When I moved out to Indian Wells from LA, I was looking to continue my Pilates training . I have a ballet background and was looking for someone who has years of Pilates experience and knowledge. Lucky me!! I found Palm Desert Pilates. I’ve been going to Patti for five years now and I love her studio and her years of teaching and her professional training have helped me stay fit and strong. Her eye for detail and her focus and commitment to make every session fun and dedicated to my specific needs has enabled me to move forward with grace and ease while building more strength. Every session is a little different, using all the Pilates designed equipment to tap in on all our physical needs. If you’re looking for a real PRO…she’s the gal!! CBJ

Patti is a experienced, wonderful teacher. She provides personal guidance to each student in a small group setting. The studio also has a variety of equipment to work on so you are constantly challenged and working different muscles.

A professional studio with a highly skilled instructor who has been teaching Pilates for 25 years. Patti is also a dancer and is very knowledgeable about the ways our muscles and joints need to be moved and stretched to create strength, flexibility, and minimize injury. I have learned so much about my body by listening to her talk about the piriformas, gluteus medius, etc. and she explains the principals of Pilates to help us understand why we are moving in specific ways. I found the studio by doing an internet search, and I began Pilates with two bad knees. By using her equipment (reformer, Cadillac, and chair) and doing floor exercises, Patti helped me get stronger so I could have an easier recovery from knee surgery. When I returned after my surgery, she modified my exercise, slowly building up my strength. Before I had to push myself with my hands to get out of a chair. Now I can plank and do squats and pushups. The classes run a full hour and are limited to a maximum of six, filled with lovely people of all ages, some of whom with joint issues, some Golfers and tennis players who want to improve their games, and some of us who just want better health. I can’t say enough about this kind woman and her amazing knowledge and beautiful studio. Once you complete your private lessons you choose weekly schedule and that time is yours. No internet signup, no showing up and being turned away because the class is full, no waiting lists, no choosing between different instructors with various skill levels. Perfect for everyone.
Update: I am still loving my class, my workout, my teacher, and my fellow classmates. Check out her new studio!

I took pilates teacher training classes with Patti. It was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. She is a very knowledgeable, helpful and patient.
Her studio is amazing and I felt comfortable right away.
