I usually take classes with a different instructor, but while they were on vacation, they encouraged me to try a few new teachers. I decided to visit Park West Pilates, a private studio owned and taught by master instructor Nancy Tenoglio --and I'm so glad I did.
From the moment I arrived, Nancy created a welcoming and professional environment. Even though it was my first class with her, she took the time to learn about my background and experience, offering personalized guidance and thoughtful adjustments throughout the session.
Every movement was explained with precision and purpose, and Nancy had an incredible eye for detail--gently refining my form to help me move more efficiently and with better alignment. Her class was challenging but balanced. I loved it!
I left feeling taller, stronger, and more connected to my body.
I'm really grateful I took the opportunity to step outside my usual routine and look forward to scheduling another session with Nancy the next time I am in her neck of the woods.

I danced around returning to Pilates for several years; and since coming back to this amazing discipline, I crave it and my body respects it and it is changing because of it. No session is ever the same, Nancy knows her stuff and when I leave I feel this amazing calm and strength. Thankful for her instruction and studio. 6 stars!🤩

Initially I was only joining to help with some balance issues I had after major surgeries; that was many years ago and I haven't quit. After several attempts over the years at trying to stick to a fitness routine, pilates has won me over. I have joined other facilities in the past, ranging from the "big box" gyms to personal private studios, never following through. Either it felt like a meat market, or life gets too busy and I just ended up quiting. No one ever held me accountable, just took my money every month to never hear from them again. If I didn't go, they didn't care. Here, that's not the case. The instructors/trainers take the time to get to know you on a personal level. The class sizes are small, making each session feel like a private session. Nancy and Steph are amazing instructors. They keep an eye on every attendee’s form, making sure you are getting the benefit of each movement; however small it might be. I can’t cheat, even when I want to! They are also aware of each person’s individual issues and make accommodations while still accomplishing the end result. Overall the personal attention and friendly atmosphere keeps me coming back. Not to mention the fact that I'm toning and feeling physically better than I have in years. I can’t say enough great things about Park West Pilates!

One of my favorite spots when I'm in the area. Nancy is an experienced instructor that knows how to tailor your practice to protect from injury and to heal from existing issues. She's also got a great attitude and has no problem getting to test your limits safely. Check her out, she's a hidden gem!
