I had zero experience with pilates before coming to Pilates Punx, and now I’m totally hooked! I’ve been coming here for two years and I am so much stronger, especially in my core muscles. The classes are affordable, the instructors are great, and the owner Allie is really nice. She’s one of those owners who really shows up, and you can feel it in the space. Vibe at the studio is friendly and professional. All sorts of folks practice here from beginner to advanced. If you’re looking for a new studio of thinking of giving pilates a shot for the first time I highly recommend Pilates Punx!

Top tier Pilates! Will definitely be back many times to come. Kirstie in particular was a fantastic instructor, checking in with each person on form for hard moves!

The private Pilates sessions are great! The studio is very clean and has parking which is a plus. Always a fun music selection too. 🧑‍🎤

Pilates Punx slaps! I’m pretty new to the Pilates game, but I’ve been doing Lagree method for a few weeks, which is supposedly more intense than regular Pilates (internet told me that) HOWEVER Pilates Punx is not “regular” in any way, and the work out was the most leg-burning, muscle-fatiguing Pilates experience I’ve ever had. The music rocks, the space is welcoming and cool at the same time and even though Punx is only a 5 minute drive from home, I’d drive to Santa Monica from Silverlake for Lauren’s unparalleled instructing - super clear and smooth transitions! Also they have late enough classes so you can make it after work! Pick this place!

I came here for the first time today and took the classic Pilates class. It was great! Studio was clean and organized, the instructor was detailed and super helpful. Parking wasn’t bad. Will definitely come again.

I love the owner, Allie, and her teaching style. I took private classes from her for a long time, and she helped me feel strong and healthy. Pilates Punx is an awesome new studio, and Allie will kick your butt, especially in her Buns n' Guns class. I leave feeling amazing every time!

Not so punk!!
I was happy to test this pilates studio near my new place.
Unfortunately I was not allowed to do the class as I wore normal socks and not grip socks as mentioned in their policy, what was not mentioned when I booked. Otherwise I would have brought mine. I asked to do an exception for this time as it was my first time. They didn’t accept and it went into a drama because I asked this.
I requested a refund by email and communicated how I was disappointed by this first experience because of a wrong pair of socks. I got a crazy long email (here is an extract). I still didn’t get refunded ( update: I got refunded a few days later)

This is a great studio, and probably my favorite so far. It's super clean, parking is plentiful, and the instructors are super chill - most importantly, knowledgeable. Even though I've been to a handful of studios in the past, I considered myself still a newbie for my first class at Pilates Punx. At the end, I felt recharged and confident! I even forgot my grip socks once, BUT they had some available for purchase right in the studio! *whew!* Crisis averted! I highly recommend Pilates Punx - all my questions were answered with kindness, and another perk, the first class is only 10$!!

Best Pilates instructor - ever! I knew Allie as an instructor before she opened her doors to Pilates Punx and now I am a dedicated person! Street parking is easy and they do classes and privates.

I’ve had the fortune of taking a few classes here and I love it! The aesthetic is rock n roll which is a nice change of pace from moat studios and the teachers are top notch! They offer a huge variety of classes including jump board which is one of my faves and a lot of places don’t offer it. I highly recommend checking them out!

BEST PILATES IN TOWN!
Great Vibe, Super Nice Instructors and my first class was only $10! That’s gotta be the cheapest in town. As a guy, it’s not often that I feel welcome in Pilates studios, but all they asked was that I wear grip socks, which I appreciate (safety first and all that Jazz). The music is fun, the classes have really made a difference... and the best part, is the little white pup who is sometimes there... he’s the sweetest ever!

Also, I bought myself an awesome Ramones shirt and one from Alice Cooper I had never seen before!
