly. I always find the classes energetic and I always burn a buttload of calories and feel energized afterward, regardless of the specific template. Keep up the good work!

I signed up almost a month ago. I have an obsession. My boyfriend tells me all I can talk about is Orange Theory π. Iβm finding the more fit and toned I get, the harder I have to work, which may sound discouraging, but it means results are happening, and Iβm only on my 7th class! π β> I love how every day is different. While the first class may get confusing in a 3 Group with a few switches, itβs well worth it. The hour goes by quickly, the trainers are all amazing (Rachel and Daniel are my favorite!) though I havenβt taken a class with every trainer yet. I totally recommend the heart rate monitor. Iβm pretty competitive (with myself) and love watching my heart rate bump up to orange and red ! While it took some time to get my head around the pricing, it actually is a huge incentive for me to attend. Also, the fact that you get charged if you cancel within 8 hours gives me no excuse to not go, even when I think I donβt want to!

Orangetheory is a Great fitness class for anyone! I really love the upbeat, fast pace vibe of the course. The instructors have been A+ and the OT staff all seem to be really cool.
I attended a class as a guest of my girlfriend. I've been casually looking for a way to get more cardio before I start back to playing in a soccer league. After my first session I decided to sign up to attend classes twice a week.
Their fitness app doesn't have great reviews so I'm hoping they will improve that with future updates.
