Hi, I'm Claudia. I am a comprehensive certified Pilates instructor and Integrated Movement Specialist, and certified yoga teacher. I offer safe, encouraging one one one sessions in Pilates and yoga. We can work on an array of Pilates equipment at the studio in midtown or, at your home or even through virtual sessions. I have experience working with seniors, injury, amputation, limited mobility, anxiety, pre- and post-natal needs, athletic performance, and teaching the basics for those new to exercise. I want clients to feel safe and supported and to have fun exploring mindful movement! The goal is not to change you, but to help you feel better in the body you are in.

I’ve worked with many coaches and trainers in the past (windsurfing, bodybuilding, boxing, fencing) and consider Claudia in the elite category. Not because of her knowledge (Comprehensive though it is given yoga’s many schools.) or her thoughtful, even precise, approach to teaching but rather her humility and kindness. It’s no small thing to have a sixty-seven-year-old client (With a comical number of sports injuries.) and make the physical and spiritual journey (Starting at 65!) of yoga so "real world useful" and compelling. Claudia is a loving, caring and gifted Pilates instructor. Her knowledge and experience, plus her continuing education, always is a benefit to her clients. As I have fibromyalgia, the stretching and breathing allows my muscles to loosen and brings flexibility and less pain. I followed Claudia from another club when she opened in her cute studio. I have absolutely LOVED my classes with Claudia. I always feel it the next day and it makes me so happy because I know I connected deeply to my muscles and got a great workout in. Her cues are so on point and she uses great imagery so you really understand the purpose of each part of the exercise. HIGHLY recommend, she is an amazing instructor!

I absolutely love Claudia. She my favorite Pilates instructor. I was nervous about doing Pilates on the reformer but Claudia with she gives her full attention explains every move, she’d make sure I felt comfortable before I did it on my own. She’s so uplifting and encouraging. Totally would recommend Claudia. Also she is so knowledgeable in everything Pilates.

Claudia is an amazing instructor! As a pilates newbie and an athletic male with very tight lower body muscles, she was extremely effective at easing me into the exercises. She has consistently warm and positive energy and is genuinely funny, which is a nice change of pace when you’re doing hard work on the Reformer. Highly recommend.
