Eva is amazing. I started with 2 knee replacements. But after that I developed back pain and was concerned about my posture. I went to Eva and she did an evaluation. I had gone to a back specialist and opted first for chiropractic. I wasn’t seeing results. Also physical therapy after surgery was ok but the difference between that and Eva was different in that she tells me the reasons for every move. She also is very supportive. I know I have a long way to go but understand it is a process. Thanks Eva and thanks to my daughter for getting me to Eva.

I was experiencing leg pain from a pulled IT band caused by a trainer that did not consider my limitations. I tried PT and had not received any relief after 4 visits. Eva was recommended to me by a friend, so I booked an appointment with her and she helped relieve the pain after my second visit. I have continued to visit her weekly since and plan to continue seeing her weekly! The one-on-one attention that she gives her clients prevents injury so I feel confident under her care. Her sessions are both challenging and fun and I physically feel great after each session. Another plus is her studio location - it is easy to get to and offers plenty of street parking. I highly recommend Eva!

I started with Eva over a year ago to help with chronic back and foot pain. I'd already had surgery on one leg, but that had led to neuropathy and I didn't want to risk my other leg. Within months of pilates/exercise work with Eva, I was able to walk better and the pain has not returned. Dramatically, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019. She worked with me every week to make sure I was able to keep moving, at whatever level I was capable of. Through chemo, surgery, and radiation, she worked with my schedule and my limitations to make sure I could keep exercising and keep my body as healthy as possible. I will never be able to thank her enough for keeping me strong through my battles.

I used to think that Pilates was only for ballet dancers, but since I have been doing Pilates under the guidance of Eva Wennes, I have learned that anyone, including a mature woman like me, can greatly benefit. I have much greater strength, balance and agility. I have even returned to the height I was as a much younger person! It is amazing how much better I feel now that actually stand up straight, instead of that “rounded shoulder, head stuck out” that is so typical of people as they age. We are so glad we found Eva! Been going to Pain Free Pilates for a while now and every time we go Eva’s positive energy and kind attitude makes each class very pleasant. Eva is very knowledgeable with what each of us should and should not do with our bodies. I suffered from back and neck issues and was unaware I was doing exercises I should not be doing. At Pain Free I am learning my body limits and what works best for my pain. Needless to say, I haven’t been in pain in a very long time. She has been a phenomenal help to me in recognizing my postural dysfunctions and learning how to stay free from pain. She is very knowledgeable about body mechanics. Eva is the best Pilates instructor I have ever had. I have been doing semi-private sessions with her for the last three years and I can't imagine ever going to see someone else. She is extremely knowledgeable about the human body and pays very close attention to how you do each exercise. She is very creative about incorporating different exercises and works muscles that I didn't even know I had. I noticed a big difference in my beach volleyball game and yoga practice after seeing Eva for the last few years. I am significantly stronger and my body is more balanced and hence less prone to injury. I used to have chronic lower back pain which has completely disappeared. I have sent many friends to Evan and all of them have loved her.
She is very passionate about what she is doing and it shows!!!
