My personal training during the summer with coach Eduardo was truly a pleasure. He helped me accomplish my weight and muscle goals in a short amount of time. He was very supportive and aware of physical and medical my issues and worked with them in order to achieve better results. This gym, has the equipment that is more than enough for the type of training I m taking classes three days a week. The coach Ben , teach me techniques that help me to improve my performance, to have strong muscles . He is constantly suggesting me things that I should correct during the training session I take . He provides personal training and truly cares for his clients well being along with their goals. He also possesses vast knowledge pertaining to exercise, health, and nutrition. I have trained with Ben for 2 years now and it has been a life changing experience. After being an observer for a year while my son trained with him, I took the plunge and haven't looked back except to see the progress I've made.

Ben works on what you want to work on and doesn't push for anything. Incredibly patient, great to talk to, and highly encouraging.

I suffered quite a few injuries in my 20's, limiting my movement throughout the years. This included fracturing my back.

Ben Landry is an amazing trainer! I started working with Ben in July of 2024. Ben doesn’t just run a lifting or exercise program he works with his clients to understand their needs and custom tailors a program to meet your specific goals. He helped me plan my daily meals, consistently checks in during the week, and I can honestly say he cares about his clients health and overall well being. “Mind, body & spirit” as he likes to say.

Personally I was able to drop 27 pounds of fat in the first 6 months, came in doing zero pull-ups - now doing 10 consistently, and has even helped me work through back and neck pain, from a previous injury, that I thought was never going away.

This is by my far favorite gym I’ve been apart of. I’m always greeted with kindness and motivation from not only the trainers, but the clients as well. I’ve been coming here since June 2025 and within just a few weeks I was able to feel completely comfortable with everyone. I love knowing I can workout in a judgement free space that allows me to make mistakes or not be 100% myself and the people here will make sure I leave feeling 10x then I felt when I first arrived. JP is my trainer and he always goes above and beyond to meet the expectations I have for a trainer but also holds me accountable as a client. He tailors the diet and workout plan specifically to each client so that we’re able to meet our own personal goals at a comfortable pace. Hello beautiful people! Today, I want to share with you an amazing experience.

I came to San Diego Strength and Wellness at a dire time in my life. I had received the news that I might need knee surgery due to a tear on my ACL and Meniscus.

That evening I spoke to my dear friend Ben and he asked me the following " do you want to wait and see what the doctors say? Or do you want to give your knee a fighting chance at recovery through proper physical training?

The thought of getting in better shape, not going under the knife and giving my body a chance to heal was too tempting to pass. I said "YES".

I then asked " what do I need to do?" and he just said "just trust me Sal".

We immediately set up our workout schedule and he asked me to send him photos of everything I was eating throughout my day.

Twice a week I did 60 minute personal training sessions and sent him daily photos of my meals until I refined my eating habits.

I can honestly say I am not dieting. I eat what I want, when I want. I just crave healthy stuff and that is what I had been chasing for a long time; sustainable healthy eating habits.

With this said I want to thank you Ben!

First of all, your work ethic is contagious and the foundation to your success. Your gym is clean, not crowded, it has great energy and the team you have created is 2nd to none. Your whole team has eagerness to help and develop the talent that goes in seeking help/guidance on improving both mentally and physically.

I can now say that after 3 months of hardwork in and outside the gym, that I am stronger body and mind, healthier, and the fittest I've ever been. Oh and did I mention, NO SURGERY NEEDED!!

Started 2022 at 173lbs, got to San Diego Strength and Wellness at 163lbs and after 3 months got down to 148lbs. Slowly losing fat and gaining muscle. Being healthy is not easy and/or quick; it takes time, dedication, persistence, and above all, resilience to adhere to your objective.
