Personalized coaching. Excellent, knowledgeable staff. Not your usual gym box. Not cheap, not outrageous either. Great deal for what you get.
If you are serious about progressing your conditioning. This is the place.
Overall, I feel lucky to have found such a place.

Wanna be at PEAK health & fitness? Add some acai to your diet!
PEAK/CheckMat is a multidiscipline fitness gym, offering BJJ, judo, grappling, boot camps & interval training. Located at the front is an Acai Bar selling 12 oz cups of organic, non-GMO acai. I've had acai before, but never any acai bowls. I was told PEAK's acai is authentic to the Brazilian way of enjoying acai.
$7 seems like a tad much for a 12 oz cup, but to emphasize, the acai is organic & non-GMO. It's gritty, chockfull of beneficial fat & reminiscent of chocolate. The granola added a nice crunchy texture to the delicious cup, but I think I'd ask for w/o granola next time. That way I'll have more of that acai goodness to savor.
The Acai Bar at PEAK is more a grab n' go spot, refreshing yourself after a grueling workout. There is a bar-style table to enjoy your acai, but not a fancy place to catch up over long conversation.
Service was good. The owner extolled the virtues of his OSS acai concentrate over the filler-laden acai bowls that frequent "health" spots, which masks the true taste of the superfood known as acai.
Parking is in a private lot shared by Starbucks, In N' out, Taco Bell, Smart N' Final etc.
Interesting factoid - I actually grow 2 5-gallon "Para" acai palms at home, which I grew from seeds. They are about a foot tall & haven't fruited just yet. The "Para" variety is supposed to fruit when only around 3 feet tall, so I'm hoping by next year to have some fresh acai to eat. The acai palm is an uber tropical plant which would normally die during our cold Winters, necessitating my relocating the palms indoors during that season to keep them warm.
Get all the benefits of acai in just a matter of minutes, no noisy blenders or nickel & dime add-on's to deal with. The Acai Bar at PEAK serves the highest quality acai product for the maximum benefits. Great on a hot day or after sweating it out in one of PEAK's fitness classes, say hello to acai & cheers to your health!
Highly recommend!
