My friend and I have been training with Nick for over a year now. I cannot recommend this place enough. Nick has helped us get stronger while working around all my existing and new injuries. I personally feel so much better and fitter. He is also trying to help me get better with my running. I’ve also worked with other trainers in small group sessions or makeup sessions (Jamilla and Rex) and they are also great.

After having knee surgery, I wanted to start working again with a personal trainer to help strengthen my knee. Palladino Personal Training opened up in my neighborhood so I went to check them out. I was very impressed with their focus on developing a personal workout plan which was unique to what I wanted and needed. Aaron Capizzi is my personal trainer and he is definitely the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. I really like the customized workout plan that he has developed for me and he pushes me, in a positive way, to achieve my goals. Since September of last year, Nick and his colleagues have been training both my child and me to meet our different needs. Because our training goals are not the same, Nick designed separate, effective training plans for us, and we have been very satisfied with the results.

I believe Nick is an outstanding coach. He has the ability to make training engaging and enjoyable, turning workouts from exhausting routines into something fun. He is also an excellent motivator, adjusting the training appropriately based on our progress, making the sessions more efficient and effective.

After just a few sessions with him, you’ll find that he is incredibly friendly, easy to get along with, and very patient, making the training time fly by. Most importantly, he is highly knowledgeable and has deep insights into training. He explains the principles behind the exercises and analyzes key movements in detail, allowing me to continue training effectively at home.

At first, I was reluctant to work with a personal trainer since I had never used one before. Nick Palladino changed all of that. Nick is well experienced and his training methods are definitely proven. In the two years, I have been working with him, I have witnessed significant improvements in my core strength, range of motion, and flexibility. He partners with you to customize workouts that are geared toward meeting your fitness goals. And top of all of this, Nick is just a great guy. He is one of the friendliest, most down to earth people you will meet.

Nick’s studio in Belmont is completely state of the art. It has all of the equipment that you need for a complete workout. Simply put, if you are looking for a trainer, look no further than Palladino Personal Training. I am grateful that I did as it has made a tremendous difference in my life!

I would give Palladino Personal Training 10 stars if I could! I've been training with Nick for 13 years now. I was one of his first clients, and can't imagine "life without Nick." Thanks to Nick, I'm stronger at 67 than I was in my 40s. Seriously. I don't have any of the ailments my peer group typically has--my mobility, balance, alertness, strength are all great. Before working out with Nick, I thought I had a bad back because of a couple of bad discs, but 99% of the time I forget that it was ever an issue because of how strong I've become.

Nick has worked with me throughout surgeries, moves, vacations, and other life changes. Throughout all these years, I have watched him evolve as a leader. He has shared his vision, knowledge and technique with the other trainers. During our sessions, we've talked about how he mentors them, and I am always impressed with his wealth of knowledge--not just about training and physical health, but also about motivation for both the client and the trainer, and how he encourages his highly qualified trainers to view each client as an individual with unique training needs.

He interviews each trainer with great intention, making sure that they would be a good fit for his clientele. I can tell that he is a respectful boss, which means that turnover is low, which is really important when training. I am excited that there is now a studio with so much great equipment and a way to get to the fitness and strength levels we can all achieve with the patient help of Nick and his trainers.

So, if you're looking to get stronger in a beautiful and well cared for studio, give Nick and his trainers a chance. You won't regret it!

I've been working with Aaron for almost 4 months now and he has been wonderful! Unfortunately, I am a bit injury prone (having started personal training sessions with a prior ankle injury) and have had a few more injuries since the start of this year, and Aaron has been very considerate and has so much knowledge to be able to work around my various injuries, without further injuring myself and still getting a good workout in. He makes sure to challenge you and definitely listens to your personal goals. My goals included strength training to help support my snowboarding hobby (his core training has definitely helped me on the mountain this season), Aaron has also provided advice on nutrition, as well as given me ergonomic strengthening exercises to help me at work. He is also a great conversationalist which makes our sessions even better! At first, I was hesitant to hire a personal trainer, but I'm pleased with my experience here. I definitely plan on continuing sessions for a while.

Nick is also so friendly and never fails to say hello whenever I see him.

Aaron is a very friendly, down to earth and a sincere fitness trainer. He keeps the routine challenging and as you gain strength will introduce new routines.
It has really helped build my core strength sooner than expected.

I am just now cooling down from a workout with Nick! I've been training with Nick for over two years now and finally realized it is long past time to do a review.

Working with Nick has been fantastic. He's knowledgeable, professional, punctual and has great attention to detail. We started training in the early days of COVID and he came to our house at that time, but it has been over Google Meet since then. This works out just fine, though it was probably good that we started out in person. Nick pays close attention to my technique and gives pointers and reminders when appropriate. Most workouts tend to follow a similar pattern (lower body, upper body and then core), but each one is enough different than the last to keep it interesting.

Maybe the thing I most appreciate is that Nick is always able to instantly adapt to whatever is going on with my body. If I tweak my back from over-aggressive gardening, he changes exercises to ones that won't stress that portion of my back. When I developed tennis elbow (not from our workouts!) he added exercises and stretches that helped resolve it.

I'm just a couple weeks from my 66th birthday and I feel stronger, and look better physically than I have in at least 25 years. Thanks Nick!

A quick update, almost a year later. Still devoted to my sessions with Nick. Since the previous review I developed sciatica which (who knew?) is really painful! Because my wife and I were headed out on a very active vacation, I got a cortisone shot which cleared it up for maybe six weeks, but of course it then started to reassert itself. I did go to a physical therapist--which Nick totally supported--and was hopeful that I could learn techniques from the therapy sessions that Nick and I could incorporate into our training, so I could conquer the sciatica permanently. Nick even went with me to one of the therapy sessions so he could learn as much as possible about how to deal with this particular issue. In the end I think this was slightly useful, but what I really got from it was that we should keep doing what Nick was already coaching me to do, with slightly more emphasis on core strengthening. And the therapist said that my core was already MUCH stronger than the typical patient he treats for this. Since then Nick has adapted our workouts slightly, my core is definitely stronger than it has ever been, and I've had zero sciatica pain. I guess the message is that Nick continues to be very thoughtful about my individual needs, and instantly adapts the workouts as needed to accommodate whatever is going on. Thanks again Nick!

Aaron is the man!

I hit a plateau in my strength training, so went to Palladino to try and figure it out. Aaron helped me get back on track. I used to find certain lifts (e.g. deadlift & squat) very intimidating. Turns out my form sucked and Aaron set me straight. He taught me proper form and set me up with a great routine. As a result my strength is improved, right along with my confidence. Highly recommended!

I worked with Aaron in Palladino personal training and had a great experience with him. He has a very positive attitude and pushes you just the right amount. He listens to your goals and tunes the workout based on that. He is very encouraging and overall you always feel great after the workout with him. He is very patient too. One time I had to take my very active 7 year old son with me during a session and he was all over the place trying weights and Aaron handled him patiently and professionally.

Palladino Personal Training is a top-rate training studio. You can tell right when you walk in that the focus is on providing personalized training and that the staff and owner truly care about their athletes. Nick has trained my wife and I for years, and kept us sane and fit through two pregnancies, career changes and other personal hardships. Nick helped tailor our training to fit our needs, adapting training on the fly when we travelled without equipment. He also provided detailed training plans to achieve personal goals like summiting Mount Whitney.

We have been working with Nick for nearly half of year now. Nick is such a great trainer. He is professional, friendly and prompt. He comes to our home to train us weekly and pushes our limit to the right degree every time. He is also very observant and flexible. Once, I had a pain (probably caused by running). He patiently took the time to observed how I run and gave me many good tips to avoid any in-appropriate posture. From time to time, he charms us by leaving us a note on our treadmill "please do 3 sets of push-up before you run'. Luckily, he never checks on us for that :-)

Update: my husband I have been training with Nick for 3.5 years now. He trained me even during my pregnancy. If you can get anyone from Nick's team, you won't regret it!!

I wanted to try a personal trainer for some time. My assistant helped me find the best near by and this one came up top. They scheduled an in-person consultation, and we agreed to start the following Monday. However, Sunday night the personal trainer texted he was not feeling well, so we had to reschedule. Well, those things happen, so I said it was ok. The next session would be on Wednesday. However, the owner Nick Palladino texted me the evening before (today) to say that the personal trainer was no longer working for them, and no one could help me in the mornings. He asked me if I wanted to continue working with them or not, and my answer was no as I had already invested a week between consultation and being cancelled twice. Funny enough, he texted me - instead of someone else, complaining about me for calling out that they wasted my time. Thus, if you want to work with them my advice is simple don't. They might be good - or not, at what they do but the way they organize their business is messy.

I had been looking for strength training classes for a while. After a long search online, I found Palladino Personal Training. Nick put me in touch with Ben Rubin. Ben comes on weekends to a park in my neighborhood so its worked out perfectly. I had never done strength training before and was a complete beginner. Frankly, I was intimidated at the start. He has been training me since November 2021 and I have learned a lot. Ben is great about correcting form and making sure I’m doing the excercises right so I don’t hurt myself and am making the most of my workout. Ben will tell you when things need to be corrected but also gives a lot of positive feedback as well (thank you for that!). Ben is full of knowledge and a fun person to be with. He’s also offered me some self defense moves so I can feel more protected. He’s honest, respectful of time/ health matters and has your best interest in mind. I look forward to my sessions.

I have been training with Nick for almost 2 years now and am so happy to have found him. He sat down with me and discussed my goals before we started and completely tailored a workout regime that helped me reach these goals. He has also updated and adapted the workout to suit where I am with my training and given me some great tips on what to do when traveling to keep the momentum going. I am feeling so much better every day since I started working with Nick.

On a personal level, I really enjoy the workouts I have with Nick. We have great conversations during the workout and the time flies by. He also is great at incorporating my kids into the workout as they want to join in so he makes it fun for everyone.

Earlier this year I hurt my lower back at work and had to stop working out for a month. Nick developed a new plan to that focused on working the rest of my body while taking care of my back while it was recovering. Within a few weeks I was able to resume a full workout plan and my back feels better than ever.

He's a great guy, very knowledgable, very tough, very pleasant, never misses a workout. He's truly deserving of a full 5 STARS.

I started working out with Nick when I was pregnant with my second child. He has since seen me through a third pregnancy, recovery, weight loss, and all the daily craziness of raising 3 young kids. Training with Nick these past 4 years has been therapeutic: time carved out just for me, which makes me feel stronger mentally as well as physically. Nick makes it as easy to exercise as possible (short of actually doing the burpees and planks for me!): comes to my home, always shows up on time, responds promptly to any messages, modifies exercises when needed, and customizes each workout to best help me meet my fitness goals. I had Nick for 3 years as my personal trainer. What I loved most about him was his ability to keep the workouts varied the entire time I was with him. Throughout that time I pulled a few muscles and hurt myself (doing activities outside of his workouts) and he was able to design the sessions in a way that worked around my injury. He was always understanding when my schedule changed or i needed to do a workout a little earlier, later, or a different day. He was very good at learning my specific strengths, and when to push me and when not to, I always came out of his sessions feeling like it was a hard, but doable workout. I would still be with him now but I moved to NY for work. He's absolutely excellent and would recommend him to anyone.

Over the last 3 years Nick has helped my husband and I achieve our fitness goals while having full-time jobs and young kids. While we train with Nick in our living room, He brings all the gear. It's very cost effective when compared to a gym membership and personal training fees. Without Nick, we'd rarely get to exercise.

Nick's exercise program is flexible and tailored to meet the different physical needs between my husband and me. We have seen great improvements in our weight, muscle mass and endurance. He is the right balance of firm and friendly. Highly recommend!

Nick is an outstanding trainer. I'm almost 70 and not a natural athlete. Over the past 5 years Nick has developed a gradual plan to meet my goals of improved strength and balance. He's adjusted workouts to meet challenging conditions such as sickness or injury and varies my sets to keep the workouts interesting. Throughout, he encourages me to eat properly, exercise regularly and, generally, enjoy life. My results include stable weight and defined muscles in my abs, arms and legs. I can do many things I would not have considered a few years ago. For example, I will be running the California International Marathon from Folsom to Sacramento this December.
