I have been a member for four years. I truly appreciated the intentionality and community of this CrossFit gym.
I was weary about CrossFit and they were great about scaling options and instruction.
I especially loved Chelsea’s gymnastics class. I’m humbled every week yet enjoy the challenge!
Thank you to the team for everything

Joined for a one week pass(unlimited everything-haven’t seen that previously, usually it’s open gym or classes only )
They actually have access to two locations with this pass .
The vibe is super nice and the coach is awesome(Culver city location)! I also popped into a class-the coach does extremely good job with explaining everything for the class!! A++
They have all the erg and assault runners ,bunch of rowers and even the ATH machines/thingies for your Achilles etc.
Also db’s up to 100 lbs.

I dropped in for a class at Paradiso CrossFit in Culver City and had a fantastic experience! The workout was challenging but fun, and the energy in the gym was super positive. I’ve been training at Paradiso for over two years, and recommend it to anyone looking to maximize their fitness through whole-body training. This CrossFit gym excels at delivering a balanced, full-body workout experience that leaves you stronger, fitter, and more energized.
The programming here is excellent and the athletes are cool. A week of workouts will engage all major muscle groups and over a month will engage them all. Whether it’s strength work like deadlifts and squats, gymnastic movements like pull-ups, or high-intensity cardio like kettlebell swings and burpees, each WOD (Workout of the Day) feels like a complete body tune-up. And please don’t be intimidated if it’s been a minute since you did a pull-up because all the movements can be scaled.
If you’re looking for a CrossFit gym that prioritizes whole-body training, Paradiso is the place to be. It’s not just a workout—it’s a lifestyle that builds strength, endurance, and makes you feel invincible. Sign up for a trial class with Diso, the owner; you won’t regret it!

Great Drop-In Experience at CrossFit Paradiso Venice
I had the chance to drop in at CrossFit Paradiso Venice Beach yesterday, and it was an awesome experience! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and given a tour of the facility. The staff and coaches were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home.
The workout itself was intense and challenging—in the best way possible! The coaching was top-notch, with clear instructions and great motivation throughout the session (I almost died, but in a good way!).
Overall, I highly recommend CrossFit Paradiso Venice to anyone looking for a great workout with a fantastic community. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in LA

I recently moved to Los Angeles in the Culver/Mar Vista area and dropped into Paradiso CrossFit for a few classes with my partner. I had a great time, the coaches were nice and super helpful, and I was surprised at how social the other class attendees were - it felt super welcoming! Would highly recommend, can’t wait to keep going here!

I’ve been a Paradiso member and friend of the gym since 2015. After moving away from the west side for a bit, I recently moved back and have taken some classes with Paradiso again! The Culver location was definitely needed, as there weren’t many community-based strength and fitness classes in the area. The facility is great, I love that there are SHOWERS, and the coaches are awesome.

Exceptional CrossFit Experience!
I've been attending Paradiso CrossFit in Culver City/Los Angeles for the last 6 months and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The team here is incredible – David's management ensures a seamless and welcoming environment, while Chelsea and other instructors expertise shines through in every class. Their knowledge is unparalleled, and they're always eager to assist with any questions or guidance. The one-hour classes are perfectly designed for an ideal balance of intensity and learning. I've been CrossFitting since 2014, I am also a project manager, I travel a ton and crash classes at CF gyms from the small-town in the country side fun barn workouts to gyms breeding CrossFit games athletes all over the USA and Canada. I just moved to Playa del Rey and read a few reviews and tried this gym out, and I am now a member. Out the LA gyms that I have tried out, Paradiso Culver is up there with the top gyms, not just for LA but across North America in terms of programming, equipment, and community. Yes there are larger (size) gyms with more square footage but we are talking Kentucky, Texas where they got land to spare. Oh wait, Paradiso has 2 gym locations hehe. I can't speak for how Paradiso works with new members that have zero experience because I am not one of them. But from my experience their programming and their community, WOW. If you are not inspired by their fit community and serious athletes working out side by side with you and cheering you on, the friendliest peers, their solid programming, not to mention their newsletter (community events and announcing / explaining programming). Mannnnnnn then Pelotons rides and globo swims should be in your horizon. These guys are doing it right, checking all the boxes. They even have showers for those rushing out to work and plenty of parking to go around in a City where parking sucks. Okay I am done. Slow clap Paradiso, cheers.

Have been going to Paradiso for over 3 years now and highly recommend to anyone no matter their skill level. The coaches are top notch and really care about movement quality and scaling where appropriate.
For anyone brand new to CrossFit, intro classes are taught 1 on 1 by David Paradiso (owner) which is a great way to get started.
The gym also caters to more advanced individuals and has every piece of equipment that an athlete would need.
Classes run all morning and evening, starting as early as 5:30am and running as late as 8pm. The community is amazing and everyone is extremely friendly and open (and fit)!

Love it here. After having gone through previous gyms, this has been the best experience in terms of coaching and programming. The gym also focuses a lot around community and it’s easy to make friends if you try. Definitely felt welcomed and was quickly rid of the new gym jitters.

As someone who recently returned to the Los Angeles Area in look of a new Box it became pretty clear that COVID had wiped out a lot of the Xfit gyms in the area. I had heard about Paradiso but on the outside it looked like the gym would be very small and the prices seemed a little high. I am happy to say that I was wrong on both accounts. The space is actually huge, so don't judge a book by its cover. Seriosuly though its massive, just go inside and you'll be shocked. They have good parking for the members and if you cant find parking the Culver City surrounding neighborhood has tons of parking where you do not need a permit and the no parking times are reasonable. Lastly, the price was not as bad as I originally thought. I started going through class pass but became a full member since they are always offering reduced pricing, I felt like I came so often I would be a fool not too. In all its a great place, great location, clean gym, lots of equipment, great coaches, they will work on a price that suits your needs, and an all around great experience.

Great gym that offers a wide range of classes and programs designed to cater to individuals of all fitness levels!
One of the standout features of Paradiso CrossFit is their experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff, who are committed to helping members achieve their fitness goals safely and effectively. The gym is also equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including rowing machines, weightlifting racks, and pull-up bars, to ensure members have everything they need to get a great workout.
Overall, if you're looking for a gym in Culver City that offers a challenging and rewarding workout experience, Paradiso CrossFit is definitely worth checking out!

As someone who loves staying active and making the most of my time and opportunities, Paradiso Crossfit has been an awesome environment for me from day one.
As I’ve spent more time here, I’ve built enriching relationships that span both inside and outside of the gym.
I never thought I’d compete in a weightlifting meet, but through awesome coaching and a supportive community, I decided to go for it!
The regular seminars are also a great thing to take advantage of to work on both skills and lifestyle changes. David is always looking for ways to improve the member experience.

Top 3 reasons to consider Paradiso CrossFit Culver City coming from a long time personal trainer, CrossFit trainer, and athlete.
1. Egos are left outside of the door. Unfortunately nowadays, there are too many gyms and CrossFit boxes that have too big of an ego which carries into the gym, classes, and environment. Paradiso doesn't entertain this and that is something I sincerely appreciate.
2. Professionalism and experience. Paradiso CrossFit has been around for a decade and they continue to be transparent in their communication for improving and iterating their coaching, programming, and customer experience. Not to mention, they are the only CrossFit box in Los Angeles area with a legitimate gymnastics coach which translates to learning the gymnastic movements properly so that you don't build bad habits and as a result you achieve the movement faster.
Additionally, they also plan their workouts 1-2 months in advance while incorporating percentages which will help drive real measurable results. This might be a technical thing but it really does matter in the fitness industry as it shows preparation and thoughtfulness.
3. Convenience. With 2 locations in Culver City and Venice, you have the option to go to both at your convenience. Both locations have parking so you don't have to spend time looking for a parking spot on the street and be filled with anxiety as to whether you're going to walk into a parking ticket or even pay extra for valet or a parking structure.
I highly recommend giving Paradiso a try and would gladly help answer any questions you might have!

Best CF gym in LA, without a doubt! I love that they have 24/7 open gym, and access to multiple different programs. When you walk in there might be advanced athletes doing heavy Olympic lifts, others doing long cardio, some doing the glute class programming, and everyone else in the regular group class. The environment is super inspiring and welcoming. It’s really easy to introduce yourself to other members and the coaches. Everyone shares equipment and space so you never feel judged, rushed, or cramped. I’ve been doing open gym and glute class for last 6 months and have had incredible results post pandemic.

I have competed for decades in Olympic Weightlifting and I started training at Paradiso Crossfit almost nine years. The open gym access allowed me the focus necessary to continue winning titles, breaking records and the ability to represent Team USA. The Culver location provides a great deal of space from morning to night in a prime location in Los Angeles that is especially convenient when I have meetings or events in Downtown, West Hollywood or South LA area.

I have been a member of Paradiso Gym for 5 years. I currently utilize the Culver City location mostly but do visit the Venice location from time to time. After visiting many different CrossFit gyms in Southern California Paradiso is by far the leader in coaching quality, facility upkeep and renovation as well as member friendly class and open gym scheduling. If you are new to CrossFit or an experienced athlete I highly recommend dropping in for a class. Their onboarding program also makes it easy for newcomers to join the friendly community.

I am writing this review in the hopes that management addresses the issues raised with the coach.
I dropped in here on a Saturday and had the worst experience I’ve ever had in a CrossFit gym in my life. The coach was Madison, who was basically on her phone the entire time. I walked in and she was on her phone. When class started, her coaching was so lackluster and uninspired. We did hang power cleans which she just showed twice with a PVC pipe. And then she let the class do the lifting portion, while she talked to the people doing open gym. No coaching or going around to help people whatsoever.
During the WOD portion of class, she switched between standing and sitting while looking at her phone. She chatted more with people doing open gym than the actual people doing class.
Madison was the most unprofessional coach I’ve ever had in any CrossFit gym ever.
After class, I approached and spoke with a regular member of the gym and asked him about Madison. He said that that’s normal for her.
What an awful experience. Paradiso management needs to address this issue and reform Madison’s coaching style and engagement with class.

I love this place! After moving from out of state, I was concerned about finding a CF "box" that I could feel as comfortable as my old one in UT which I had attended for about 3 years. After looking around, I decided to try Paradiso and I haven't got any regrets about it, I feel at home right here. I also feel that under the directions of the trainers, I have made improvements in my lifts and my times. I love the fact that we also have track nights, and swimming nights as well. On top of that, there are "extra" activities outside the gym and they encourage you to go out and participate in races and other events to overcome your fears, and they support you with your goals. They are a pretty good bunch. Come and see!
