Extremely disappointed with the way this location handles customer experience. The staff were unhelpful, and my concerns were not taken seriously. I recommend moving away from this location until they improve their customer support and service standards.

The heart rate monitors didn’t work on the station (which is kind of the whole point of this studio, right?) They also didn’t give any notice beforehand, we only found out at the beginning of the class, when it was too late to cancel. They didn’t offer a discount or any compensation, just delivered a half-reduced experience.

I just joined this week, for my class at 7:30, I arrived at 7:34 and the guy at reception literally fought over milliseconds!! and did not let me in! Front desk lacks professionalism and understanding!

If you're considering joining this studio, please read all the reviews before signing up. I truly regret not doing so myself.
This Studio is focused on squeezing money out of people than promoting fitness. Here are just a few frustrating policies I experienced:
1. You’ll be charged if you miss a free trial class, even if it's your first time.
2. If you sign up for a promo week and decide it's not for you, they'll still charge you an extra membership fee.
3. Trying to cancel? Be ready to pay for an extra month even if you're no longer attending.
4. One second late to class? That’s a $14 fee.
5. Removed from the waitlist a minute before class? You’ll still be fined before you even realize you were added to the session.
Their policies are predatory, and the staff doesn't show much flexibility or empathy when you try to resolve issues. Everything seems structured to benefit the studio, not the members.
I’ve been to other OrangeTheory locations and had far better experiences. If you’re set on OrangeTheory fitness, consider going to a different studio this one has been nothing but stressful and horrible experience.

I had a really disappointing experience with OrangeTheory. First of all, their policy of charging $30 for a single class is ridiculous — especially when I technically qualified for a free trial. But because I don’t currently live in the area (even though I’m visiting), they wouldn’t let me use it. It makes no sense for a national chain to have area-specific restrictions — why even call it the same brand then?
When I did attend the class, the heart rate monitor didn’t even work. They said they’d “assess it,” but clearly couldn’t fix it or offer a solution — which defeats the whole purpose of a class built around heart rate zones.
The coach was friendly and nice, but that didn’t translate into actual support or value. There was no feedback on my form, no correction, no tips for improvement — not even a check-in to ask about my goals or needs. Just a generic “ask if you have questions” at the end. Why would I spend that much money on a class where no one seems invested in helping me get better?
Overall, I felt completely unseen and unsupported. Definitely not worth the hype — or the price, perhaps just this one.

I was really disappointed with the lack of professionalism at the front desk. On top of that, requiring a full month’s notice to cancel a gym membership feels unreasonable and outdated. Gyms should make it easy to leave, not put up barriers.

I've been an Orange Theory member for years and have been to many different locations. This location, although convenient while traveling, is frustrating as a long time member.
This is considered a "premium" studio and requires an additional $10 fee for class, but the treadmills are the originals with the small screens and the plastic is wearing away on the settings. This is the exact opposite of "premium" and that of my home studio.
An area of improvement or suggestion for all the coaches here, please turn the music up. The music helps motivate and push past the hard points in the workout. After you provide instructions, please turn it up.

I would definitely rate 0 if given an option for orange theory. I wanted to pause my membership for few weeks and was asked to pay 20$ suspension fee. Never heard of any gym asking you to pay suspension fees. Next, when asked about cancellation policy they said you need to give 30 days notice. This is so unprofessional and a scam. They want to take money from you in every possible way. There are much better gyms offering better services, equipments and group workouts. Would never go back.

Their policies are horrible. They have a 30 day notice for cancellation which was never mentioned during sign up. Also to pause your membership you need to pay 20$ per month. These are some ways they earn money from you. I would recommend staying away from orange theory.

I’m very disappointed with the customer care policies at Orange Theory. I have developed medical conditions, and my doctor advised me to take a break from heavy exercises and the gym. When I tried to cancel my membership, I was informed that I still had to pay for the next month, even though I requested the cancellation more than 15 days before my next billing cycle.
I have called 4-5 times, but no one answers. I also sent emails multiple times, but there has been no response. The coaches are great, but the management is extremely poor. I do not recommend this place.

Title: Misleading Advertisements and Disappointing Experience at Orange Theory Fitness
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
I signed up for Orange Theory Fitness in January, lured by their enticing promotion of $25 for a month of classes and their claim of "cancel anytime you like." Little did I know that this would be the start of a frustrating experience.
After attending just one class, I decided that Orange Theory wasn't the right fit for me and attempted to cancel within the month. Unfortunately, my numerous phone calls went unanswered, leaving me with no choice but to persevere. Finally, after multiple attempts, I managed to get through to someone who agreed to cancel my membership. However, to my dismay, they still deducted a hefty $220 for the following month.
I explained my situation, emphasizing that I had only attended one class and came to the decision to cancel soon after. I mentioned their advertised "money back guarantee," expecting a full refund. However, the manager I spoke with was rude, unyielding, and refused to refund me the $220.
It is disheartening that a company that boasts such a guarantee does not honor it when customers genuinely want to cancel. I was petrified to learn that there was some small print in the contract requiring a one-month prior cancellation notice. How was I supposed to anticipate this when I had only attended one class and wished to cancel immediately?
The manager reluctantly granted me an extension until the end of April, but this does not address the core issue at hand. Why should I be forced to pay $220 for services I am unable to use due to circumstances beyond my control? It is clear that the marketing claims made by Orange Theory Fitness do not align with the reality of their contracts.
I write this review to caution others about the misleading advertisements and contractual obligations imposed by Orange Theory Fitness. Be wary of the promises they make, as they may not stand by them in practice. My experience has been disappointing, and I strongly urge anyone considering joining Orange Theory Fitness to thoroughly read and understand the terms before committing.
I am extremely disappointed by this unfortunate series of events and sincerely hope that Orange Theory Fitness reevaluates their policies to align with the transparent and customer-centric experience they advertise. As a customer who had high hopes for this fitness facility, I now find myself $220 short and dissatisfied.

After my first session, my Achilles injuries flared back up. When I let them know, that was the case they said, I still have to pay for the first month and second month. Do not recommend this place unless you want to be yelled at and see the color orange for an hour.

I booked morning 7.15am and while i was driving and 2 mins away from gym. i got call that appointment cancelled and told sorry we don't have place for 2g class and asked to book another time. So i had to return home and booked 8.15pm.
On next attempt to class, i came 4 mins late to 8.15pm class and was told they don't allow because i come late.
Here i made it flexible for orange theory and changed back to evening as they recommended.
But they cannot make flexible for 4 mins late. It’s pure business and not customers basis.
Btw front desk is rude.
Also if anyone miss class then its loss of session.

Discrimination at the reception and by the coach. The people at the front desk seem rude. I was given different information about referral money by two ppl. My call was not returned by the mission park location for cancellation of membership. But when I was enquiring for enrolling as a new customer they used to call me everyday.

In all the years that I have been a member of the Orangetheory family, I have never been treated as rudely as I was today at the Mission Park Studio.
It makes me sad to think that Nina is a “coach” for fitness and well being.
She is uninspiring and she made me feel uninterested in attending a Mission Park class in the future.

Coaches must realize that the energy they bring impacts the experience. I wish I would’ve had a chance to try the class but couldn’t get past the attitude and lack of support as a trial member. I’m not sure if she was just having a bad day due to the rain or if she doesn’t like coaching but it was very deflating and disappointing. I was excited about this class but left in low spirits. You know when you’ve had your coffee/pre-workout (times just right) and are ready for a workout? Welp that was a waste.
I felt totally unwelcome, rushed and unsupported. I’ll give a different location a try but THIS location is a strong “NO” for me.

Very new OTF studio. shout out to coach Amanda P (mid day class), wonderful job guiding our workout. The receptionists were friendly and professional, even had the Christmas sweaters on. Gender neutral bath/change rooms and nice num-lock lockers. Ample parking at the moment, not sure about the future since the plaza is still being completed with more restaurants etc. getting added.
Room for improvements: the spacing is very tight, especially the rowing machines. I kept bumping into my neighbor and we're pretty median-sized. We had to sort of tuck our arms in when we pull, just not the right form and could potentially cause injury. Given your room size I'm sure you can make adjustment there.
Good experience tho! Would recommend.
