The community here is unmatched and the coaches are super knowledgeable, encouraging and energetic. Ellie is the best there is, highly recommend taking her class, especially if you’re new to working out. The classes are programmed with intention and are an equal mix of challenging and fun. Definitely worth giving it a try!

Excited to work out because of these guys. The coaches are knowledgeable and very supportive, especially as someone who has never touched a kettlebell or barbell. Every workout we do at least one thing that’s new which I love. The community is fantastic. 5/5 absolutely worth it.

This is a terrific class and environment especially for newcomers.
A special shout out to the trainer I had for my first two classes Kristine for making me feel welcome , providing instruction on some movements and introducing me to other members.
A super special shout out to Ashley for also making me feel welcome and assisting both with the class and comments on San Diego.
A welcoming environment where one can push themselves in a group environment but also take each exercise to their own level.

Joined about a month ago and have really enjoyed the experience so far. The workouts are challenging but leave you feeling amazing and strong afterwards. I have tried lots of new things, but the coaches are extremely helpful and knowledgeable to ensure you are lifting safely and at a weight that makes sense for you. It has brought back a lot of my love for exercise that was starting to drop going to the gym by myself. Last thing is the people and community are super helpful, supportive and welcoming, have met a bunch of nice new people!

Performance 360 in PB is the real deal. The trainers know their stuff and actually care about form, not just running you into the ground. The workouts are tough but super effective, and the vibe in the gym is welcoming no ego, just people trying to get better. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve conditioning, or just push yourself in a good environment, this is the spot.

I can't say enough good things about Performance 360. My wife and I workout here together, and the coaches are so helpful and encouraging that we both look forward to class every time we can be there. The training combines strength and cardio in a ratio that is really giving us great results.
I was concerned that the onboarding would have been steep since we hadn't been in a gym environment for a while, but the coaches provide modifications and instruction that gives both of us exactly what we need based on our individual strength and conditioning levels.

I felt truly welcomed from day one. I'm not American and my English isn't perfect, but the coaches have all been incredibly patient, guiding me through every workout step by step. I've been training here for three months now and I can already see an amazing transformation in my body.
A special shoutout to Ellie — she always encourages me, corrects my form (she's so technical when it comes to explaining the movements and the reason behind every adjustment to prevent injuries), and never hesitates to explain things as many times as needed.
I go every day, and I hope to keep coming for a long time!

Performance 360 in Pacific Beach is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to, and the standout feature is their incredible staff. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with genuine energy and encouragement that makes you feel like part of a community, not just a gym member. Every coach is knowledgeable, motivating, and attentive to proper form and individual goals. Whether you’re new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, they meet you where you are and help you push forward. The programming is smart, challenging, and constantly evolving. The staff’s passion for what they do shines through in every class, and it’s the kind of place that makes you actually look forward to working out.

Loved the work out classes - the instructors are all sooo good. I did a discounted trial for a month - before the membership started I requested to cancel my membership, which was processed, & then I was charged for the month. I had 8 classes on my account and tried signing up for classes and couldn’t even use them. So I got charged and couldn’t even use the classes!! I emailed, called, and texted the manager with no response. When I was wanting to sign up he was super responsive. Super bummed because this gym is so great otherwise! Be careful if you are starting a discounted intro month.

I can't say enough great things about P360! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and part of an incredible community. The coaches are knowledgeable, motivating, and truly care about helping everyone with their form and fitness, and they provide great alternatives for people with injuries. The workouts are always challenging but fun, and I love how the coaches go thru each movement at the beginning of class. Everything is at your own pace and there's always plenty of stations, so you never feel rushed or the need to compromise form for speed. Plus, they have plenty of daily class times and offerings, so there's something for everyone!

I’d give this place a million stars but unfortunately they’re capped at only 5. Always a tough workout that keeps to a tight hour window. Trainers are great and always provide feedback on form. Classes are never too compacted either and they have a great app that is easy to navigate. Well worth the money to kick your ass into shape every month!

Great value for a gym where you have access to a trainer that can help you train properly. Coming into P360, I thought my weightlifting form was great. Within the first week, the coaches were able to correct my form and allow me to confidently lift without worrying about possible injuries.
In addition, I love that I do not have to come up with a workout every time I come to the gym. Everything is premade and all you have to do is show up.
I highly recommend this gym.

Joined P360 a month ago and wish I did it years ago! I love the workouts and the way they are set up with 5 week plans so that you can work towards gaining more strength. I lifted for many years but stopped due to a back issue which left me nervous to start lifting again- however I no longer have that concern as all of the coaches are great and truly help out with form corrections and substitutions if needed!

Really great place to workout. The coaches give 1:1 attention throughout the workout and are knowledgeable and friendly. The community at the gym is friendly too and made my first experience with weightlifting a lot less intimidating. I feel comfortable being a beginner here and already have made progress with strength and confidence in the gym.
Chaged my rating to 3 star but only because I learned that this place is NOT best for beginner. Last spring I started with a lower weight and was encouraged to bump it up by the coach. It is 100% my responsibility to know my body but my technique was poor and the heavier weight caused me to injure myself. It is something I have been aware of since. I did ask for form correction and got a little guidance but I feel I should have been encouraged to drop the weight until my form was better.
Again, I take responsibility for knowing what my body needs; I just feel its worth saying that taking some 1:1s before joining group classes OR having prior experience is necessary to enjoy the fun group classes safely. 🥰

Really fun and challenging classes that provide an awesome workout! Plenty of times throughout the day. I can't say enough nice things about the coaches. Kristine, Jake, and Ellie have all been super welcoming, helpful, and patient. They provide excellent instruction and critique my form as needed (which is often). Before this class I had never done most of the exercises, particularly olympic style lifts, so I had a lot to learn. Even in larger classes they provide personalize feedback to help you learn and improve. I'm still learning even two months into starting here but I've seen awesome benefits already :)

For a long time, I had fallen out of love with working out, and was really struggling to find the motivation to get back to it until I did a trial class at P360. Here I am two months later still going weekly and still loving every minute of it. I haven’t met a coach yet that I didn’t absolutely love. The workouts are amazing. The coaches are amazing, they really motivate you and help you correct your form along the way, which I find so helpful because I am not an expert by any means. Fantastic gym and extremely good instructors! The environment is very professional and set up for getting you the best bang for the time you spend on working out (Read: clean, equipments setup, bright and roomy, no chit chat and BS). The classes start with a really clear demonstration of the day's workout with a focus on form and common mistakes. During the class the instructor are constantly monitoring everyone's form (always surprised at the how the instructors can pay attention to each and every person in the class). I’ve been a member of P360 for a few years now. This was the first gym I’ve been to where everything really clicked. Not only did I get good coaching to help me achieve my fitness goals, but the coaches taught me why I was doing the different exercises, how each exercise was helping me and gave me options to adjust the programming to hit my specific goals.
And it works. I could see the tangible results in the way I looked, the way I felt and differences in my body in doing everyday tasks. Just to make sure you are progressing, the coaches provide numerous testing opportunities – to track and monitor your improvement. So I could see my actual gains in various lifts, I could see my speed increase or the increases in my vertical jump. On top of that, the coaches make it really easy to succeed. Don’t get me wrong – the workouts are hard and exhausting. But if you follow the programming, you will see results. As somebody a few months away from turning 40, I really believe this gym has allowed me to continue to be really active – whether it’s hiking, mountain biking or playing competitive soccer with people half my age.
Needles to say, when everything closed down due to COVID, I was really wondering where I’d be able to get my exercise. We all know there are a ton of benefits to exercise. For me, I wanted to continue to push myself physically. Plus, exercise has always been a major outlet for stress for me too. I immediately looked for replacements to my trips to the gym. Thankfully, the coaches at P360 really stepped up with their grassroots program. With their grassroots program, I get a new workout every day. I get the same benefits from the great coaching, programming, interaction with coaches but I get to do it all from home.
Every workout is accompanied by an actual coach explaining the workout and giving pointers on how to make it most effective. There are videos showing every exercise so I can make sure I am doing everything correctly to maximize the results. If I still have questions, the coaches are always available to answer questions. The grassroots program takes everything that makes this gym and these coaches so great and puts it in an App. Unlike a lot of other online platforms, the coaches are active on the platform and interacting with us – answering questions, providing encouragement and keeping us moving forward.
The workouts are flexible based on what you have (weights, bands or nothing) and provide progression options to make sure you’re not over or underwhelmed. I’ve been doing this program for many months now and am still pleasantly surprised how hard the workouts can be. More importantly, I feel like I’m still progressing in terms of strength and my fitness - and there’s enough variety to keep it interesting and keep me looking forward to the next workout.
Due to my job, I’m being a lot more cautious in my daily activity and will probably be one of the last ones back in the gym. With Grassroots, I’m able to keep improving myself on a daily basis. The best part is this workout follows me wherever I go. I started doing this in our condo in PB (with my neighbors watching me do burpees). Late last year, my wife and I – since we’re both working from home at the moment - decided to spend a few months in Colorado. Thanks to grassroots, I’ve been able to keep up with the gym and the program from here. When the world is back to normal again (as much as that’s possible) and I can go to the gym again, I feel like I’ll be able to pick up where I left off.

The question came up during Christmas 2019: “best gifts over the years?” For me, it was receiving the first couple months of Performance 360 (P360) membership in 2017 as a gift. What makes P360 the ‘best gift’ is the community is comprised of friendly people from a variety of backgrounds, the (great) coaching and programming for fitness at all levels, the class-based strength and conditioning approach are fun and motivating, and there is also a focus on aspects outside the gym on things like tracking (they have an app!), yoga, and nutrition. If you are someone new to the area looking to join a community, are someone in the military and/or first responder looking to maintain an edge, or a (grand)parent seeking more daily energy to chase the kids around I would recommend you at least give it a try. If you are like me, you may be somewhat apprehensive at first about fitting into the established community or being fit enough to perform the movements, but I hope to assure you that the community is warm and welcoming, the coaches are instructive and encouraging, and P360 can become a cornerstone for healthier lifestyle choices. As Ed O’Neil put it regarding his Jiu Jitsu practice: just step through the door.

I joined P360 about 6 weeks ago and this is hands down the best gym and support system in San Diego. The community is great, coaches are helpful but not overbearing and there is a ton of flexibility with class schedules between all the different locations! I have been a member for 3 years and recommend Performance 360 to everyone I meet in PB/OB/Bay Park. I can’t say enough good things about the gym. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The workouts are never boring and designed to build on each other so that you can meet whatever goal you set for yourself. I’ve worked out at other gyms that focus on making the workouts as intense as possible. While P360 doesn’t lack intensity, it is much more focused on quality than quantity. Instead of doing 100 deadlifts, you will slow it down and work towards your personal max over the course of weeks.
The coaches are also extremely available to the members and will work with you on injuries or when you need more instruction.
I came in knowing nothing about Olympic lifts. Not only do I feel comfortable with all of them, I’ve never injured myself in the process.

Great experience/great workouts! There is a true community feel with the gym members, which makes the workouts more fun. The daily workouts are challenging, but can be modified to meet your needs. They have 4 open locations now, and class options on an hourly basis (most of the day). The coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly. So glad I found this gym!

Best fitness community I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of. I have trouble defining P360 as a “gym” because it offers so much more. I’m able to push myself physically and mentally everyday while feeling safe and educated about why I am doing the things I’m doing. I did CrossFit for several years which I loved but as I got older I realized that I couldn’t workout with reckless abandon anymore. P360 and it’s amazing coaches have opened my eyes to my individual potential and on top of that it’s a fun place to come workout. Fitness and sports have always been an integral part of my life but that isn’t a prerequisite to loving this place. You can be any age or fitness level and feel perfectly at home with Performance 360.

First off, Performance 360 needs to buy me a sewing machine. Why? Cuz they got me ripped! GADOOSH!
Okay seriously, P360 is without a doubt the best gym I've ever been a member of. I joined in August 2017 and have been attending multiple times a week, religiously since. I truly love the variety of classes offered, and especially the extraordinary expertise and overall dopeness and badassery of the coaches. They do such a wonderful job of pushing you to what you think are your limits, then facilitating that jump for you to go beyond that limit. I've absolutely seen quantifiable gains in my body over the past two years, but more importantly felt a lot better about my body and physical abilities. I'm hoping to remain a member of this gym for a long time.

Waited 4.5 years to review this place just to really make sure I love it. This is no frills and fully equiped, loosey goosey and structured, a community and you can be a hermit. It's what you make of it and it's held this non-gym person's attention for 4.5 years and I'm stronger and faster than 4.5 years ago. You really need to try it!

Performance 360 is a gym and a community that has the resources to help people accomplish their fitness/lifestyle goals. I came in with relatively little lifting/strength-training experience and they were super willing to work with me. The coaches are friendly but not afraid to challenge you, which is great for giving you that extra push or correcting techniques that aren't safe. The people here want to help you help yourself be better.

I can't express in words how much I love my gym. The coaches are amazing, the community is so welcoming, and the energy is electric. I have tried about every fitness / gym routine under the sun and have never felt so passionate and excited about my workout each day. It is easy to feel intimidated by the raw look of the gym from the outside, but I promise once you come meet the coaches and the other members, there is no question that this is the best gym on earth!

Moving from La Jolla to PB brought with it so many positive changes, most notably was a shift in my fitness focus and application of my workouts towards my goals.
Right after moving I checked out P360 and connected right away with the coaching styles, focus on body mechanics to avoid injuries and individual knowledge of each of the coaches. The community is welcoming, encouraging and motivates one another to excel and do their best.
I feel that my stamina has increased, my level of intensity has gone up, my running has improved due to switching it up and introducing running into the workouts versus me simply running in the past. Additionally, having never played any team sports before, I can see how the training helped to supplement my training and coaching this year while playing SDAFFL Football and Vavi Soccer.
Coming from someone with bad social anxiety who used to shell out loads of money just so I would NOT have to work out with other people, I feel the culture and community here has helped to shake me of that as well.

This is the best gym in San Diego for a reason. Actually, more like a million reasons. The coaches are amazing - so helpful, encouraging and knowledgeable. I came in here an athlete, but new to the weightlifting/strength training/advanced conditioning side of things, but I always feel like I'm in good hands when trying out new moves or heavier weights than I'm used to. Every coach is really invested in your safety and progression and they will work with you until you get it right to prevent injuries and ensure you're getting the most out of the workout. The workouts are intense! After just one class, I was hooked and immediately bumped my membership to unlimited classes each month.
I honestly never thought I'd be so stoked to get my ass kicked every day. But I really look forward to going to P360 - something I can't say about most of the workout regiments I've done in the past. Don't change a thing guys - P360 is the best!

As a competitive jiu-jitsu athlete, a solid strength and conditioning program to supplement my regular training is crucial to remain at the top of my game, both so that I can have the strength and cardio to perform at the highest level and, most importantly, to keep myself injury-free while doing it.
I have definitely found that at Performance 360. I have never felt stronger and more confident when I step out on mat. As an added bonus, the staff are, in one word, badass. Incredibly knowledgeable, they are all super positive and encouraging, with unique personalities a touch of sass. ;) And my fellow members are nothing short of inspiring. I've never in my life seen such a huge group of incredibly strong women! The weights they're throwing around puts a lot of grown men to shame.
I couldn't recommend this place enough, whether you're an athlete, weekend warrior, or just looking to keep fit. P360's slogan is "become more"... and it's more than that... it's a promise and a guarantee when you become a part of the family.

This gym is incredible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I started at the gym in October 2014 I was 5'10" and 167 pounds. I had just quit smoking cigarettes in August 2014 (was a smoker for 6 years) and was trying to change my bad habits into good ones. At first, the gym was a little intimidating because I hadn't been to any gym in over a year. The coaches were friendly and gave me the one on one encouragement I needed along with help with all the movements. I started talking to more people in class and started to recognize some of the friendly faces each time I came. I had never done a clean, jerk, squat, or snatch. In fact, I hadn't done about 90% of the movements that P360 incorporated into the workouts. Now I can do them all and am stronger than I've ever been.
(Don't be intimidated, when I started I wasn't even putting weight on the barbell). Which is one of the other things I love about this gym. They want you to learn how to do the movements properly before you start trying to put a bunch of weight on the bar. These coaches & members genuinely care about your well-being and don't want you getting yourself injured.
Beginning of 2015 I did the P360 weight loss challenge (shred plan), and followed the nutrition plan to the tee. It was the FIRST time in my life I had ever dieted and documented everything I ate. Thanks to the guidance from the P360 coaches my results were incredible. Over 2015 I met more and more great people through P360 and they have not only become my good friends, but they have become my accountability, my competitors, and my motivation to never stop improving. I've put more hours in the gym, more weight on the bar, and had more laughs training with so many great people in the past year than I ever have... and I am so grateful for that.
Try one class and you will be hooked. I was.

P360 is without question the best gym in San Diego. I've been attending regularly for over a year and am in the best shape of my life, both physically and mentally, not to mention my endurance is far better than when I was running and spinning on a daily basis. I've tried it all - Insanity, 24 Hr fitness, boutique boot camps, TRX training, spin...you name it, I've probably done it. But far and beyond the mix of coaches, results driven programming and the community make this an outstanding place to train.
The programming is functional and always challenging, with options to modify for beginners and advanced athletes. It's constantly keeping your body guessing, and the schedule offers a variety of types of classes to fit your goals. I've incorporated a lot of movements that I never thought I'd be able to do, yet I always feel comfortable trying to lift more and try new movements because the coaching staff is knowledgeable AND motivating. They focus on safe technique and are of an extremely high caliber. I don't ever shy away from a class because I don't like the coach...all of them are phenomenal!
The community is what drives me to do better each time I'm in the gym - there's a variety of really advanced weightlifters and ex-professional athletes, fitness junkies (like myself) and your average joe who's maybe never touched a barbell in their life. But it is not intimidating at all, and everyone is very encouraging to one another. Not only that, many gym members hang out together on weekends and enjoy each other's company at social events. There is a great play hard work hard balance, and a sense of community that I haven't been able to find elsewhere.
If you've plateaued, are looking for the big life change, or need an extra challenge in your life to take to you the next level, I assure you P360 will not disappoint!

I've been working out at P360 for just over 2 years now, so a review is not only overdue, but well-earned by this awesome local gym and their kick-ass group of trainers. The coaches at P360 are able to meet their members at whatever stage of training and learning and athleticism their at. I know this, because I've gone through some dramatic changes in my time at the gym, and Coaches Julianne, Chris, Will, Brenna, et all have always observed and coached with incredible understanding of my abilities and challenges.
The workouts at P360 include all types of programming: Olympic lifting, Powerlifting, high-intensity training, and functional (as in rotational, all planes of movement, not how to lift a car) movement. I've been stoked to see that the owners and coaches are constanting improving the programming, onboarding, and coaching techniques. These guys aren't just looking to (only) make a buck, they are really looking to improve the lives of their members, and make each and every one harder to kill. They also have a great podcast, which is a great way to get some insight into their theory of training - and passion - before you even step in the gym: The Business of Lifting Weights (look it up!).
If you're on the fence, I recommend trying it out. If you feel nervous, reach out to the members in the room - everyone that is a member at P360 is incredibly stoked to be a part of the community and always welcomes newcomers with enthusiasm.

In early 2015, I began my adventure as a member of Performance 360. Their members are comprised of former and current professional and collegiate athletes, first-timers, seasoned gym rats, and mid-range fitness enthusiasts such as myself. Prior to joining, I had never done a ___________ (deadlift, split jerk, kettlebell swing, back squat, etc…) before. The workout programming here at P360 has exposed me to a world of exercises I had never known before, and under the watchful eye of the coaches I have been able to work toward better, stronger, healthier form every day.
The classes are booked through an online application (or “app” as the kids are calling it) that is also available on your mobile phone, and occur throughout the day on a 60-minute interval. Think you can’t get a tiring workout done an hour, then you really need to try a class here. Booking online reserves your spot as the classes are capped to make sure the coach can provide enough attention to each member without being spread too thin. And the classes vary throughout the week, you’ll see Daily Challenges, Olympic Weightlifting, Kettlebell Core, Shred, and Restorative Yoga just to name a few.
You like friends? Well, so do I. As an added membership bonus, you get to make friends within the structured classes (sometimes it’s nice to have someone hold you accountable when you don’t want to get out of bed for that 6 am class) and may even want to hang out with them outside the walls of the gym. P360 holds regular fun activities so that no one forgets there is more to life than just #gainz inside the gym. For me, it’s also about those friendship gains.
I think you would be hard-pressed to find another gym that offers a more attractive list of reasons to join their family. And you can find out for yourself when you sign up for your free trial class!

I have been a member of P360 since I moved to San Diego back in April 2015. I have been an avid runner, snowboarder and soccer player my entire life and thought I was in pretty good shape until I walked into the doors at P360. Since that day, I have learned what true strength training is and how it feels. That the scale is not what matters. That women can LIFT and it is FUN and so much more.
All the coaches are awesome and are very hands on with your training. My fellow members whether they have been there since P360 opened or its their first day - you feel a sense of comradery. We all want the same thing: to get fit, healthy, have fun, feel good and get stronger! It's like free therapy for me. I look forward to going to the gym every day rather than dread it. The owners, Dave & Bryan are amazing guys who really bring a sense of family/community to the rooms of their gyms. They also workout with you just like all the other members. They do an amazing job of creating the workouts/classes. The classes are reasonably sized (25 or so per class) and they offer Open Gym Saturday and Sunday.
I can't say enough about P360 and all I have gained since joining the gym on this one post but I am grateful I found them and plan to be a member as long as I am here in San Diego.
Who doesn't enjoy lifting weights, getting stronger and enjoying the process with an awesome community like Performance 360? I am lucky I found them.

The worst thing about this gym is that you end up in such great shape people are always stopping you on the street and asking if you lift. “Yeah brah. Obviously. At P360. Then they’re all like, well, so, it’s like crossfit? And you have to be all like, no, it’s not crossfit, I’m not very good with words, it’s just a really awesome gym; I don’t know man, if you want to get in killer shape with awesome people and pretty good looking coaches you should just show up. Can I please finish my baked bear now? I’m tryna bulk before summer.”
That conversation happens at least weekly. Or at least the part about the baked bear does. But seriously, P360 has changed the workout/fitness/health side of my life. I was always in decent shape, but after college, no longer playing any competitive sports, and riding a desk, I found myself fading workouts at 24 hour. Being cheap, it was the absolute worst leaving the $25/month gym deal but I would literally pay twice what I pay for P360 at this point. If I lost my job and had no monies, I can’t imagine the sketchy stuff I would do to be able to keep going to this gym.
You will see people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities at this place. It’s usually pretty split between men/women. There are always new faces popping up so don’t feel intimidated about coming by and trying a class. Pro athletes sweat it up with mathletes and both get exactly the killer workout they need. The programming (gymnese for the type of workouts they do) is top notch. Wanna lose weight? It’s for you. Wanna put on a little size? Come on in. Want to supplement your endurance training? Get in here.
I could keep going but you get the point. This place is hands down the best gym around, come check it out.

I joined P360 about two years ago after hearing so much about it from friends. At the time I was a hardcore runner constantly training for half marathons and thinking I was in great shape even though I was constantly injured. I was a little scared of joining at first since I had never picked up a barbell in my life, could barely do one push-up and couldn't even do a body weight squat due to messing up my knees so badly from running. However, from day one I was greeted with nothing by support and an eagerness from all the coaches and fellow members to help me feel comfortable and to constantly improve at my own comfortable pace.
Two years later and I am now in the best shape of my life and can do so many things in and outside of the gym that I never imagined I would be able to. As a runner I thought I was in pretty good shape, but was mortified to find out my body fat percentage was considered borderline overweight. I have lost about 8% body fat over the past two years and feel faster than I ever did while just running. I have also managed to train injury free due to the attention to proper form on all movements and the resources available for mobility, stretching and injury prevention.
To say this place has changed my life feels like an understatement. From the physical and mental changes, to the relationships I have formed with the coaches and the hundreds of new friends I have made here, this place feels like home. I highly recommend anyone come check it out, whether you’re a complete beginner or highly experienced. The programming is amazing and I am still constantly being challenged. I love this place.

I remember it like a horror movie. It was April 2014, I was roughly 40 pounds overweight, which is obese according to Kaiser Permanente, single, desperate, watching soap operas and midget porn on repeat. My “friends” wouldn’t talk to me. People would point, laugh, and pass judgment. Girls would say “Free Willy!” to me. At first I thought they were really into seeing my you know what, but it turns out Willy is a whale in a stupid movie. When walking through farmers markets, I would often hear vendors scream, “SAMPLES OVER HERE!” because they were certain that I’d buy their food. Finally, when I was told I couldn’t go sky diving because I was just over the weight limit, I decided I needed to change my ”weighs” (see what I did there??).
My colleagues tried getting me to join their gym -- of course they would receive a discount on the following months dues, never mind the fact that I was heavy and gross. I finally caved and agreed to attend a free class. I went. At first, I thought I was going to die. I cried, puked, laughed, cried again, BUT decided to sign up for a month. I was extremely nervous leading up to it thinking I’d be judged or ridiculed. After all, I hadn’t really worked out since college (5 years earlier). You can imagine the relief I felt when I showed up and the coach was extremely welcoming and there were people of all athletic abilities. Did I finish last place in the circuit the first couple of weeks I went? Yup. Did it stop me from feeling welcome and thoroughly enjoying the work outs? Absolutely not.
It is now December 2015 and I am still going to the gym. When girls on Tinder ask me what I like to do for fun, I’m now one of those tools who reply, “go to the gym.” My weight, physique, attitude, and confidence have completely transformed. I made it a choice to go to the gym from the beginning, but it's the coaches, members, and the workouts that keep me going back. If I could give P360 six stars, I would possibly strongly consider it.
p.s. I'm currently 30 lbs lighter than I was and have a lot more muscle then I did when I started the gym. I'm still single watching soap operas, but not crying as much.

Long time member, first time reviewer. P360 has helped me in so many ways. Short story - if you need motivation and want to see results, go here. With P-360, you pay for what you get and you get what you put into it. Once I took it seriously, I dropped at least two inches off my waist I didn't know would happen and about 5 lbs of fat.
Now for the long story...
I used to be the typical gym goer at one of the mass gyms... paying $20 a month, kind of 1/2-a*ssing my workouts for an hour or two. Run a little curls, use machines, whatever. I wasn't fat, but I wasn't in shape.
Also... I'm not a gym guy. I'd rather skate and play volleyball than go to the gym. I dislike lifting anything and wasn't sure I'd like group workouts. I'd rather play sports. I have a hectic schedule with my job and thought I needed a gym open at all hours... I was wrong. Turns out I am a gym guy, as least as far as this place is concerned.
I eased my way into it with one of their twice a week programs and immediately saw results from P-360, so after a few months, I stepped it up.
Kettlebells, barbells, hybrid cardio workouts... this place offers it all in compact, roughly 45-60 minute sessions. 90 percent of the time I leave dripping in sweat and feeling great when I get home. The times I don't... it's my fault.
Everyone there, from the coaches to the members, is super friendly. It's easy to think you'll be intimidated because you've never done a hang clean or renegade row, but you'll get over that. They'll show you how to do the movements the right way and the safe way.
And while most of the members are in shape, trust me, not all of them looked like that six months ago. Some have always been true athletes, but many I've seen cut fat and gain muscle right before my eyes.
There's no pressure to do things you're uncomfortable with, but there is tons of motivation around you.

Definitely the best gym in San Diego. The members are friendly and welcoming, the Coaches are knowledgeable and informative, and the results cannot be questioned.
I've had memberships at Jumbo-Gyms (24, LA, etc) and the anonymousness contributed to several failed "get in shape" attempts. Performance360's environment and small class size make the workouts personal, with specific attention from coaches, and positive competition and encouragement from other gym members (that eventually become friends).
For everyone that asks: This Is Not A Crossfit Gym.
I love this gym and appreciate being part of an awesome community of people pursuing fitness and health goals while having fun.

When it came to finding a gym in San Diego, I struggled with really feeling at home. P360 was recommended to me by such an overwhelming amount of people, I felt I had to give it a go. My first class in the gym, I was warmly greeted not only by the coach, but the entire class. Many of the members offered me encouragement and I felt accepted right away. This is just one of the many perks of being a part of P360. More than just a gym, I have found it to be a community. The people here are some of the best people I have been lucky to know in San Diego. It is such a heartwarming thing to get to the gym desiring to get that work in and also having a class full of people that want to see you succeed. They want to be a part of your success story!! Another perk? The programming and the knowledge... The group of people that run this place, put their hearts and souls into this place. They are always studying, sharing knowledge, looking into the always developing science of the physical and physiological processes of the human body. I feel safe knowing that my training is built upon the foundations of technique and safety. I am consistently pushed to perform the programmed movements being mindful of the functionality of the movement and the proper technique to ensure safety. I recommend P360 to anyone who is looking to not only {Become More}, but to also join a large group of really great people who make up the P360 family. I am a P360er for life!

Hands down the best gym I have ever been to... it is so nice to not have to think about what workout I am going to do for the day and just show up with one already planned for the entire week. I also love the group atmosphere because it makes me work 10 times harder than when I go to Global gym and do a half-assed 3 sets of 10 bench press and curl workout I thought of on my own.

I have been a part of P360 for about 3.5 years and just giving it 5 stars does not do it justice. Joining P360 was a huge turning point in my life, not only to living a healthier lifestyle, but also many other aspects of my life because of the friendships and business connections I have made. The workouts are always challenging but fun. There is no other gym like it!

I joined the gym 2 years ago, and it has been by far the best decision I've made since moving to San Diego. Pritz and Dave have unmatched knowledge about weight lifting and diet, and they have built a staff of like-minded people who truly want to help you and watch you succeed and achieve your goals, whatever they may be.
If you are new to the area and want to make friends and get in shape, or if you are simply tired of going to the gym by yourself and doing curls and bench press, you owe it to yourself to stop by and try it out.
The reason this business will be around for a long time is because unlike most other places out there that have some mild success then stop trying, these guys are constantly thinking of ways they can be better and create a better experience for their customers. I can not say enough good things about this place, just go there and see for yourself.

This place is aweful & unsafe.
The trainer Robby Sparango has no clue what he's doing. By back and shoulders are all messed up now.

As the adage goes, "you are only as good as the people you surround yourself with". At this point I have been a part of the P360 Family for over 2 years now. I can very safely and confidently say that I am the best version of myself that I have ever been. Not only physically but in regards to the health of my relationships with friends and almost every other aspect of my life. It's cheesy to say but but how you pursue one thing in your life is how you pursue everything. Pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone in gym setting (w/ amazing coaches) will spill over into everyday life making you a better employee, entrepreneur, spouse, friend, etc. On to the stuff that really matters - I have lost weight, gained abs, gotten ALOT stronger, and look pretty awesome naked. You get a 1 week free trial when you sign up so spark that change you have always wanted in life and just make it happen (nothing bad can come of going to a new gym for a week)!

I joined P360 when I first moved to San Diego. The owners (Bryan and Dave) not only introduced me to my circle of friends, but helped me train to a level that I did not know I could reach. I recommend P360 to EVERYONE I know, no matter what fitness level they are at.
