Pilates studioAbout the Club
Pilates Collective SLO is the Central Coast's choice for Pilates education. PCS was created in pursuit of helping people move and feel better physically, mentally and beyond. Not only does our studio subscribe to the traditional Pilates method and its benefits but we coined the term “Pilates Collective” as we have adopted tools from other modalities of fitness, physical therapy, and wellness institutions to better serve our clients. It is this collective and collaborative group of ideas, systems, people and energy that make us who we are, have reshaped the way we understand fitness and we are SO HAPPY to share it with you. Its time to rethink fitness with Pilates Collective SLO and expect change.

I've been going to Pilates Collective SLO since 2019 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I started with chronic pain and no movement background. The skills and movement practices I've learned here have (no exaggeration) changed my life. The team here are knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming to everyone that walks through the door.
I always look forward to my classes or private training sessions, and leave feeling 100 times better than when I arrived. Whether you are a beginner and new to Pilates or have been doing Pilates for years, there is something here for you.

I love this place! Lots of great teachers, each with their own workouts/ style, but an overall consistency of quality and professionalism. They offer fun events periodically which adds to the sense of community.
My previous studio took a break and so I'm really glad I could find a new amazing pilates studio to call home.

Absolutely love Pilates Collective SLO. Reasonable pricing (especially if you purchase class packs) and a fantastic lineup of teachers. I love the class size (around 7 people max) which makes it less intimidating to try it out especially as a beginner. It’s such a calm class atmosphere too, with chill music and natural light flooding the studio, which I must prefer over pounding music and mood lighting. I just love coming here!

Wonderful Pilates studio, great for both beginners and those of us focused on developing our practice into intermediate and advanced levels. Knowledgeable and thoughtful instructors who work to accommodate as many different body types and levels of engagement as possible. My Pilates work here has dramatically improved my physical health and stamina!
Updating my review about one year later: all of my previous comments remain true, plus I want to add that whether working with one of the instructors who has been with the studio for many years (e.g., Keira, the owner; Randyn; Chloe) or with one of the newer arrivals (e.g., Sarah; Bryn), you really can't go wrong! Again, lots of options for students at all levels across various types of classes and equipment. Still very much a 5-star experience for me!

UPDATE: I am so proud to say I am still going strong after 4.5 years after I joined December 2019. What a remarkable studio with the most knowledgeable and patient instructors. Every class is a unique challenge and I am always excited to go (versus dragging myself to the gym before/not going consistently). I am so much stronger and more aware of my body, which has absolutely alleviated my back pain! Endlessly thankful for this amazing place and all of the passion the team puts into each day. Thank you!
I've been coming here for about 6-7 months and I have to say- pilates has changed my life!!! Keira is absolutely fantastic and all of the instructors are so fun and helpful, it makes going to class so fun! I'm so happy they were able to adapt to virtual classes during the stay at home orders - I enjoyed it so much I upped my membership from 8 to 12 classes per month! It's so nice to have a variety of classes too- I'm really enjoying the mat classes but the HIIT classes and kettlebells are so fun to mix in too. It's great to have the small class setting too so you are getting full attention- I love that as a newbie!
I came here in pain. This was a last resort for me. I'd been suffering for years with horrible pain in my hips and I'd spent thousands of dollars trying to figure out what was wrong and how to fix it. I'd tried massage, acupuncture, physical therapy at 2 different places, steroid hip injections, chiropractor, chirp wheel, TENS unit, patches creams pills- you name it! I can honestly say that my pain is GONE and I feel so much stronger and healthier! Keira and her amazing team understand the body and give you the exercises you need to build up your strength.
As a side note- I was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and suffered from two brain aneurysms a few months later. I was so down on myself and especially my body for putting me through all of that. Pilates has helped me feel in control of my body and empowered to live a healthy life, free of pain! Thank you Keira and the whole Pilates Collective SLO team!

SO EXPENSIVE. Amazing studio potential with their reformer equipment but just not there yet. I think you’re better off going to Spark or SLO yoga center. Better quality instruction and workouts with lower or same price point. They make you take a 20 min intro class and pay $20 for this intro before you even are able to sign up for a normal class?! ($30). Intro is impossible to book on Mindbody/ there’s no option for this online. So you’re looking at spending $50 minimum to just complete one class ($30 class and $20 intro session). That’s more than any other studio I’ve ever been to (in SLO,SF,LA big cities etc). No one picks up the phone at the studio. So hard to book. Instructor for class showed up in a flannel and slippers. No music during workout. No class buildup/progression other than small warm up and warm down. They’re clearly working out the kinks at this studio but are losing out on so much clientele with the ridiculous price points and difficulty just signing up for that intro session class.

Can’t say enough great things about this studio! Positive instructors, clean space and lots of class types and times to choose from. The owner Keira is so personable and goes the extra mile to help figure out which package is best for you. All the instructors have a unique teaching style which I love! If you are new to the Pilates community (as I was) or have been enjoying it for years you won’t be disappointed with Pilates collective!
