Great course. love the course layout. alot of false fronts towards the greens. unlike mountain course, expect water, sand and elevation. Hit em strait and long 😆

Good course. More of a shot-makers course. Only downfall - the traps are terrible. A thin layer of sand on hardpacked dirt. Friendly staff and marshal was on the course keeping the pace up.

Unbelievable experience. Everyone was so friendly, the tee times were separated perfectly so we finished our round in 4:10, it was the best experience and worth every penny. Course in amazing shape as you'd expect.

One of the most beautiful courses I’ve seen. Felt like I was at a PGA Tour event out here. Usually shoot high 70s and had an 89, though I did play the back tees. So pure though

Great course. VERY slow play. Frustrating when you pay so much and can’t finish the round because of darkness. Poor management.

Played today. Club house is very nice and practice facility is solid. Pace of play is ridiculous and they don’t do anything to speed up play. Beverage cart person”left” so no drinks or snack on the course. Greens are new and don’t hold anything even a high wedge. Layout is good and scenery is beautiful but not worth the price tag by a mile

I typically do not write bad reviews, but this deserves it. The pace of play was horrible. There was a five-some two groups ahead and no Marshall to complain to. Couldn't even finish the round. The course was okay, nothing spectacular but well maintained. The staff seem rude and the golfers that day obnoxious and loud.

Course Review: 8.4/10
I like to evaluate golf courses on a 10-point scale, and this course earned a solid 8.4. Here’s the breakdown:
1. Customer Service (2/10)
You (the golf course) have 3-7 minutes to make or break the experience for any golfer. Unfortunately, this aspect fell short. The staff member at the desk spent 3-5 minutes on the phone with a customer discussing tee times and rules, while five players, including myself, waited and overheard the entire conversation. After hanging up, she was noticeably rude to the next three paying customers and to us as well.
I gave her the benefit of the doubt due to the stressful conversation, but the situation could have been handled much better. Suggestions: take phone calls in a back room or return calls during less busy hours.
2. Starter (5/10)
The transition from the clubhouse to the starter was underwhelming. The starter lacked enthusiasm and didn’t provide much information about the course or general guidelines. While everyone has bad days, a more inviting approach could significantly enhance the player experience.
3. The Golf Course (10/10)
This is where the course shined. Playing from the tips, the layout and conditions were truly impressive. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were immaculate—easily a 10/10. The pace of play was a bit slow for a 4-ball group, and finishing in the light/dark after a 1:30 PM tee time was less than ideal. However, the overall quality of the course made up for it.
Final Thoughts:
This course has great potential to earn a higher score. The playing experience is fantastic, but staff interactions are crucial as they set the tone for the entire round. Pro tip: Your course experience begins with the first and second customer contact points. Small adjustments in service could elevate this course to the next level.
For context, I’ve reviewed 500+ courses in the last four years, and I can confidently say you have the foundation for greatness—just polish the details!

Good course in very good condition. Pace of play could be better, but I did play on a weekday of Thanksgiving week. Also, staffs were not rude but looked like they wanted to leave work badly; could be better. Staffs are usually a lot more enthusiastic abt their work at an upscale course like this. Nevertheless, beautiful course, and I really enjoyed my time here.

We flew our military son back from his deployment to golf at this course. They shamed his military shirt and asked him to buy a shirt because they are a private course. They would not refund us a partial credit so they can keep our $715 to donate back to the veterans of the area if they care at all.

My group and I were turned away from the golf course after being told that our attire was not appropriate — have golfed here before and have never had an issue with attire. My boyfriend serves in the US Navy and just returned from deployment overseas. This was meant to be a treat for him, but instead the staff turned him away for his outfit. Was also told that this is a “semi-private” course yet they charged us for public. Customer service was also very rude and ridiculed people of my group for what they were wearing and stood over our shoulders as we scrolled through their “sales” rack that still cost well over $100 even with discount. Don’t waste your money on a course like this. They won’t treat you kindly. We got out of there so fast because they probably would’ve kicked us out for the car we were driving anyways. Terrible customer service, don't waste your time.

Beautiful course. Greens were really firm because they were new making it hard to plan on the green. But course was in great condition. Would definitely go back.

First five holes seemed like you’re playing in a floodplain under interstates. Can’t believe Pete would put his name on this course.

Greens are very firm with a lot of undulation. Need to play 5 yards short of the pin and expect the ball to release on most holes. Played on a weekday and the pace of play was good.

Use to be a fav, revamp of greens makes the course more like Goofy Golf. Sad, won't be back.

What can I say, the rough was REALLY rough, most looked like they were under construction. The greens are 5 months old, and hard as concrete. The range is closed indefinitely. Overall the course is in really bad shape! Best part of the day was the clubhouse, chic and inviting, except for the truck cleaning out the grease trap in front, yikes! My opinion, there's plenty more choices in the Coachella Valley, this one is not worth the money! Won't go back!

This is the most fun I have had in a long time. The course, greens, tee boxes, and bunkers were in great shape. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and professional.
The round took about 4 hours and 15 minutes, which I think is acceptable for a vacation location and a full tee sheet. I saw a Marshall and beverage cart several times.

Love the course. Number 17 likely the most difficult par 4 in the valley. Huge problem is that after repeated rain storms flooding the Dunes and Mountain courses, ownership has yet to satisfactorily solve the drainage issue which has led to no ability practice in advance of teeing off, repeated course closure because of the water issue and aesthetically this yr. both courses have suffered.

Yikes. That’s a hard course. Nice layout, overall, but the greens were straight out of a Salvador Dali painting — melting off of the landscape. Definitely enjoyed the day, but if you have limited time in the area, lots of other great options.

First time playing this course and it was a lot of fun! Tough, but just a great day. We did have an incident where our cart ran out of battery at the 5th tee. We called the clubhouse and were told someone would be right out. 10 minutes passed and I called again. Another 5 minutes and an employee arrived with a cart. Didn’t say hello. Put the bags on the cart backwards. Was very rude. A big cheer for the beverage cart lady who stopped and gave us a beverage. It was a 85 degrees that day!! We lost some time but all in all a good day! Also, on the 18th putting green someone had a drone that kept buzzing our heads as we putted. Never figured out what that was all about.

Wow! Really hard course to play. Amazing fairways and greens. Beautifully maintained. I’ve played other Pete Dye courses and his design will mess you up in a good way, expertly challenging. And the viewpoint is amazing with angulations you can only imagine.
