The open gym is perfect for those looking for solitude during their workouts and it’s fully equipped with the best machines and weights. They also have amazing classes that not only put you through an intense workout, but they also build a community of peers that want to push you and see each other grow. The coaches are also the most engaging you’ll find out there, they genuinely love to check in on your progress, even outside the class room they’ll ask for an update. And just to throw some icing on this review, they have pickleball courts and fully stocked bathrooms and private showers.

Pharos made the perfect home base for a weeklong DIY fitness vacation. I chose this gym for its high-quality programming and equipment, which lived up to my (high!) expectations. I took "Build," "Train" and "Repair" classes during my trip, and found them all challenging and fun. The best part was the intangibles: top-notch coaches who got to know me and pushed me toward my athletic goals, and friendly members who made Pharos feel like a community. I highly recommend purchasing a visitor pass if you're in Palm Springs and want to put in quality workouts while you travel. Great new gym in North PS, top of the line equipment and very friendly/helpful staff. Its a hybrid gym that offers many athletic "worlds" all in one. Great coaches, more expensive then other gyms in the area but well worth the fee once you see how it changes your gym life. Open gym+classes is what I utilize and it helps that they have many huge bathrooms and parking!

In February I decided to sign up for this gym while passing by had no idea what kind of gym it was but needed a change. I use to blame my work schedule that I didn’t have time to work out because I work overnight. I made a decision that after I got off work I would go straight to the gym and do a morning build class. It was hard in the beginning but the coaches always insured me that there’s always modifications for everything as long as I was moving. One thing a Pharos coach told me and I will always remember he said “ you can’t compare yourself to others here everyone’s is on their own different journeys, you have to put blinder on and focus on yourself.” That really meant a lot to me after that I stop comparing myself to others and just focused on the thing I could do.
This gym has change me mentally and physically. I lost 35 pounds from being here I feel a lot stronger and happier. The staff, members and coaches have made me feel welcome! Thank you so much for opening up Pharos in Palm Springs

This is the BEST gym in the ENTIRE valley if you want to take your fitness seriously. Huge space. Classes if you want them, and if you don’t, that’s fine too. The owners are real people that care. Not faceless corporations. They put their heart, soul, blood, and tears into this place. And they’re building a community, and that’s huge. Like they say, if you wanna go fast, go by yourself. Pharos Palm Springs is the best! Like all their clubs - it’s everything you could want for fitness. The facilities are always clean and spacious, and the classes and programming are fantastic.

More importantly - It’s run by two of the nicest people who genuinely care about their members and the community. Thanks for being such a great place to recharge, especially during stressful times!

I am so disappointed. I had my heart set on trying out this new gym because I’m a fitness enthusiast. On October 23, 2024 I paid the $49 for the initial grand opening and received an email that informed me that an agent would contact me at the number I provided. This of course did not happen and I lost track of this gym opening because I thought it probably never got built. But I found out it’s in full operation and I’ve never been contacted and they kept my money. I am pretty livid. It’s not the money. It’s the way this was done.

When I tried to go back into the email that I received from them I kept getting an error message and there’s no phone number to talk to a human being. This is not the kind of gym anybody should belong to. I’ll be contacting Chase bank for a full refund. I’m also inclined to contact the CA Consumer Affairs Division…and other business and regulatory agencies!!
