I take occasional classes here and I really enjoy it! The instructors are amazing! Free parking with validation and overall the experience is great! If I lived closer this would be my go-to studio for lagree

I was really looking forward to this class, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing.
The trainer was not friendly or welcoming at all, and it made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. I believe a positive attitude and support are crucial in a fitness class, especially for new clients.
I hope the studio takes this feedback seriously and works on creating a more inclusive and encouraging environment.

I had the worst experience here, the instructor was so rude and not helpful at all for my first time taking Pilates. I also witnessed her being very unprofessional to a young lady for coming inn 1 minute late to the class. Telling her in a rude manner that she cannot take the class and that she would still get charge a late fee. Her name was Jada. For the amount of money ppl pay for these classes you would think the company would hire a friendlier and someone that actually cares about ur fitness journey. I will not be coming here ever again.

Jada is soo unprofessional I arrived three minutes late due to a wrong turn and unclear parking instructions, she immediately approached me and yelled at me to leave instantly without considering my circumstance. She even yelled in the microphone in front of the entire class to leave. I felt so humiliated and when I tried to ask if I can talk privately or direct me to someone I can talk to she refused to help me. This is my first time taking any class at a studio and I was prepared and excited but her attitude towards was so disrespectful. I will never attend a Pilates plus class at encino ever again.

My experience with them not so friendly. My first class I came on time and the teacher started yelling at me that I needed to come 10 minutes earlier then she told me I can’t do with regular socks and that I have to buy grip ones and they sell them ( how surprising )for $20!!!!!! Every other place let people to come for the first time for free they’re just greedy without no reason and bad customer service.

Word of wisdom: Never underestimate taking a class at Pilate Plus!!! It's definitely not your average Pilates studio, after all it's "Lagree", In my own words, Lagree means "hardcore/challenging/I can barely do it" :)
I love Pilate Plus and it's honestly one of the most challenging core workout I have ever done! I really get sore pretty much after each class and feel like I REALLY had a workout! I have tried other Pilates studios and was NEVER this challenged physically! Some instructors are harder than others and some are more attentive than others too. I can't say I have a favorite.

You won't go wrong doing a Lagree Method workout anywhere, but studio cultures can vary. At Pilates Plus Encino, you'll find a clean and posh studio, with very warm instructors who are supportive and who make an effort to learn your name. The workout itself is the most effective method to carve and sculpt your body. It's 55 mins of slow and controlled movements that are super challenging. You'll work your legs, core, obliques and arms all in one class and no matter how long you do this method, it never gets easy and you'll always feel sore the next day. Parking is validated and easy in the garage below.

Great studio! I took my 2nd pilates plus class here and liked it a lot! I suggest trying different instructors. It's a very different feel than Studio City location. Parking is free underground, and you don't need a ticket.

Class Pass taught me….
The Price: First class is $15 for new members then $35 per class after.
Location: Cute location located in a larger two story strip-mall with the most adorable carousel located on the first floor. The studio has tons of natural light and just consists of the megaformer machine and a small locker area. No room to chill out before the workout but you can walk around. Parking is free with validation but the parking attendants failed to collect our tickets as we left. It’s easy enough to find, a good amount of space and located near a lot of charming stores.
The Workout: I’ve been taking Pilates regularly for about 4 months but have been familiar with the technique for over a year and this by far was one of the toughest classes I’ve taken. The movements were simple enough but the flow was rapid leaving little time for your muscles to catch a break. We did work out a lot of the slow twitch muscles, muscles I am not used to working out so that was a challenge on its own. The class was good, but whoever or whatever Lagree Fitness is makes me think its Satan sent because I was pure struggles. It’s a higher intensity workout for a shorter period of time, but you will feel every min.
FYI: BRING YOUR OWN GRIP SOCKS! The socks here are ridiculously expensive! For two pairs of socks and a Kind Bar I paid $44. You could run down the street to Big 5 and get some for $5.
Overall great workout, great intensity and the instructor was really helpful. Kinda pricey if you don’t have class pass.

The number that Google Maps provides for this location is NOT CORRECT! Please do not call this number. This poor woman has been dealing with calls for Pilates Plus for months. Please get the correct phone number directly from the Pilates Plus website.
(I rated this as 'excellent' because I did not want the studio to receive a poor review for a Google Maps related mistake.)
