I made 1 phone call about private sessions. It lasted sub 10 minutes. I explained what I was looking for. We exchanged a few text messages. Then I spent a month of mostly private sessions with Coach LaMonte. I got stronger, was able to calculate body fat % before/after, learned more about my body, other exercises, some back pain I experienced, etc. The entire experience was exactly what I was looking for. No fuss, no non-sense, targeted training. I'll be back when I'm in town. Grateful to have met Coach LaMonte!

This September, I will begin my journey as a college STUNT athlete. I started training with Coach LaMonte in late March to prepare for the upcoming season. I found Peakfit Strength & Conditioning on an INSTAGRAM add @peakfitsandimas 😄offering a free training session. After meeting coach LaMonte, I decided to give it a try since I was not seeing any improvements in my body while going to the gym on my own. Coach LaMonte measured my weight and body fat percentage, then he asked me about my fitness goals. Based on that he customized my exercises.

Since I started training with coach I have gained 2” in my butt and more muscle in my entire body. I am no longer afraid of lifting weights because he has shown me the right way to do it.

I highly recommend this place if you want to get in better shape and get physically stronger.

Now that I am pregnant, coach LaMonte has been helping me to stay motivated to keep working out and staying physically active and fit.

I decided I was ready to make some changes in my health but I knew I needed extra support, knowledge and encouragement from someone else. I am so glad I found Coach LaMonte and PeakFit. From day one, he has been an amazing Personal Trainer. During my first session I could barely squat, do a push up, and had pretty bad form with free weights. I was so out of shape. What can I say.. LaMonte is beyond Amazing! Had a really rough year after a terrible hit of Covid November of 2020 followed by debilitating Long hauler symptoms for almost a year afterward! I can't say enough about Lamonte. At the beginning of the year, i decided to get healthy. i don't say healthIER because i was wreck physically. there was nothing healthy about me. It took me till April to finally start. I told him my goals, and also that I basically don't do anything physical. He setup a diet plan and workout plan which he guided me through all the way. each workout session was planned to help me get to the goals I set. Personally, being a female Naval Academy Candidate who did not have much arm strength, I thought it would be hard for me to learn to do a single pull-up. However, with continual training and guidance & support from LaMonte, I went from 0 to 6 pull-ups in a matter of six months. Even after, he taught me step by step to develop arm and leg strength. I learned so many tips for numerous exercises and trainings which helped with my Cadet Fitness Assessment which was the athletic entrance test for the Naval Academy. ​ When I first started training with Lamonte, it was initially because I wanted to have a ‘fit body.’ My brother had told me how good the workouts were at Peakfit and so I joined. However, I quit after the 1st month because my ‘why’ for joining wasn’t real enough to sustain the elusive ideal body image I desired. I left Peakfit and finally came back 3 months later once I had sat down and talked to myself about what my goals really were. Yes, as females we want to look thin or fit not only for ourselves but for others to admire as well. That won’t keep you motivated for long though. Lamonte truly inspired me to be more than just a gym member looking for a way to have a nice body. He helped me realize and reinforce that I was confident, strong, fast, a people’s person, and dedicated. The true reason I stood at Peakfit was because I wanted my dreams of using my athleticism and determination to achieve a greater purpose for my life. This manifested into giving me the courage to apply to the fire department and because I trained tirelessly at his gym, I was able to meet the challenge of all the physical and agility tests required of me. Before joining PeakFit , I weighed 221 pounds. When I signed up for the foundational classes there were 3 items where I wanted to see improvement: weight loss, energy and endurance. And within the first month all of these were present. In the first 4 weeks I lost 10 pounds, felt more energetic and could work out longer. At 4 months I have successfully lost 35 pounds!
