Been meaning to write this review for awhile. For the time I trained here (moved out of town) my experience was fantastic. Coach Doug is a master of his craft - all I did was show up and follow his guidance and my results (I focused on strength) exploded. For anybody wanting to take their fitness to the next level, OHF is where you want to be. The community here is great as well.

This is a wonderful gym! It’s my home away from home, and I love coming here to train with Doug. He’s an excellent trainer and super skilled in many techniques so I can train hard with no injuries! It doesn’t matter if it’s a low or high energy day, there’s no judgement because everyone here is friendly and supportive. We all want the same thing, just to be better today than we were yesterday. This is where I achieve my fitness goals!

My husband and I decided we needed a lot of help on our fitness journey. I was referred to Doug in August 2022. Our first meetings he just listened to our goals and struggles then he put a plan in place catered to our individual abilities. He is by far the most knowledgeable coach/trainer I've ever met. We go into this gym without having to even think about our routine. He just puts us to work and we see the results. He puts our meal plans together and we just have to execute and we see results. We both have never felt stronger (and weaker and sore lol) or more hopeful. There are multiple trainers that are amazing at this gym so you really can't go wrong. The people are friendly and are there to work so it contributes to our drive. We love you Doug and are so grateful for you, thank you!

I cannot over state how much I have personally grown since my wife and I started going here two years ago. Coach Doug has been not only a coach and a mentor for my wife and I but also a great friend to us and our family. All the coaches are top notch human beings, not only good at coaching but from what I can tell incredible people. Attending this gym has become a family affair due to the gracious and inviting spirit that Coach Doug has provided. Coach Danny ( my brother) and I have worked out here together over the last year or so and have crushed our goals!! Bottom line the atmosphere is enough to get me in these doors each day not to mention the cleanliness and the usefulness of the set up.

Our House Fitness is hands down the best family owned gym in El Dorado Hills. It has all the equipment needed to get proper workouts in as well as a peaceful environment without a million people around you while getting your workout done. And to put the cherry on-top, Coach Danny as well as the other Coaches are very knowledgeable and get into depth with each and every client to reach the clients needs!

I had my last son right before Covid and then the gyms shut down, so I never lost my final pounds. Working out is my passion but I really needed help with my nutrition. I have learned so much from Coach Doug. I really needed someone to tell what and how much to eat. In the matter of a few weeks, my body started changing rapidly. Since having kids, I’ve worked out pretty consistently with small successes here and there, but nothing lasted. It wasn’t until I started working out with Couch Doug that I finally saw and felt the changes. He set me up with a realistic meal plan and challenging works 4 days a week. For the first time, there’s no intimidation and no guessing games when I go to the gym. Amazing Coach! Coach Doug definitely knows what he's doing. More important he knows the athletes/ gym members. He knows how to read a person and help you achieve your goals even if you don't know how to exactly say what you need. He can test your body, reflexes, the way you move and see what you need to work on. You can definitely see the difference after a few custom workouts, that was tailored to you, vs some tradition gyms where it's the same work out for everyone. Which can still work, but there's a difference in the results. Also this man knows his nutrition.. Don't hesitate to give this place a try.
